Pending the launch of weekly services at Regal Hadley Cinema on September 15, in addition to already existing services at Snuffy’s Pantagis Sundays 11:00am, monthly services at the Regal will be May 5, June 2, June 30, July 28, August 25.

Non-Denominational NJ Churches Are Cool!

Looking for a NJ nondenominational Christian church? At Oasis we operate as a non-denominational NJ church in central New Jersey, but are proud to be part of the Christian Missionary Alliance. Yet, there are apparently many folks out there that are a “little” confused as to what makes up non-denominational church beliefs. Today I spoke with a nice Roman Catholic woman who thought a non-denominational church taught something a akin to agnosticism! A day before that I had a delightful conversation with an Orthodox Jew who was sure that non-denominational churches espouse universalism and anti-semitism. Man! I think a little clarification is in order, don’t you?

NJ Non-Denominational Church Definition

Basically a non-denominational church is an autonomous congregation that does not officially align itself with any denomination like Methodists, Baptists or Lutherans, for example, but may in fact have similar beliefs to those sects. Conversely, there are also many non-denominational churches which hold completely independent and unique beliefs from any other sect.

As far as Oasis Church is concerned, we are an evangelical NJ church that boldly confesses our belief in the Nicene Creed, which is the most widely accepted and used statement of the Christian Faith. By the way, this happens to be the same document I had to memorize in Sister Margarita’s class when I attended attended Catholic School back in the day of pull off ties.

Therefore, Oasis Church is a NJ nondenominational church that holds onto to traditional Christian beliefs, but chooses to express them in a contemporary, culturally relevant way. We meet in two locations.: weekly at Snuffy’s Pantagis at 250 Park Ave in Scotch Plains and monthly at the Regal Hadley Cinema in South Plainfield (May 5, June 2, June 30, July 28, August 25) leading up to our September 15 weekly launch.

So if you are seeking for a newly forming church of imperfect but real people where the music rocks, casual rules and the message hits you right where you’re “at”, well I suppose we’re the non-denominational church in NJ you’ve been lookin’ for. Click here for our times and services.

Oasis Church-Regal Hadley Cinema Launch Team Holding Car Wash

Oasis-Church-NJ.com, a two year old casual Christian church in Central Jersey, will be sponsoring a car wash Saturday April 27, 2013 at the AppleBees Restaurant located at 1282 Centennial Ave in Piscataway. The car wash will take place form 10:AM to 2:PM, with donations /proceed be given to FISH, an area non-profit that helps to feed and house the poor and homeless in the Middlesex County NJ area. The event is being hosted by the Oasis Church Regal Hadley Cinema Launch Team, which is spearheading the launching of church’s second location at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater in South Plainfield.

Oasis celebrated it’s first ever Easter Sunday morning service at the theater with over 400 people in attendance. Easter started the beginning of monthly services at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium (05.05.13, 06.02.13, 06.30.13,07.28.13, 08.25.13) leading up to our weekly launch on 09.15.13 of this second site. Worship experience times remain at 10AM SHARP.

Launch of weekly services at the Regal Hadley Cinema is slated for September 15, 2013, with the next Sunday Morning service scheduled for May 5, 2013 at 10:AM at the Regal Cinema. According to Dave Butler, Lead Pastor at Oasis, having a church service in a movie theater is a great way to break through barriers that keep people way from church because it “meets them where they’re at.” If you are looking for a church that is casual yet serious about finding out more about God, then this is the place to be.

Oasis is a new & exciting contemporary Christian church with a relevant and biblical message for people today. Month;y services at this location will be June 30, Jukly 28, August 25 and september. From Sept. 15 on, worship experiences at the regal Hadley Cinema Theate will be weekly.

Please come join Oasis-Church-NJ.com on June 2, 2013 10AM sharp as we celebrate Christmastime church services for the whole family at this fun and unique location at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium located at 1000 Corporate Ct in South Plainfield This worship experience will only be the second time Oasis has been at the Regal Hadley Theater as it builds up toward weekly services here in 2013, and it will be an awesome time for everyone of all ages.

According to Dave Butler, Lead Pastor at Oasis, there will be awesome contemporary worship, a heart felt message on how God can renew the mess in this world, hot cider, cinnamon donuts, Christmas treats and a chance to meet new friends in a new and growing church. Nursery will be provided and our Oasis Kids programs is awesome and safe. We will even be renting two theaters (#4,and 5) just for them. ”

Oasis is a two year old Bible believing NJ contemporary Christian church that seeks to make a positive influence in our surrounding communities. For example, Oasis has been very involved in Hurricane Sandy Relief and Cleanup and has is attracting multiple dozens of volunteers thru the church and its internet presence. Oasis is also collecting non-perishable goods for all needy in this holiday season. Oasis Church Attracted Around 700 People on Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday Oasis-Church-NJ.com attracted over 700 people from all over the NY Metro Area at its two sites located at Snuffy’s Pantagis Renaissance, 250 Park Ave in Scotch Plains, and the Regal Hadley Cinema Movie Theater at 1000 Corporate Ct in South Plainfield. Many families came with their kids to enjoy services and a chance to get their kids a picture with Easter Bunny. Most people found Oasis through it’s website, online video services and affiliate sites that together attract over 100,000 visits worldwide each month.

Easter marked the very first time the church met in two locations. The church currently meets Sundays 10:30am at the Scotch Plains locale, and monthly at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium (05.05.13, 06.02.13, 06.30.13,07.28.13, 08.25.13) heading up to weekly launch on September 15. Single Parent Families

Are ou lookinThis may surprise you: There are now more single parent families (30%) in the US than two parent family households (24%). Yet, most churches continue to give a backseat to single parent families as the traditional nuclear family remains the primary ministry focus. This remains true even in NJ where single parent families (families run by single parents) have increased more than four times as fast as married-couple families since 2000.

According to our extensive online survey of singles and church attendance, the above facts leaves many single parents feeling like “second class citizens” and a large majority end up avoiding church all together. How sad!

Additionally, there are many difficulties surrounding being a parent, single or married, in the 21st Century, and this is one of the reasons we are beginning a 4 week Parenting Seminar Series beginning 7.17.11 at 11am at Oasis Church located at Hotel 304 West, Rt 22 W in Springfield.

At Oasis Church, one of our primary ministry goals is to minister equally to singles, single parent families and married couples. Therefore, if you are a single parent looking for a good church or support group in the Central NJ area, we want you to know that there is a place for you and your children at the OC in NJ.
