The capacity for hope is the most significant fact of life. It provides human beings with a sense of destination and the energy to get started.

-Norman Cousins

NuAfrica has HOPE…

it’s destination was Mali, Africa.

They got started…..

and their energy is still alive in the Malian people…..

days after their departure.

NuAfrica’s energy and determination is providing HOPE all the way across the world….

And this is why….once you are there, immersed in the Malian life, you begin to understand Every life is Equal.

This is what a senior at Guerin High School had to say about his trip to Mali, Africa.

“One word has been ringing in my head this entire trip; cleansing. Not because I had a desire to wash the dirt off, but because this trip has renewed my mind. All of the tedious things I worried about back home have been washed off and my mind has turned to more significant and perennial things. I came here to learn and to serve, but through my journey, these beautiful people have done me an invaluable service and taught me more than I could have ever imagined.

These people want us. They don’t need us necessarily, but they are filled with joy and wonder whenever they see us. These people aren’t greedy thieves or needy animals. They are PEOPLE. They want to be treated they way any other HUMAN would want to be treated.”

Very well written Jack!!!! Congratulations to YOU and the rest of NuAfrica for making a difference in this world!!!

He was moved and inspired to make a STAND4WATER. On July 4th weekend, Saturday 2011, at the Noblesville, IN farmer’s market, Garyn sold cups of water. His efforts raised awareness of the water problem and collected over $800 donations. 100% of the proceeds he made will help dig solar-powered Well #2 in Mali, Africa this year. Thank you Garyn and Supporters for changing over 100 lives forever. Instead of walking for dirty water, villagers will be able to go to the Badinko Village School tap, turn it on, and get clean water. Thousands of people, just like us, will be healthier. Women and children will have more time to attend school, grow food, take care of family, and work towards achieving their hopes and dreams.
