Install Skype in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/11.10 oneiric/11.04/10.10/10.04/9.10/Linux Mint Versions

Skype allows people to communicate with each other by messaging, voice calling and video calling over internet. Skype also provides services for phone calls on the telephone networks. Everybody can call on Skype network free of charge there is no limit of call, on the other side Skype charge users for calling to land-line and mobile phones. Skype becomes popular among users for its additional features, like file sharing, screen sharing, video conferencing. I think you know more about Skype, so it's enough intro :).

To install skype in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

sudo apt-get update

Install Lightspark 0.5.7 flash in Ubuntu 12.04/11.10/11.04/10.10/Linux Mint (New Release)

Lightspark is an LGPLv3 licensed Flash player and browser plugin written in C++/C that runs on Linux. It aims to support Adobe's newer Flash formats and AVM2 virtual machine.

Beside a lot of small improvements this new release improves the graphics capabilities, with a focus on Flash features used by games. Currently there are lot of bugs in lightspark but we can hope it will get better with time because adobe dropped further flash support for linux. New Version is only available for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/Linux Mint 13.

Here are some Ubuntu Indicators which can be useful for everyone. These indicators makes easy to use Ubuntu. After 2nd indicator add NoobsLab ppa and start installation. All indicators are checked on written Ubuntu Version, So hopefully there will be no problem for you to install and use them.

1: Weather Indicator (For Ubuntu 12.04/11.10/11.04):
Weather Indicator allows to see your current weather situation in Ubuntu panel, This is available in Ubuntu repositories so you don't need to add any PPA for this indicator.

Cairo Dock includes many plugins/applets such as: weather, clock, Messaging Menu, system monitor, keyboard indicators, custom icons, notification area, clipboard manager, and many other plugins.

sudo apt-get install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins
