We welcome back Erin King, Melbourne based pet and people photographer whom had previously shared with us with the gorgeous photos of Flynn the 1 yr old Chocolate Labrador ( you can read more here). This time round Erin is sharing with us some cute pics of Milly, the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel pup who is only 12 weeks old in this session. Erin will be conducting further sessions for the owner to capture more images of Milly as she grows which is a wonderful idea.

Why you need to know about Canine Hip Dysplasia

Hip Dysplasia is a deformity of the joints that occurs during an animal’s growth period. This painful condition is when the ball of the femur bone cannot fit properly into the hip socket and is the result of bony build up which occurs along this socket joint causing cartilage wear and inflammatory. Dogs can also be born with shallow hip joints which prevents the femoral head (the ball joint) fitting snugly inside the acetabulum (the socket)
