If you do happen to find an opportunity to include words that are within your post’s URL link and description as well as it being a relevant title for your post, that is a great opportunity to get your post ranked high through out the search engines. People may call this keyword density, however, keyword density is another issue we will talk about later in another day.

The only benefit that I would see fit for link exchanges at this moment of time, is to be used for exposure, other than that, I see no reason why a link should be dofollow unless it is to cite a resource. 4. Forums – Everyone has different opinions on certain subject matters. Creating a user generated community with valuable discussions can easy stem off to further topics, which can then cause more debates and in turn, become a valid reason for other webmasters to point links back at your site.
5. Write About Interesting Stuff - If you got a good piece to write about that is of the publics’ interest, it can be a great way to gain exposure as well as be a great opportunity to get more link backs.

My experience with PPC and PPL

Pay per click was often inconsistent for me. In my end, PPL to me was a lot more profitable as well as consistent in terms of generating a X about of money per day. Often times with PPC, one day I might get a click worth $2 and maybe the next $0.30. PPL lays out a flat rate for every lead you generate – there is no negotiation. I’m sorry if I am sounding a bit more biased to PPL, it is because pay per lead has always been, even in the rainy days, the better performing method of monetizing for me. Although it may take a bit of experimentation before you find that perfect affiliate program, it is well worth the time and effort experimenting. Because in the long run, you could be benefiting a lot more.

But before you decide which affiliate program to use, you must first decide: Is your website a small audience that is targeted on a certain matter? Or is your site a busy site filled with hundreds of thousands of visitors every month and is less originates to one particular niche? If you can answer that question, you can already guess which method of monetizing is best to test first for your site.

Although you are not limited to only these methods of monetizing because there are a lot more methods of monetizing such as pay per sale or pay per impression, it is also sometimes a good idea to mix and mash the ideas together and benefit from both worlds. As long as you believe that the two forms of monetizing don’t cross each other, meaning they don’t take away anything from each other in terms of performance, it is a good idea to use both forms of monetizing. My end result with my experimentation is that pay per lead lies more on the quality interest of visitors and pay per click relies more on quantity and placement of the ads. Ideally, I would say, they both have their fundamental uses. It no longer a strange sight seeing a small site with a quality audience making as much as a site with hundreds of thousands of visitors. It is really up to you how you monetize your site to it’s full potential with what audience you currently have and continuing to funnel more quality visitors. As in every business model, experimentation is key to maximizing profits.

• In essence, quality content will be a factor that every web owner should show the most effort on.
• Simply keep your readers posted that you are somewhat active. Offer some sort of service that says to your readers that your active.  Social networking accounts such as Twitter and Digg accounts are great examples of showing activity to your readers.
• Think to your self about what keeps your readers engaged and what are they most interested in. Having incentives or events now and then are a great way to spark enlightenment to your community.
• Share, communicate as you would with any group in general. Your biggest priorities is to maintain and engage readers for them to have a reason to stay and continue to come back.

Maintaining a site and engaging your readers is the key to containing targeted traffic. It is sort of like building with Lego pieces. You must keep your readers engage and ready to go or else after a while, they will get bored of the same pieces and leave.

Don’t let these mistakes happen to you. There are so many things that can be misleading and understanding the concept as to why you should avoid them is step one. Making a profit is step two.

Poor Writing

Poor writing is one of the most common mistakes that most new businesses make because they don’t want to spend on hiring a good sales page writer. You have probably heard about affiliate programs on pages like Amazon and Shopzilla, but what really is affiliate marketing and how can I use affiliate marketing to my own advantage?

Affiliate marketing is probably the most common revenue earners for blog owners. There are potentially three basic affiliate payouts, pay per click, pay per sale, and pay per lead. Each with it’s own individual aspect of potentially earning lots.

Pay Per Click (PPC) – PPC is the most commonly used payout method among bloggers. You have probably heard of big publisher companies such as Google Adsense or Chikita, they are examples of affiliate PPC. It is as it sounds, whenever a viewer clicks on your advertisements, you generate revenue.

Pay Per Sale – Pay per sale is probably the most well known due to Amazon’s successful affiliate program, which rocket launched the campaign of pay per sale marketing. You refer friends or family members through your affiliate link and you generate a certain percentage of revenue from the product you techniqually sold.

Pay Per Lead – Pay per lead is probably the most tactical method of them all. Generally pay per leads are used to build up memberships to a new web page, and to furthermore promote their site. If you ever sign up for a pay per lead affiliate, your objective is to refer friends. Nowadays people refer pay per lead as referral programs instead, and whenever you sucessfully refer a friend, you usually generate some typical payout for each referral.

Affiliate marketing is what it is described in the illustration above. Basically you act as the sales men and you are promoting a company’s product in return for some commission with per pay per lead, pay per click, or pay per whatever. It is a commonly used tactic for one with daily readers to monetize their site; like for example, I use Google Adsense to generate some revenue via pay per click.

The right promotion and audience is the key to earning lots from affiliate marketing. Everyone has different tactics and techniques with strings attached to affiliate marketing. Some say mixing in PPC and pay per lead is the best, and some say pay per sale and pay per lead is the best. Affiliate marketing is a miss and match game that you can play with. Everyone has different results, so it is up to a person’s own judgement to say which is the best money earner for them selves. There is really no wrong method to earning with affiliate marketing, but rather which is the right equiped for your site.

Although, I don’t do this much and only lead readers to a link and a presentation, I believe the presentation will be as good as a full blown article. Although, I don’t genuinely approve of autoblogs due to most of the content being content scrapped off another person’s blog, there are some great tips that we can learn from them one way or another.

First Off, What Are Autoblogs?

Autoblogs is usually a simple network of blogs used to generate income through PPC programs like Google Adsense and many others, but the only thing different is that it is completely automatic. This means, the blog will be self managed without the blog owner having to do anything. The content the autoblogs get are usually “scraped” off another person’s blog through their RSS feed. As I have said above that I don’t genuinely approve of autoblogs, simply because it clutters the search engines even more and it is somewhat pointless to republish the same thing over and over again, however, there are some great values that we can learn from them. (In addition to how Google treats autoblogs, quality blogs with unique content will always rank better in the long run)

What Makes Autoblogs Simply Work

There are some values that should be told from autoblogs, to making a better blog. Here are some.

• Autoblog provides content daily, which search engines love. Lesson learned is that you should post blog posts now and then.
• The difference from an autoblog from a regular blog is that a regular blog has unique content, and that is what Google loves the most. Content is king as some would say.
• They stick to their theme, their niche. Their blog is focused only on one particular theme.
• If autoblogs can make money, regular blogs can as well. This speaks out to people who are skeptical on whether or not a blog can make money.
• Any content is better than nothing. Autoblogs simply scrap contents off other blogs now and then to show activity to Google. Simple posts now and then don’t hurt either.
• Another difference from an autoblog to a regular blog is that, it simply doesn’t build a community. If people see you are too lazy to even make a post and are using other people’s content, why would they subscribe to read about a blog that scraps content off another person’s blog? In essence, regular blogs will always be more prominent than any network of autoblogs in terms of quality and building a community.

In saying, autoblogs simply conveys that content is king and tells us that content should be thought about and revised if any. Any content is better than nothing as they would say and should be top quality.

Email marketing services that provide autoresponders and more provide Internet marketers the ability to decode their audience and learn statistically what works for their audience and what doesn’t to pitch only to the methods that work statistically, but there is a slight problem to email marketing. Many webmasters know it is no easy game to become an authority site. It takes lots of commitment, hard work, and almost impossible for lone webmasters who have a low budget. An authority site in Google’s eyes is a site with a lot of indexed pages. When I say a lot, I mean a lot and has a high page rankings. Ideally most authority sites have page rankings over 6 and already have additional sitemaps on their Google listings.
