Seriously, it was a real headache narrowing down our selection to just nine tracks and I'm still kicking myself for omitting the enormous title track from Jesu's excellent new album Conqueror. But, a few minor sacrifices aside, I'm confident that this is our most cohesive set of tracks to date.

New bands such as Manchester's excellent Circus Animals Desertion rub shoulders with old favourites like the resurgent Dinosaur Jr, and the wistful indie-pop of Loney, Dear thrives alongside the glitchy electronica of Crystal Castles and the throbbing electro punk of Shout Out Out Out Out.

As ever, we hope you enjoy the podcast.
