Strata Messaging for Low Cost Unified Messaging

Unified Messaging is an application that allows you to combine your voice mail, email, and fax messages to one platform. Your voice mail messages are converted to a .wav file and sent to your email. This has been especially valuable for smartphone users.

The new Strata Messaging platform from Toshiba is a new application providing standard voice mail features as well as Unified Messaging (UM) capabilities at a lower price than previously available. Strata Messaging is offered on a hardware platform specifically targeted for the small to medium business office. This new hardware platform is a Linux operating system-based Unified Communication Appliance that connects via Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) to any Strata CIX system equipped with a current IP Interface Unit. Strata Messaging is designed to give customers a winning combination for big company functionality for a small company budget. uMobility Now Supported on the iPhone

A new release of uMobility is now available and includes support the the iPhone. uMobility is available through Toshiba and the app for the iPhone is now available from the Apple App Store. uMobility on an iPhone, selected Windows Mobile, or Nokia Devices allows you to make and receive calls as if on an extension of the Strata CIX System, and calls can be carried over cellular or WiFi network.

uMobility, or Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is a powerful efficiency driven application that is available to Toshiba users who need more mobility and want their cell phone to be an extension off of the IP PBX.
