WOW, I have been on an amazing cruise the past week with 420 other marketers and their family/friends.

I am on my way from Denmark to Orlando, where I will be going on the Marketers Cruise in a few days, meeting up with several hundreds fellow marketers with friends and family.

Last year around this time I posted my 2009 Affirmations. A lot of people found them helpful, so I decided to do a new set of Affirmations for 2010.

The past year has been good to me in many ways, but it is also clear that it could have gone much better if I had a clear and constant vision of what I am about and what I do. Lack of a clear vision, goals and consequently the absence of a plan and focus has cost me much lost business and frustration.

I have given much thought to what SINGLE THING I wanted to focus on in 2010. Everything else should be secondary to that single thing. I have decided that 2010 will be the year that “I am a Writer”.

In 2010 I am going to develop and sharpen my writing skills, with the clear goal to become so good at copywriting that people will demand and prefer my services as a skilled copywriter.

With that introduction, here is my final set of …

If you’re not making the level of sales that you’d like, the main reason is probably that you’re not getting enough traffic to your website, and it’s probably not your fault.  You have to get the traffic before any of the other factors come into play.

If you are like most online entrepreneurs, you’ve been mislead about HOW to generate more traffic to your website.  You’ve read course after course on the topic, but those course were often ghostwritten by individuals who were totally clueless about website traffic generation.

Big name gurus often described the course that they wanted written on outsourcing sites, and then went with the lowest bidder on the writing project.  Then they hawked their courses  through some hyped-up product  launch, where most of those selling the course didn’t even bother to read it, and notice the flaws.

This has worked for over a dozen years, and continues to work great today. The only changes have been that now multi-media (video, and audio) are a very necessary part of the content mix.

What’s also changed is that you now need more articles, videos, audios, and press releases to break through the clutter and get noticed.  In some niches, you have to publish dozens, maybe even hundreds of articles, to become the dominant expert.  Then you need to get you content out to the top article directories, video sharing sites, podcast sites, and press release sites.

That sounds like a huge job, and without automation it is.  However, there are sites where you upload your content to a server, select which sites you want it submitted to, click the submit button, and it’s taken care of.  This allows you to do in about 2 minutes what it would take you hours to do manually.
