I suppose me not wishing harm means I have grown up a bit :shock:

As for Rain, I thought it was Del at the start but it became obvious he wasn't. Forgot about the webcam and collection bit about Del, he's a year or 2 older than me ffs. Last I heard of him his drinking problem put him hospital and he wasn't doing well. (I may have exaggerated something there) :shock:

Better LP: BE-"DGSS" vs. NGHFB

I can't believe this would ever even be debate-worthy, honestly, because I think Noel's debut is a stratospherically better album than Beady Eye's debut, as do most music magazines/critics I've read.

That said, one of my "bros" whose taste I generally have massive respect for (Jesus "Chuy" Arreola...can't remember his username on here for whatever reason...dude w/ the Longhorns avatar) somehow thinks Beady Eye is the better album.

The only way I can even conceive the Beady Eye argument is that it is plausibly a better "concept album", and it obviously has more songs.

Otherwise, I think Noel's debut is the best album pound-for-pound, front-to-back listen that any Gallagher has produced since What's the Story?

Least Favorite Oasis Album

DOYS was f***ed up by not having Boy With The Blues, Record Machine (Liam vocals) and something similar to the live version of To Be Where There's Life (or the Richard Fearless version) I Believe In All could also have been fitted better than the last few songs. You'd have been looking at a toss up between that and BHN for the 3rd best Oasis album then IMO

First track with AA to be released

Why are IIHAG and TDOY&M included on the AA album and not STC and Record Machine?

I understand the first two may be better overall songs but seeing as how IIHAG+TDOYAM are ballads and STC+RM are more on the psychedelic/instrumental side, I would think that there would be as much potential for AA to rework/exploit the latter two as any.

Quite frankly, while I'm glad Noel did Stop the Clocks himself for NGHFB' debut, I'm a bit disappointed that RM never got Liam's vocal work and perhaps a bit more frenetic/expanded instrumental treatment...just didn't seem as psychedelic as it could have been.

All I have to say. I have been on soapbox and live4ever forums for years. Like I said people grown up, aged, and changed. My life is pretty busy most the time. I always will have a soft spot for this place.

Nice to see Paul back.. Mega! I remembered his VW bug.

People say what they want and this is my only account and I can not register my original account, which is Rain, and when I moved I signed up this username, because I have soft spot in my heart for this place. Posting live4ever always felt odd to me. While my actions back then, maybe out there and I was immature. When I joined I was 20 or 21.. I will hit 29 years old this year. Everyone changes from 20 to 29 and mature in life.

Welshie hope your life is full of happiness and warmth.

I have been with my girlfriend for 3 years and we been house hunting lately. With Noel gallagher news and all. Brought me back here.
