Ten incoming Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) students were each awarded a $4,000 scholarship by Apple Federal Credit Union (FCU). Of the ten students, seven currently participate in the Pathway to the Baccalaureate program. The announcement took place at a special breakfast honoring all of the scholarship recipients on May 23 at the Waterford Hotel in Fair Oaks, Va.

On May 30 at 9 a.m., representatives from Northern Virginia Family Service and Northern Virginia Community College will officially open a new site to expand the nationally recognized Training Futures program into Prince William County.
