Coming this June is a project produced to the quality and polished detail we've already become accustomed to in the production of Scanone's music. The Yellow Machine's boss has commissioned 13 directors to put video to a selection of previously unreleased tracks in this DVD out in June titled 'Archive'.

A collection of 13 previously unreleased audio tracks taken from ten years of Scanone's production archive.

These tracks have then been worked on visually by a selection of talented artists, directors and visual collectives creating short films, promos and visuals.

We all know Paul Blackford intimitely for his sub bass 160bpm power beat, here in two original tracks for Tudor Beats, we see another side to the techno bass purveyor as the synths take centre stage over the drum machines. On the remix Screwtec and label boss Tudor Acid both rework title track 'Dream Sequence' but it really is TA's version that offeres something interesting, injecting some fountain acid into the melody hook.

Here's the latest audio visual work from Dublin based duo Lakker featuring snippets of a few of the new tracks from their forthcoming release 'Arc EP' on Blueprint records announced today by James Ruskin on his blog. Tracks played in the video are: BKRO, Flunky, ED, Arc, Evening Lemon.

They've also announced some gigs for the calendar March 17th at Macronite, Limerick and May 4th at Surge, Dublin, 7th April at Twisted Pepper, Dublin. More TBA keep an eye on their Facebook page for more updates.

And we're back...sorry for the downtime issues paying for hosting thanks to some phoney transactions on our account. Anyway a couple of weeks ago The Quietus gave Dead Sound and Videohead some well deserved airtime. It was all to herald the arrival of their latest EP 'Murder' out on Perc Trax - they're also working on launching their own imprint soon so watch this space for more info on that.
