7 Nights of Worship required an incredible commitment from hundreds of people in our church. Each night has a great team of people greeting, praying, caring for and teaching kids, providing hospitality or tech support, and leading worship. The Host Pastors lead these teams and provide pastoral care and oversight to all in attendance. We’d like you to get to know them better so we interviewed them. Check out a picture and their answers below.

Steve Card – Co-Host, Sunday Night
Your Hometown: Burlington, MA
What do you do for a living?: Quality Control Scientist
What was your first job?: Landcaper
What is your favorite food?: Seafood
What was the first concert you ever went to?: Asia
Who is the most influential person in your life?: Second to Christ would be my wife, Kim, as she is the person who led me to Christ.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Probably Joseph as he demonstrated his faith and God-given strength to overcome many battles and forgave all of his enemies.

Gustavo Giraldo – Co-Host, Sunday Night
Your Hometown: Pereira, Colombia
What do you do for a living?: I work as a Chaplain for Vitas Hospice Care
What was your first job?: My first job was as an Industrial Psychology Counselor in a Multi-National company
What is your favorite food?: A famous Colombian plate called Bandeja Paisa
What was the first concert you ever went to?: It was in Colombia and I went to see a famous singer of the time, Rafael of Spain.
Who is the most influential person in your life?: My grandmother Rosa influenced me the most because she is a woman of honor, honesty, compassion and she loved God above all.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Abraham because of his decision to obey God unconditionally.

Herald Adlet – Host Pastor – Monday Night
Your Hometown: Pembroke Pines, FL, born and raised
What do you do for a living?: Fire Fighter/Paramedic
What was your first job?: Installing carpet in hotels
What is your favorite food?: Publix subs
What was the first concert you ever went to?: Jazz band concert
Who is the most influential person in your life?: It would be Chris Hughes. We have been woking together since I was in high school. He’s a great role model and has had a huge impact in my life.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Moses. It takes a great man to step out of a place of power and riches to reclaim his heritage and live for God.

Johhny Guimaraes – Host Pastor – Tuesday Night
Your Hometown: Newark, NJ
What do you do for a living?: Internal Auditor/Accountant
What was your first job?: Estimator for a construction comapny
What is your favorite food?: Anything Italian
What was the first concert you ever went to?: Billy Joel
What is the most influential person in your life?: My wife, Elizabeth. Her support is unwavering and I can trust her to always keep me focused and grounded.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Joseph because although bad things happen to him, he kept his faith in God, and everything eventually worked out. It gives me hope during the storms that a clear sky is not too far off and that God has a plan for each of us.

James Brown – Host Pastor – Wednesday Night
Your hometown: Garland, Texas
What was your first job?: Mowing lawns
What is your favorite food?: Tex-Mex
What was the first concert you ever went to?: John Denver
Who is the most influential person in your life?: My wife Debby! She has helped me to see what my potential in life is more than any other person.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Joseph

Ron Remer – Co-Host Pastor – Thursday Night
Your Hometown: Hollywood, FL since 1945
What do you do for a living?: Business Leader, FPL
What was your first job?: Paper boy
What is your favorite food?: Meatloaf
What was the first concert you ever went to?: It was so long ago, I can’t remember!
Who is the most influential person in your life?: Jesus, He changed my life. Also my Dad, he taught me to be a man.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: Joseph, he accepted his circumstances being from God.

Fish Figueroa – Co-Host Pastor – Friday Night
Your Hometown: I was born in Chicago but raised in Yonkers, NY
What do you do for a living?: I am a Behavioral Specialist (Counselor) for Sheridan House Family Ministries.
What was your first job? I painted over graffiti in city parks for a “summer youth employment program”.
What is your favorite food? Definitely steak
What was the first concert you ever went to?: Carmen (the Christian artist) in 1998
Who is the most influential person in your life?: That would be B.J. FRED. Other than Christ, there are a number of men God provided in my life to be mentors and “father figures”. I refer to them as “B.J. FRED”. This is the pseudo name I have given them after jumbling their first initials into one name.
Who is your favorite Bible character?: That would be Joseph. He did what was right before God regardless of the consequences. He is considered, by some, to be the most Christ-like person in the Bible, other than Christ.

7Now Riders (Fellowship Riders – 7NOW) – is an affiliate of Fellowship Riders and a ministry of Oasis Church that fosters Christian fellowship among men and women who love Jesus Christ and have a passion for motorcycles. Our mission is to share the love of Christian fellowship, motorcycles and the local church through safety, excellence, community, and service. We work to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship through frequent, safe, and well-organized group motorcycle rides, prayer, community, and service to those in need in the name of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Starting August 18 we will kick-off our Angel Tree pre-Christmas campaign. We will start collecting toys to take to the Wheels of Grace Unity Ride in Lakeland on September 15th. We will continue with this initiative once the Christmas season starts and then deliver these gifts directly to the kids as a ministry activity.
