What’s Your Reflex?

Sometimes we must take a break and wait for the words to play out.. see the truth in duration of time passed. Much like guessing an outcome of a game, but waiting to watch until it can fully be replayed.

Some people choose to live like how athletes play- making millisecond judgments based on numerous factors and stimuli all entering the mind at the exact same time; sports analysts observe athletes repeating tendencies and responses, and bring it to attention, thus improving their quality of play. One could conclude that the best a player can become is one who is aware of their reflexes and acts against them to create a better play or one with more advantageous opportunities.

Once we’ve stopped pausing to reflect is when our game stops improving.

Came Across Some Writing

I wrote this about 2.5 years ago and as I was re-reading it, found the power in it just as strong as before.

“Doors open and close, paths cross, and the significance of each meeting may not be revealed until years to come. But, as people striving to understand behaviour and personal choices, we reflect and confront. Sometimes we find answers, other times more questions, and then also, answers in our questions. To not ask is to accept and things are never as they seem. To question is to learn, increase value in yourself and relationships by discovering untapped / unlimited potential. Have you grown to be all that you can be? “
