Self-service available.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Amble Library will close at 1pm.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Rothbury Library will close at 1pm.</description></item><item><title>PUBLIC NOTICE: Unauthorised textile bank removed from Council-owned land</title><link>http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/Alerts.aspx#A51335</link><description>&lt;br/&gt;1 A textile bank bearing no company or charity name or any other identifying marks or contact details has come into the possession of the Council after having been found on a grass verge belonging to the Council at the junction of Southend Avenue and Chester Grove, Blyth.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2 The Council has now moved the container into safe storage as no consent had been given for it to be placed at that location.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;3 In accordance with the Council’s powers under section 41(5) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, it appears to the Council that it is impossible to serve a Notice under section 41(3) of the 1982 Act requiring the owner to collect the container since no ownership details were available.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;4 If the container is not collected from the Council, ownership of it will vest in the Council one month from the date of this notification.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;5 If you are the owner, you may claim it back from the Council by contacting:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Blythdepot@northumberland.gov.uk&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;and arranging to pay the Council’s costs incurred in looking after the container adequately.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;6 If ownership of the container vests in the Council after the period specified in paragraph 4 above, the Council may then sell or otherwise dispose of it.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;This notification is given on 3 June 2026</description></item><item><title>RIDLEY PARK WATER FEATURE: Ridley Park Water Feature</title><link>http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/Alerts.aspx#A51325</link><description>During busy periods the water feature will have to be turned off periodically through out the day for 20 minutes to be cleaned. Thank you for your patience. </description></item><item><title>ROAD ALERT: Beach Works Newbiggin</title><link>http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/Alerts.aspx#A51313</link><description>Beach management work is due to commence on Newbiggin beach from Monday the 8th of June 2026 until Friday the 12th of June 2026.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The work will include the use of heavy plant and machinery and will take place between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Members of the public are advised to exercise caution when they are in the area, with some sections of the beach not accessible whilst work is being carried out.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.</description></item></channel></rss>
