There are 3 ways to purchase tickets : 

1. Online sales – starting NOW (until Tuesday)! You can purchase tickets HERE. 

• Online order tickets can be picked up at Spring Fling from the ticket table at Door 3 starting at 5pm. These tickets can be purchased starting today until Tuesday at 5pm.

2. At the School yard – Pre sales in the playground will be as follows – STARTING NEXT WEEK: 

• Monday & Tuesday – mornings (8:20 am) and after school – located outside Door 4
• Wednesday – morning only after bell – 8:20 am – located outside Door 4

3. On the day of the Spring Fling – there will be 3 ticket tables – Wednesday June 10

The fan favourite Ice Cream Truck is coming back. You won’t want to miss it! Treat yourself to a cool treat: a vanilla, chocolate or twist cone (sorry no dip or sprinkles) or a slushie!

FAMILY BINGO NIGHT is coming! 

Thursday, May 14 from 5pm – 7pm 

We look forward to welcoming Northlea families for a FUN family Bingo night.

Tickets purchased in advance will be $8 per player and will include ONE Bingo card, chips, and unlimited play for several games throughout the night. Small prizes offered for every winner!

Pizza, chips, drinks, treats AND extra Bingo cards will be sold separately so please bring CASH along.

Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.

Northlea will hold its annual Dance-a-thon on Friday April 17th hosted by Riff Whims. All of our students will enjoy a designated time to come to the gym and shake it down with DJ Riff Whims and his music. Students will be invited to submit their song requests ahead of our big event. 

To support this event we are asking our students to help us fundraise by collecting from friends and family that they know. We are fundraising for a wide range of great initiatives that will enrich student life at Northlea(Ex. Forest of Reading, technology upgrades, art/drama enrichment, KM Club, sports equipment, etc). Contributions can be made online or using the pledge envelopes that will be available from Friday April 10th. The deadline for collection is Friday April 17th.  We are loosely setting a collection goal of $25/student but please work towards any goal that is achievable for your family.

Programs are available to students in Grades 1–8 and take place either at lunchtime or after school, running in 8-week sessions throughout the year.

We are thrilled to offer lunch-time and after-school programs starting the week of . These programs are offered for Grades 1 – 8 and include a variety of art, sports and STEM based programming. Programs are usually 8 weeks in length and run either from 11:05 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at lunch-time, or 3:05 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. after-school.

Extracurriculars are offered three times in a school year:

• Fall: October–December

• Winter: Mid-January–March

• Spring: Mid-April–Early June

Full schedules are available for registration within the first week of each term and course minimums do apply for certain courses to run. All schedules will be available on this website, together with details of the registration requirements and payment information.

These programs are offered through Home & School in partnership with independent organizations. They provide a wide variety of engaging activities. Courses include: music, arts, LEGO, robotics, sports, cooking, chess to name a few, and many more!

Lunch-time and After-school programs – Spring 2026

Programs will start the week of April 13 and run for 8 weeks.  The deadline for 2026 Spring programs is April 8th, 2026.

All programs will run pending TDSB permits and minimum class size requirement.

Please note: All students from gr 1 will be picked up from their classrooms by instructors as the bell rings for lunch break (11:05) or the end of the school (3:00). At the end of the lunch program (12:15), grade 1 students will be taken back to their classrooms by the instructors. Students from grade 2 and up will find their own way to the program location and back to their classrooms. Kids will eat their lunch at the program location prior to the start of the program.

All students in after school programs need to be picked up by their parents/caregivers at 4:15 at the program location. Parents of students in older grades (6-8) who walk home on their own, need to provide this information to the instructors.

Registration is first come, first serve.

The School Office cannot process any registrations, nor answer any questions on the courses.

It’s cookie time!

Northlea Elementary and Middle School is teaming up with Terra Cotta Cookies to bring you delicious, peanut and nut-free cookies you will love. Choose from 12 scrumptious cookie dough flavours, including two gluten-free choices and a vegan option! Each box contains 40 x 20g pre-formed “Dough Drops”. They come in compact boxes which are easily stored in your freezer to bake whenever that cookie craving hits. Bake as many or as few as you want, but trust us, you’ll want to stock up because once you taste them, they won’t last long! There is also an option for already baked shortbread in a lovely gift box, perfect for gift giving.

Cookie Dough Drop Boxes are $15.00 each, and Shortbread Gift Boxes are $10.00 each.

How to get in on the cookie action?

Our fundraiser is 100% online.

• Simply click on the “START SHOPPING” on the webpage popup from the button below, load up your cart with deliciousness, and stock up your freezer!
• Make sure your order is accurate in your cart. You can still add any items you may have missed. Don’t forget a Tote Bag to bring it all home.

• If you are ordering for a school fundraiser, enter the appropriate teacher’s name. Ask your seller (the person who sent you this link) for the teacher’s name if you are not sure of what it is.

How long is the fundraiser running?

The campaign kicks off on Feb 18 and wraps up on Mar 17. The ordering webpage closes at 11:59 p.m. on the final day.

When will we get the cookie dough?

You can pick-up your orders at Northlea Elementary and Middle School on March 31 between 2:30-3:30pm.

When picking up your order, please bring a bag to collect your cookies. Unless you have purchased a tote, bags will not be provided.

Ensure you get the product back into a freezer ASAP. Due to the frozen nature of the dough, this is crucial for maintaining its quality.
