Oops, I did it again. Exactly one year ago I got my hands on my very first pair of Valentino Rockstud shoes, the black version with a kitten heel you've already seen around here a few times. As I declare myself a fan of these studded designs I though they were the perfect and most representative, iconic pair with the ones I should start my collection, but the bug of the high heel version bit me and I've been craving these shoes ever since, been looking for the right hue to buy. This pinky-nude patent leather color was the perfect pastel shade for me, actually made my heart skip a bit, and now they live peacefully in my shoe closet. Happy is not a word big enough to describe how it feels to have them home!

Hace exactamente un año me hice con mi primer par de zapatos de la colección Rockstud de Valentino, los negros con tacón bajito o kitten que ya habéis visto alguna vez en el blog. Me declaro una fan incondicional de estos diseños con tachuelas de la maison italiana, y en su momento pensé que esa versión en negro era la más representativa y la indicada para empezar mi pequeña colección. Pero desde entonces no había podido dejar de pensar en la versión con tacón alto. Este color entre rosado y nude en charol era justo lo que andaba buscando para mi segundo par de Rockstuds. ¡Feliz es una palabra que se me queda corta para describir cómo me siento por haberlos conseguido!

An outfit wearing one of my favorite pairs of jeans at the moment: these dotted beauties that already sold out everywhere and that I strongly recommend you to get if you are lucky enough to find them again. They are inspired in a pair of jeans by Marc Jacobs, but I kinda prefer these as I am not a bit fan of ripped jeans and Marc's are absolutely destroyed on the front. I paired them to this embroidered bomber jacket from Marilyn & John -the fabric has some golden glitters which look amazing- and the Adele from Isabel Marant. I just love the golden cuffs around the ankles showing up right below them jeans.

Un outfit llevando unos de mis vaqueros favoritos para esta primavera: estos con lunares que están agotados en muchos sitios y que, si tenéis la suerte de encontrar, os recomiendo encarecidamente. Están inspirados en un diseño de Marc Jacobs pero tengo que decir que prefiero estos. No me gustan mucho los vaqueros muy rotos y los de Marc están destrozados por delante. Los combiné con esta chaqueta beisbolera bordada de Marilyn & John -la tela tiene unos brillos dorados espectaculares- y las Adele de Isabel Marant. Me encanta el detalle de las pulseras doradas en el tobillo asomando por debajo del vaquero.

White, pink and camel, the perfect springtime combo. Lately I've been wearing these colors together maybe way too much -and not maybe-, so this is just something personal. This is the last outfit post I show you wearing them, only for little time, because I don't know if it's a matter of personal style or just obsession, I must go to rehab. I like it way too much. Let's see how long this detox lasts.

Hello again peeps! This is the outfit I wore yesterday to spend, just like every first Sunday of May here in Spain, the Mother's day with my family (I love you mum!). I wore this delicate lace top with buttons on the back and rescued a pair of my favorite sandals from last year, these ones that are so comfortable and easy to pair with almost anything that I'm pretty sure will appear in my outfits a lot this summer as well. And speaking about the jeans, you already know how I love these colors and the way they look matched to crochet or lace pieces, so it was inevitable, I couldn't be wearing them any other way. Thank you for you comments, always.

¡Hola de nuevo! Éste es el outfit que llevé ayer domingo para pasar un día muy caluroso en familia celebrando el día de la madre (sé que vas a leer esto, ¡te quiero mamá!). Estrené este top de encaje de aspecto tan delicado con botones en la espalda y rescaté unas de mis sandalias favoritas del armario, éstas del año pasado que son tan cómodas y combinables que seguramente siga poniéndomelas mucho esta temporada. Y en cuanto a los vaqueros, ya sabéis cómo me gustan estos tonos y cómo quedan con cualquier pieza de crochet o encaje, así que la combinación era inevitable, no podía ser de otra manera. My idea of a perfect outfit is pretty simple: a comfy and light white blouse, skinny pants and sandals. This is one of the combos I wear on repeat, playing with textures and colors we can get different results. And this is how I wore the Adele sandals by Isabel Marant I posted about some days ago, paired to this oversized shirt you've already seen on the blog and these bright coral skinnies that are the first jeans from A Wear that I own, and I'm sure they won't be my last. The flattering shape and vibrant hue made me love them, I can see them paired to plain t-shirts and flats in summer.

The moto jacket

If you ever ask me about what's my favorite piece of clothing -and not speaking about shoes and bags-, I'd surely say biker jackets. Every time I buy one, another one catches my eye, and this is a never ending story. On the blog I've worn them in almost every possible color, with or without lapels, quilted, studded, printed, belted -or not-, made of leather, suede, denim... and this is the first cropped one I own. I love the soft and creamy touch of this leather and the details about the zippers, shoulders and seams all over the jacket. Simply a stunner!

Here I paired it to this green dress I found some days ago and the Valentino shoes that time ago stole my heart and that are my favorites ever.

Si me preguntasen cuál es mi prenda favorita para vestir -no tenemos en cuenta bolsos y zapatos-, diría sin duda la chaqueta tipo perfecto, o motero. Cada vez que me compro una, le echo el ojo a otra, y esto es el cuento de nunca acabar. En el blog las habéis visto casi de todos los colores, con y sin solapas, acolchadas, con tachuelas, estampadas, con y sin cinturón, en piel, en ante, vaquera... Y esta es la primera de piel de corte cropped, a la cintura, que tengo. Fantástico el tacto de la piel y los detalles en las cremalleras, hombreras y costuras.

Aquí la he combinado con este vestido verde que compré hace unos días y los zapatos de Valentino que desde hace tiempo son mis favoritos.

Long story shorts

I hate the fact that new season clothes start appearing at every store on January-February, seriously. It's a good thing because at that point we all like to see new things, instead of boring coats and dark, heavy jackets, but on the other hand you know that if you get something you are buying things you probably won't be able to wear in three or four months from that very moment. One week ago I was able to wear for the first time these shorts that had been locked up in my closet for a looong time waiting for a nice spring weather day. I love the geometric prints and the bold colors, as they let me match them to different tops and shoes building great combos. I'm sure you'll see them on the blog this summer again. Here I paired them to this asymmetric yellow sweater (pay attention to the detail on the back, I love it so much) and these shoes that are the new version of the ones Zara launched this past winter, sporting a higher heel and a wider strap around the ankle. If you couldn't get the old version just like me, now you have this great option in stores; and the fact that the heel is higher makes a 10 points shoe of it.

El hecho de que la ropa de nueva temporada empiece a salir en enero-febrero es algo que me pone enferma. Está bien porque ya vamos teniendo ganas de buen tiempo y apetece ver cosas nuevas, más que abrigos y chaquetas, pero no deja de convertirse en un periodo un tanto odioso en el que te haces con prendas que sabes que no te podrás poner hasta dentro de tres o cuatro meses. Al fin, hace como una semana, pude estrenar estos shorts que llevaban recluídos en el armario un laaargo tiempo esperando a las buenas temperaturas. Me encanta el estampado geométrico y los colores tan variados, que permiten muchas combinaciones distintas. Seguro que los volvéis a ver en los próximos meses en el blog. Aquí los combiné con este suéter asimétrico en amarillo (atentas al detalle de la espalda, me encanta) y estos zapatos que no son otra cosa que la versión de verano de los que ya sacó Zara la temporada pasada, pero con más tacón y la pulsera más ancha. Si os pasó como a mi y no conseguísteis los otros, aquí tenéis otra opción; y el hecho de que el tacón sea más alto para mí es una mejora considerable.

A couple of weeks ago we were shooting for a new, exciting collaboration, and here you are the result: OhMyVogue x French Connection! Once again I teamed up with Fashiolista to create an outfit styling one of my favorite pieces from FCUK's new collection: this pastel pink bandage dress that had my name written on it, if you know what I mean. I paired it to some neutral shades such as cream and taupe, and really enjoyed the result. With this outfit I take part in a styling competition which started yesterday, 10 bloggers from all aroung the world getting involved, and here comes the best part of it all:

Spring has sprung

And right after the longest winter and way too muchand rain, springtime weather is here. No more coats, tights or big scarves.
Last weekend and thanks to the wonderful weather I was able to wear this sleeveless mustard blouse from PepaLoves featuring a double collar, paired to a skirt in the shape of a flower and these suede lace-up sandals that have been locked inside my closet for a month now. I have a long list of summer shoes in my wardrobe, unused and some of them even with their tags still attached, waiting for a warm day to be worn. I only hope this time Spring came to stay.

Y después de un invierno larguísimo y de mucha agua, ha llegado el calor. No más abrigos, no más medias, no más bufandas.
El pasado fin de semana aproveché para estrenar esta blusa sin mangas de doble cuello en color mostaza de PepaLoves, combinada con esta falda con el bajo en forma de flor y unas sandalias de ante que ya llevaban un mes guardadas en el armario. Y es que tengo una lista considerable de zapatos de verano recién comprados y todavía con sus etiquetas colgando, esperando al buen tiempo. Espero que esta vez haya venido para quedarse.

It comes with a plush tail attached to a suction pad to put it on the back, but I promise I won't even unbox it.

The black ones

SAME BUT DIFFERENT. Here they are, the black version of the embroidered jeans by Minusey I already wore twice on the blog. I like them both and the truth is I can't pick my favorite among them: the white one is eye-catching and spectacular, while this black one is much sober but still special thanks to the beautiful embroidery. In fact, that's the reason why I bought both when I had the chance to, they offer different styling possibilities and you know what they say: two is better than one!

IGUALES PERO DISTINTOS. Aquí está, la versión en negro de los pantalones bordados de Minusey que ya os había enseñado en blanco en un par de posts. Me gustan mucho los dos y la verdad es que no sabría decir cual prefiero: el blanco me parece un modelo más espectacular, mientras que este negro es menos llamativo pero sin dejar de ser un vaquero muy especial y diferente. De hecho por eso me hice con los dos, ya sabéis lo que dicen: ¡dos son mejor que uno!

HAPPY EASTER! Yesterday I was in Madrid shooting for a very special collaboration that will be out in a couple of days -and you could win an awesome price thanks to it, you'll see - and this was the outfit I chose to spend the day there: a layered one of denim on denim mixed with some whites. We used the last rays of sunlight to take some pics at Colón in this place that, don't ask why, somehow reminds me of Egyptian aesthetics and the pyramids, and kinda love that.

¡FELICES PASCUAS! Ayer estuve en Madrid haciendo unas fotos para una colaboración que verá la luz en un par de días - y que os permitirá ganar un premio genial, ya veréis - y éste fue el outfit que escogí para pasar el resto del sábado: denim sobre denim, por capas y combinado con distintos tonos de blanco. Aprovechamos la luz del atardecer para sacar estas fotos en el monumento al descubrimiento de América en Colón, que de alguna forma me recuerda a las pirámides de Egipto y siempre me ha encantado.

THE FORBIDDEN COLOR. Hi there guys! Today I bring you some photos sporting my brand new haircut and citron shirt ;). I know it's said that yellow isn't a flattering color for us blondes, but it's a color I love for my everyday dressing, so this is just one more piece in the long list of yellow clothes in my closet. Its cut and drape are just beautiful, can't wait to wear it with no jackets on. And talking about these embroidered jeans, the first time I appeared on the blog wearing them I received a lot of mails and comments looking for advice on the sizing, asking about delivery times and all that stuff, so now I will try to solve some of your doubts: They run small, so if you want them you just have to order one size up yours; It took them like a week and a half to arrive, and they are pretty thick and comfortable. I got them in black color as well, and hope to publish an outfit styling them soon!

EL COLOR PROHIBIDO. ¡Hola de nuevo! Hoy os traigo unas fotos estrenando corte de pelo y camisa ;) Sé que se dice que el amarillo no favorece a las rubias, pero es un color que me encanta para vestir, así que ésta ya es una más en la larga lista de prendas de este color que tengo en el armario. Tiene un corte y una caída preciosas, ya tengo ganas de ponérmela sin chaqueta por encima. En cuanto a los pantalones, la primera vez que os enseñé estos vaqueros en el blog recibí varios correos y comentarios haciéndome preguntas sobre tallaje, tiempos de espera y demás, así que aprovecho para contestar aquí a vuestras dudas: Tallan pequeño, así que si queréis pedirlos tendréis que haceros con una talla más de la que normalmente uséis. Tardaron en llegarme como una semana y media, más o menos, y son bastante gorditos y confortables. También me los compré en negro, ¡espero enseñaros pronto algún conjunto llevándolos!
