I've been rejected, and it kinda stings. This year, the powers that be at Burning Man decided to hold a ticket 'lottery' for the distribution of tickets for the event. I entered, and as you can see, did not 'win'. It's turned into a clusterfuck of a system. This has so turned me off of the event, that I doubt I'll even attempt to get a ticket...mainly out of principle.

Ya screwed up Burning Man folks!

In Indiana, where I'm from, everything is called coke. For example, if I go to a fast food restaurant, I order a coke, the server asks 'what kind,' and I would then reply 'Dr. Pepper.' Makes NO sense at all, but that's how things work in Indiana.

I'm sitting here by the window in my living room listening to rain fall outside. I have to get out and go to an audition this afternoon, but for now I'm perfectly content staying inside. I don't enjoy traipsing around the city in the rain. Really, any weather elements other than sunshine make this city dreadful to get around in. Add umbrellas and puddles to the already crowded sidewalks of NYC and getting from point A to point B becomes a dreadful experience.

I hope it's sunny where you are!

What did liberals do that was so offensive to the Republican Party? I’ll tell you what they did.

Liberals got women the right to vote.
Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote.
Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty.
Liberals ended segregation.
Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act.
Liberals created Medicare.
Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act.

What did Conservatives do? They opposed them on every one of those things, every one.

So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, ‘Liberal,’ as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won’t work, because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor.

I don't follow sports at all, so the only reason I know of this man is because of the Sandusky scandal. While I'm all for mourning the loss of life, I have trouble wrapping my head around the way people are putting this man on a pedestal. The man DID NOTHING when he found out about Sandusky's molestation of young boys, essentially enabling the evil man to continue preying on children. All the news publications are reporting that this man's legacy outweighs his scandal. Excuse me?!? He may have done great things for sports, but to me this man is just as evil as Sandusky. I have to wonder if he would be looked at differently if he was turning a blind eye to the ongoing molestation of little girls. This is a sick sick fucking country.
