Hello my dears. I know I missed Monday's post and there wasn't a post today. I am going to take a couple days off from blogging and will hopefully see you next week. We got back from Austin late Monday night and I am pretty tired with all the craft shows we've been doing.. Definitely feeling a little blog burnout. This quote by David Allen has really got me thinking. I have so many ideas and things I want to do - sometimes feel like I can just take over the world. I think I may just have a slight problem on focusing (okay, it's a big problem) and I am finding a lot of my work suffers because I spread myself so thin. I want to do so many things that it keeps me from actually accomplishing things in my life and being productive. You can do anything, but not everything. Now if I can only remember this from day to day.

Not sure if any of this is even making sense ;) But what about you? Do you feel overwhelmed at times with things you want to get done? How do you get focused and get things accomplished in your day to day? Any tips on being productive? Anyway. Craft show weekend:

Hi friends! I'm taking off a day early because we're headed to Austin tomorrow for Renegade Craft! So excited to visit the city, I've never been. Any recommendations for things to do in Austin? I hear it's a lot like Portland and I pretty much love Portland with all my heart so I think I may love Austin too... minus the fact that it doesn't rain as much ;) My only experience with Texas was driving with a friend from California to Waco and driving w/another friend from Minneapolis to McAllen, 5 minutes from the border, haha. So all I've done is driven through Texas, I am so excited to actually visit. Hope you'll stop by and say hello if you're in the area!

Friday is here once again! This week was busy, and this weekend will be busy too! My mom is in town for Mother's Day so we're taking her out. We're seeing cirque du soleil tonight, taking her to korean bbq tomorrow, and then taking her to see Avengers. (Have you seen it yet?? It was so good, you must go see it if you haven't!) We also will be down at the California Market Center this weekend for UNIQUE LA! The event is Saturday & Sunday, from 11:00-6:00 -- Hope you can stop by & say hello if you're free :)

Sorry for the super cheesy photo, I was kind of in a rush :) As reader appreciation week comes to a close, I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart - thank you for reading this blog. 5 years ago I started a blog because my friends at school had one and they told me to start one. (thank you Curtis & Mayra!) Then shortly after that, I started oh, hello friend. Whether you're a more recent reader or you've been reading since this blog first started - thank you. Thanks for all sticking with me through the years, the comments you've left, the support you've shown and sharing in our journey of engagement, marriage, and now a house! I know sometimes content can get old but you're still here! I know sometimes talking about religion/beliefs can get tiring but thanks for being open to that. I am really blessed and amazed at what a supportive and wonderful blog community we have here, and really, this blog wouldn't be what it is without you guys, the readers!

Some other notes, I got a couple requests for tutorials - I tried to do a tutorial for creating buttons/graphics using an online photo editor (for those who don't have illustrator, which is what I use) but it wasn't working out so well. I'll try again soon! I did have a couple other things planned (like free downloads) but I just ran out of time :/ I'll try to do a follow up post on this too! I've been receiving some emails about rafflecopter not working - so sorry about that! It's a great (free) service but I don't know how the inner-workings for this sort of thing works, I have tried emailing their customer service but I think it's only one guy who made it or something ;) One thing to try - logging out and logging back in (upper right hand corner box) Also have heard the paypal button is not working. Be sure you are clicking it directly from the blog and not from a reader or email. I'd also suggest trying it a different web browser. Just let me know if you have any questions.
