We believe in Nashville! Not only did we have a fantastic time performing our dueling pianos show in this beautiful city, we fell in love. Nashville is everything we imagined and more. Incredible history, friendly people and so much music. Every corner we turned there was an amazing live band. It was one of the best trips we have had in awhile.

We performed our dueling pianos show at the incredible Nelson's Green Brier Distillery for Alison & Dustin's reception. It was a great venue and an even greater party. There wasn't a designated dance floor, but that didn't stop the entire crowd from getting down all night. The floor was packed until the last song.

From the world-famous Las Vegas casinos (Harrah's, New York, New York, Paris) to casinos in Kansas City, Iowa and New England. The last few years we have brought our dueling pianos show to several of the Northwest casinos in Oregon and Washington. If you are looking for an exciting, fun idea for your next corporate event, we highly recommend a theme night. We have performed our dueling pianos show at several themed parties and it is such a blast! Here are a few ideas for your next shindig that we highly recommend:

80's Night

Have your guests dress, like, totally radical in their best 80's outfits. Encourage creativity with a costume contest during the night. You can have a make-up and crimping station for the ladies (and the dudes). Put fun 80's games throughout the venue like Connect Four and Rubik's Cubes. Have iconic 80's movies like 'Breakfast Club' or 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' playing on the side walls via a projector (with or without the sound). And, of course, the 80's was all about the music. Hire a band, Dueling Pianos or a DJ that will get the crowd singing and dancing to all their favorite 80's tunes. You just can't go wrong with songs like 'Don't Stop Believing' and 'Living on a Prayer.' So choice.

Disco Party

Have your guests put on their boogie shoes and get down with a groovy disco party. Decor can be so much fun for this them like glitter, gold and disco balls. Turn your party into a Studio 54 club. Have your guests get gussied up in their best bell-bottoms and halter tops. And make sure to have a great band or Dueling Pianos team to fill up the dance floor to let your guests show off their moves.

Speakeasy/Roaring 20's

Transport your guests to the grandest time for glitz and glamour with a Great Gatsby-esque party. Your options are endless for decor and costumes. This era is timeless so it won't be too difficult for your guests to dress the part. We have performed at several of these events and it so much fun. Two baby grand pianos fit this style like fringe on a flapper dress.

The Academy Awards

This theme works extremely well if your corporate event includes an awards ceremony. Make your guests feel like they are at the Oscars. Include a red carpet and paparazzi as they enter the venue. Decorate the venue like old Hollywood. Have an MC or 'host' that will treat the night like an awards show. For each award have Hollywood themed music as the award winner walks up to the stage. And finish the night with a Dueling Pianos show that will make everyone feel like a winner.

This weekend we performed our dueling pianos show for the American Family Insurance 'All-4-One' corporate event on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA. We have performed for AmFam several times and each time is more fantastic than the last. We were told that this group was conservative and would be tough to get going. But the crowd was ready to go from the second we hit the stage! They sang and danced the night away. We cannot wait for our next event with American Family Insurance in the Bahamas in June!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... This weekend we performed for the Urban Storage holiday party. This was our second time performing our dueling pianos show for this awesome group. We loved every moment...such a fun night. The party was at The Foundary by Herban Feast in Seattle, WA. This might be our new favorite venue in the Northwest. It was so beautiful and warm and absolutely put us in the holiday spirit.

Tonight we performed our dueling pianos show for THE social media company in San Jose, CA. The party was at the new Levi Stadium where the 49ers play. And what a party it was! With 10,000 guests in attendance, the was something for everyone. We performed in the VIP section for the top execs...it was a crazy, fun night! Awesome requests including a Disney superset and a musical superset. Songs like Mario Brothers theme song and Pokemon were huge hits. We loved this killer event and hope to get to do it again.

This Sunday we partnered with The Traveller, Inc to bring our dueling pianos show to the Seahawks pre-game NFL sponsor party. It was so much fun. The lead up to the party was a bit unique...it was initially planned as a tailgate style event in a large outdoor tent. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was for typhoon like winds so it all had to be moved indoors last minute. Thankfully the team at National Event Pros worked their magic and put on a killer event indoors.

Even though it was a bit surreal to be performing at 11:00am, we had a blast. We hope to work with the NFL again soon!

Saturday night we brought our dueling pianos show to the JCM Northlink coporate party in Seattle. The setting was superb taking place at The Golf Club at Newcastle. We so enjoyed performing for the 450 people working hard to bring light rail to the city of Seattle. It was a fantastic show full of great requests, laughter and so much singing.

Last night we performed our dueling pianos show for the COMTEC conference at Union Station in Kansas City, MO. This was our second time performing for this group and, once again, we had a blast! Union Station is an incredible venue and just large enough to accommodate the nearly 1,000 audience members. We always love performing for large groups like this. Often people think of dueling pianos working only in a small format setting. But when you have the right combination of a good set up and a team experienced with large audiences, it is a match made in heaven.

We brought our Dueling Pianos Dance Party Package to Kansas City for this event. It's such a great show...especially for these large crowds. We begin the night with our traditional, all-request dueling pianos show. Then half-way through the evening, we invite our musicians on stage and open up the dance floor. It is truly two shows in one. We are always excited to play with our guys who both come from Los Angeles - Chris Vazquez on guitar and Glen Schricker on drums.

We were scheduled to perform three shows for American Family Insurance at the historic Greenbrier Resort. Due to the devastating floods in West Virginia, the Greenbrier has temporarily closed and AFI had to cancel the conferences. This week was one for the books. We have not performed our dueling pianos show on ships in over 8 years and we just completed a week cruise, performing as the entertainment for a Liberty Mutual Insurance charter cruise. And to top it off, we docked next to the Disney ship we met on! (Added bonus: we had a room with a veranda!)

There just aren't adequate words to explain how amazing this experience was...exploring pristine ports and islands (Miami, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, San Juan); indulging in endless (and limitless) food and beverages; hanging with musical legends (Don Felder from the Eagles!); and sharing our show with awesome audiences. There aren’t many places in the world that rival the beauty of Alaska. And the lovely town of Valdez, AK is a perfect example of this natural wonder. We performed our dueling pianos show for the second year at the Prince William Sound College fundraiser. This event is so much fun – and boy do the Valdez people love their music! We had so many requests it was impossible to get to them all…but we sure tried! We helped raise a great deal of money for the college by incorporating the tip aspect of a dueling pianos show.

Shows don’t get much better than this. We brought our dueling pianos show to the annual Stampin’ Up! conference in Salt Lake City, UT. Imagine…600 creative women (and 5 men) singing at the top of their lungs, clapping in perfect rhythm, and laughing uncontrollably. That was our awesome night. We were so thankful to be a part of such a fun event! There were so many highlights of the night – 600 female voices belting out Metallica…standing ovation for Bohemian Rhapsody…a sea of cellphone lights during Journey…the list goes on. We always like performing in Vegas. Correction…we love performing in Vegas. And this time was no exception. We took our dueling pianos show to the beautiful Wynn/Encore Casino for the Hartford Insurance National Sales Meeting. And boy was it a blast! This holiday season we brought our dueling pianos show to the lovely state of Texas for the YPO holiday party. It was an incredible event at the Midtown Arts & Theater Center (MATCH). The setting was a winter wonderland and boy was it beautiful! This was our 4th event with this group – previous shows were in Virginia Beach, Las Vegas, and Seattle. It was a perfect night with great requests, singing, dancing and the night ending with the entire audience surrounding the pianos and belting out Bohemian Rhapsody.

Each year we are lucky to perform for several Microsoft events throughout the Pacific Northwest. In December, we brought our dueling pianos show to Microsoft’s Developer Division holiday party in Bellevue. These self-proclaimed ‘awesome nerds’ were, in fact, awesome. Last week we performed for the fantastic organization Stronger Families. It was their 17th Annual Fall Dinner celebration and fundraiser. Now we are normally the headliner for each event that we perform at. However, this one was different. The organization was able to get Taya Kyle (the wife of American Sniper, Chris Kyle) to be the keynote speaker. She was inspirational and genuine. Her story was perfect for this organization that promotes strength in marriages and families…particularly with military families.

We were honored to be a part of this great celebration and hope to further our relationship with Stronger Families. What’s better than a married dueling pianos team to perform for an organization that supports marriages?

Vegas, baby! We always love the chance to bring our dueling pianos show to Las Vegas. After all, it is one of the entertainment capitals of the world. Although we have performed in all of the famous dueling piano rooms on the strip (New York, New York, Harrah’s, Paris, etc), now when we head to sin city it is for awesome corporate events like this one. We performed for the FAA Managers Association convention at the Southpointe Casino. Not only did we have the best time, we worked with the best event planners at Hourglass Events.
