The idea for this one came to me when I was looking at my bald-spot in the mirror and I said “man it looks like I have mange”.

Believe it or not, his comic is actually based off true events.

Back when I worked for a certain department store with a giant red letter on the front of it I had put in three time off slips. One was for a day I planned to go out biking with some friends another was my Eagle Scout ceremony and the last was my High School graduation. At the time I worked in the Garden Shop, just like Amy does/did so when I checked the schedule I looked under Patio (the stores nickname for the Garden Shop). I was on only one day. Cool that means Wendy approved my time off slip. I went on the bike ride. I came to work the next day I was scheduled and got chewed out. Here they ignored my request and explained that is why they are called requests, and had put me on front checkouts. (Doom) I then asked about my other requests. I was told that I exceeded my limit on weekend requests off and could not have my Eagle Scout ceremony off because it was a Saturday. She then went on to inform me that on the date of my graduation that half of the store was already given that day off and she needed someone to cover checkouts that day.

I went home upset and immediately drafted a nice two weeks notice letter. I handed it to her the next day and did not show up for work on either my Eagle Scout ceremony or my Graduation. What would they do, fire me?
