The Pussycat Dolls singer – who is renowned for her stunning slender figure – has tried a number of different strict eating plans but is unable to restrain her urges to eat calorific treats once she relaxes her food rules.

She said: “I’ve tried every diet out there and they don’t work, because eventually the diet ends and I want the foods that I restrain myself from eating.

“It’s about having everything in moderation as long as you’re staying active. I also try not to eat late at night, not after 7pm if I can help it.”

Nicole – who was born in Hawaii and also lived in the US from the age of six – also said she found it difficult being a part of raunchy pop group Pussycat Dolls and wearing revealing outfits because of her strict upbringing.

She explained: “I come from a Catholic background that was very conservative, so I wasn’t comfortable showing off my body and was very self conscious about myself. But I learned to deal with that.

“I was much harder on myself when I was younger and that’s changed now that I’ve matured.”

“JLo is riding a scooter in public in Cuba, while talking to the camera and numerous by-standers, with her privates in as plain view asParis Hilton, Britany Spears and Lindsay Lohan have in the past,” said Ed Meyer, a rep for Lopez’s ex-hubby.

“This is among other nudity on her part in the now 21 hours of home movies, that we have so far recovered.”

Now THAT visual would get my ass into the movie theater to see one of Jennifer’s movies again.

Troubled singer Fantasia Barrino has stunned fans by confessing she aborted her married lover’s baby before attempting suicide in August.

The former American Idol winner survived a drug overdose and shocked fans by revealing the scare wasn’t an accident – she meant to take her own life.

And now, the R&B star has revealed she aborted boyfriend Antwaun Cook’s baby in the weeks leading up to her suicide.

Barrino was in court in North Carolina on Monday facing charges from Cook’s wife Paula that she was responsible for the breakdown of her marriage.

The singer testified that not only did she know Cook was married when she started dating him, but that she aborted their child.
Barrino had previously denied knowledge of Cook’s marital status.

Paula Cook is suing both her estranged husband and his lover, alleging the pair engaged in a year-long affair, which ended her marriage. Cook is reportedly considering suing Barrino by the Alienation of Affection law, which is only recognised in North Carolina and six other states. The law allows for an abandoned spouse to sue the party responsible for the failed marriage.

Writer-director Matthew Wilder says his production team is in negotiations with another actress and will make an announcement soon.

Some media reports say the 24-year-old starlet quit to focus on her court-ordered rehab for drug addiction; others say Wilder wanted her replaced.

The “Mean Girls” star is expected to be in rehab in southern California until at least Jan. 3.

Oscar winner Hollywood star Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman), the recent convert to Hinduism, says "Diwali should be celebrated unanimously throughout the world as a gesture of goodwill".

In her "Diwali wishes", published on the website of India's leading English daily The Times of India dated November 3rd, Roberts adds that essence of both Christmas and Diwali is the same as both "are festivals of lights, good spirits and death of evil".

Roberts further points out that Diwali (Hindu festival which falls on November 5th) "not only belongs to Hinduism but is universal in nature and in its essence too. Diwali ignites the values of self confidence, love for humanity, peace, prosperity and above all eternity which goes beyond all mortal factors… When I think of Diwali, I can never imagine a world broken into fragments by narrow feelings of communalism and religion which does not care for human benevolence."

"Ever since I developed my liking and fondness for Hinduism, I have been attracted and deeply fascinated by many facets of the multi dimensional Hinduism… spirituality in it transcends many barriers of mere religion", Roberts stated. Talking of India, she promised "to return to this sacred land again and again for the best of creativity".

Welcoming Roberts for attempting to fathom the depths of Hinduism and pointing to its universality, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said that Hinduism had a universal appeal which was very practical. It offered something to every seeker of every path and disposition.

Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, suggested Roberts to achieve the "state of permanent joy" through various techniques mentioned in ancient Hindu scriptures. She should realize the Self and practice regular mediation as right meditation would result in intense inner wakefulness. Taittiriya Upanishad told us that "meditation is Brahman (the supreme Godhead)" and directed us to seek Brahman through meditation. If Roberts needed any help in deeper Hinduism exploration, he or other Hindu scholars would be glad to assist, Zed added.

Roberts reportedly became interested in Hinduism after seeing a picture of Hanuman devotee Hindu guru Neem Karoli Baba, who died in 1973 and whom she never met. She revealed in the past that entire Roberts-Moder family went to temple together to "chant and pray and celebrate. I'm definitely a practicing Hindu". According to reports, Roberts has been interested in yoga for quite some time. She was in Haryana (India) in September 2009 to shoot "Eat Pray Love" in an ashram (hermitage). In January 2009, she sported a "bindi" (vermillion mark on forehead) during her trip to India. She has a production company called "Red Om Films", and "Om" in Hinduism is the mystical syllable containing the universe. There were reports that she was trying to adopt a child from India and her kids shaved their heads during her last visit to India. Roberts, however, grew up with a Catholic mother and Baptist father.

Pregnant Mariah Carey has opened up about her miscarriage heartache after losing her first baby two years ago.

The singer and husband Nick Cannon ended months of speculation by confirming they are currently expecting a child on Thursday.
But as they revealed in the joy, they also spoke candidly about the 'dark' time they endured in 2008.

Mariah, 40, and Nick, 30, revealed they were set to fly out to meet family and friends at in Aspen, Colorado when a last-minute doctors appointment left them devastated.

In a preview of Mariah's Access Hollywood three-part interview due to air this week, Cannon says:'Literally, the day we were supposed to travel to Aspen we had an ultrasound

'Unfortunately that was a time where [the doctor] said, "I'm sorry but the pregnancy is unsuccessful".'

The actor says his wife managed a brave face in front of friends and family.

Nick says: 'Even though it was emotional for both of us, that's when I really saw the strength in this woman right here. She just handled it so well.

'And then to get on a plane and have to spend Christmas with friends and family, and no one knew. I felt like everybody was kind of speculating.
'Literally, in a magazine, it said, "They're gonna let everyone know during the holiday".'

'She was so festive and smiling, obviously for the cameras, and spending time with everyone – and then, literally, at night, [she was] crying herself to sleep.'

Meanwhile, Mariah says the heartache brought them closer together.

She revealed: 'It was really sad. We had really to absorb this… We really learned a lot just as people.

'It's been a long journey. It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.'

Access Hollywood's Billy Bush said that Mariah told him the baby was conceived naturally, and added that the couple does not know its sex.

Taylor Swift's "Dear John" Is About John Mayer

Taylor Swift’s new song, ‘Dear John’, which features on her upcoming album, ‘Speak Now’, was written about the singer-songwriter John Mayer, according to a Yahoo music columnist who reviewed the album. The song reportedly confirms that the couple had a relationship which turned sour.

During his review of the record, music writer Chris Willman analyses the chorus of ‘Dear John’, and concludes that the track is referring directly to 33-year-old Mayer in the lyric, “Dear John, I see it all now that you’re gone, Don’t you think I was too young, to be messed with, the girl in the dress, cried the whole way home, I should’ve known”, and it is suggested that the song mentions the age difference between the two in the line, “It was wrong, don’t you think nineteen’s too young, to be played, by your dark, twisted games, when I loved you so”.

In an interview with Willman himself, Swift spoke about the inspiration behind the new tracks, saying, “They’re all made very clear. Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints”, before adding, “And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out emails on this one”. The new album is set to hit shelves on 25th October 2010, and the first single ‘Mine’ was released on August 24th 2010.
