A powerful magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck Nepal on April 25, near the city of Kathmandu. It caused widespread destruction across the region.

HDD 100% activity issue. How to fix it

I have a notebook and for some time I fought against a hard disk to 100% of constant use on Windows. Always convinced that the problem was related to some bad sectors on the hard disk.
I used a very good software to repair bad sectors called HDD Regenerator: I really effective has fixed bad sectors (you must buy a license of course). But the problem is not solved: the hard disk was still at 100% utilization for no reason, just turned on the computer, 2-3 software loaded on startup, nothing more.

Researching on the internet I found the problem and for me it worked.
How I did it?

Try going on local services (type services.msc in the Run window, or on windows8 the search bar). When the window is open, search for the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) and stop it.

Problem solved! Now the hard disk finally not always under stress.

My final advice can be summarized thus:

Keep constantly monitored the health of your system by keeping up to date, if you already are not doing it, the Antivirus software.
Please, always make a Backup copy of the files on your computer by purchasing an External Hard Disk or if you are in the mood to buy, directly a NAS solution.
