My Review

Rhea and Saahil are from separate worlds and meet in London. Their first terrible meeting foreshadows a bleak future for them. But their paths crossed again, and now they want to know each other. Saahil despised the notion of commitment and marriage after witnessing his parents' separation, divorce, and bitterness, while Rhea grew up seeing her parents' wonderful marriage, and even after her father's death, her thoughts of her happily ever after never faded. Both had gone through hardships that shaped their outlook on life. When it enters into their relationship, it either breaks or changes the course of their future.

The story moves at a decent pace which helps to keep the reader engaged. Sahil is the most evolved character in the story, and I liked how, at first, he appeared to be the spoiled rich brat enjoying his time apart, but with time, his rigidity, which stemmed from his childhood trauma, began to show, revealing his fears, insecurity, and the admirable person beneath the layers.

Rhea is a breath in the fresh air, so relaxed and taking a risk, never afraid to voice out her thoughts on anything. I adored her mother-daughter bond. Simran and Nandini had a profound impact.

The author fabulously writes the communication impact on the relationship and a healthy relationship despite the child's trauma. And for me, the best part of the novel was when Saahil confronted his parents; it made my eyes moist, and I enjoyed how the author skillfully conveyed the blame game without painting anyone a villain. And the ending is fantastic—they both strive diligently for their happily ever after.

A one-day sweet romance soothing read from a fresh perspective.

My Review

A girl who was being chased by a pack of wolves and was about to die was rescued by the Nhil people. A nameless girl with a blank mind and no memories of her past, know only the language of the Nhil people—who offer her a house to live with them. After being rescued by a group of wolves, a man intends to die without remembrance of his past or a name. He is driven to the distant smoke, where he meets a beautiful girl who is uncannily similar to him—an empty mind, no recollection of the past, the same mark on the thing—and who speaks an unknown foreign language to him. Yet when they touch, both their mark burn like a warning; every creature and element warns them to stay away, but they only see glimpses of their past when they are together.

Fantastic writing! Pepper's writing is brilliant and engaging from the first line. I'd heard a lot about Winters' work but had never read it. With its little nuances and new world, the beginning of this novel is quite intriguing. The girl's and man's pains appear to be related, and the emotions of loneliness, love, and agony intersect in the beginning and middle.

Slow detail is excellent in fantasy to immerse you in the world, but this book becomes painfully slow after a while and harder to read, with some events and pieces of information repeating themselves. The constant focus on the small details became tiresome after a while, and I only wished for the story to move forward. I grew uninterested and bored. Too much information was flung at me without explanation, and the plot was riddled with gaps and ended on a predictable cliffhanger.

It's not for my high-fantasy romance; far from it. I went into this book with an open mind and no real expectations, but still, I feel disappointed. It has a brilliant idea and excellent writing, but the implementation falls short.

Korl joins his elder brother and a magical Frostania on their adventure to battle the terrible powers of Akhuts. Korl had to defy time and fate to bring peace to each kingdom.

Legend of Broken Blade has an intriguing fantasy world with many distinct races, each with its own deep, great, and powerful history. Its plot revolves around a quest to discover a magical artifact and has a lot of adventure, mystery, and spectacular twists and turns. Korl is a young prince who miraculously grows from a boy to a legendary warrior while confronted with a deadly foe and his own insecurities and fears. The entire adventure is exhilarating and culminates in dreamlike heroism.

The author did an excellent job of world-building, with many diverse personalities, each with their own flavors and languages. Korl is a relatable character who is not ashamed to flaunt his imperfections. With each passing page, Korl reminded me of a teenage boy with tears, love, fear, courage, and overwhelming emotion. The start of this story is fascinating and intriguing, but then several events repeat themselves, with the predictable end yet catching readers with the incredible bravery of the warriors. It is a fast-paced novel written in an easy-to-read style for readers of all ages, with vivid descriptions.

Drama, emotion, loss, sadness, and action abound in this magical epic fantasy.

The Hooligan Turned Holy Man by Harsha Shastry is an inspirational and uplifting story about a young man who journeys from being a street thug to becoming a holy man. At the beginning of the book, we meet Sindu, a young reporter who intends to expose the new godman, Sangli Baba. Sindu later learns that he is a man who has lived a life of crime and violence on the streets of Bangalore. He is a hooligan and a thief. As the story progresses, the reader is taken on an emotional journey with Sangli Baba as he undergoes a transformation from a hooligan to a holy man. Two opposing thoughts collide, leading us to explore every inner notion.

It is easy to empathize with Sangli Baba as he struggles to make sense of his life. He began to question his past and pull to the teachings of Hinduism and Buddhism. He gradually starts to understand the power of love and forgiveness and discovers the beauty of life. With the help of his spiritual mentor and the guidance of the other holy men he meets, he is able to find the courage to turn his life around.

Harsha Shastry, the author, has created a gripping novel that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. He expertly paints a vivid picture of life on the streets of Bangalore and the struggle to overcome a life of crime. It has intriguing characters and anecdotes that bring the story to life. She encountered several mythological animals, monsters, and deities. The folktale guides Scarlet in discovering that you can't take anything that doesn't belong to you by using historical stories.

It's a light fantasy book that introduces me to several Scottish folktales, and the illustrations help me visualize them. It is an enjoyable read that made us smile. Scarlet and Amhlaidh's conversation are hilarious. The details are vivid, and the adventure is fast-paced, mainly admirable for children.

A charming short fantasy read that fills every check of your adventurous ride.

Sonia has a life everyone envies a successful professional at the media company and a perfect loving husband, but not everything lasts. Sonia is highly ambitious, which helps her to flourish in her job. She has a boss, Rishabh, who complicates her work, and a colleague, Mehul, who admires her, but that also complicates her personal life and makes it difficult for her husband, Sameep, who has loved her since the first time they met at college. But one mistake from the past and one from the present further complicate her already messed-up life. With the burden of the past and the mistake of the present, she is struggling to find balance in her personal and professional lives.

This book shows the dark side and a bit of the harsh reality of corporate life and the relationship front. It has a story of uncomfortable topics and tension that grows with every page. The story switches between past and present with pretty small chapters, and the narrative is hooking and impressive enough to hold me in place for hours. Every character in the novel has a flaw, and Jain has done a fantastic job with it.

Sonia is a mess of childhood trauma and mental illness, which the author did wonders in portraying. Sonia's character is perfect in the start, puzzling in the middle, and unpleasant towards the end. Mehul and Rishabh are the ones you can find anywhere in the corporate world. Sameep is the one I find myself connected with and the only character likable to me; he sheds light on Sonia throughout the book.

The climax is good and unexpected, but still not satisfying. It was even more disheartening since Sameep is the one I connect with the most. To give it a happy end, it lost the chance of an impressive sad end. The author mentions the rare disorder but hardly talks about it rather than finding the solution, giving the impression that there is no way because of its longer effect. An open mind is needed for this book because it talks about infidelity. It is encouraging or justified in this book which is personally unbearable to me.

An entertaining and refreshing read tangled in a lot of drama and chaos of emotions.

Aura is saved from her recent attack but finds it hard to grasp the reality of her being the last living, breathing Aether. Her bond with her mates is now strong than ever, and three of them are more willing in the process, but one is still seeking a way out. Riven owns the numerous keys to her life's locks, which may free her and break him in the end. Figuring out her place in the new ordeal, the politics of royals, haters in students, and assassins after her life and her mates is not enough. Aura must also find a way to make a place in her mates' lives. With the betrayer everywhere waiting for a chance to kill them all, the new unknown power of the bond and one wrong move can destroy the entire game.

Again, the novel sweeps you in with its rapid pace, compelling characters, magical world, and unexpected twist. This book is more concerned with relationships than the plot; the secrets revealed are attention-worthy, and the confusion is gripping. It becomes tedious due to the recurrence of twists and the predictable cliff-end. But not enough to not take a dip in the final book.

A fast-light magical action with a dash of drama entices you to re-join them.

Every poetry is brief and easy to read, and it will fill you with pleasure, despair, and hope. The title and cover all complement one other perfectly.

It is the best place to start reading poems if you've never read poetry book before.

Roli, an orphan, lived with his neglected aunt, lonely and alone but she also leaves him one day without any words. Drawn by the adventure stories of the books that were his only hobby, he set off on his own journey in search of a new family, friends, and freedom. He started out on a walking trip to explore the beauty of Pachmarhi.

A journal entry seems more personal and helps me to connect with Roli more easily. With Roli's sight, a detailed experience feels fantastic and spectacular. A remarkable tour through nature that imparts a profound lesson about hope. The ending struck me hard with both delight and grief. The author did an excellent job of making it easy to read and express the societies norms, beauty of village. Roli is young still teaches many lives lesson. I enjoy reading this quick fast-pace read.

A tale of adventure, heartbreak, and pain depicts the reality of life.

Lucy is a green witch connected to nature, the forest, and living in Salem. One night she finds someone looking from the woods and has been unable to shake off the strong pull towards him. Following him led her to an unknown world, the Hallows Ends. Lucy discovers that Jones is her soulmate and comes from a world that is frozen in time. Jones had no one to talk to for the past few years, but he has finally found a soul mate and hopes that he can rescue his world from the curse placed upon them. Every year in Salem, a serial killer hunts for a witch, and many spooky, creepy supernatural beings are out to kill Lucy and Jones, their family, and friends. A mystery murderer lurking in the shadows threatens both their worlds.

Insta love, powerful characters with strong witch powers, buried secrets, and world-building through time travel give both thrills and chills. The author's brisk pacing, detailed witchcraft, hilarious banter, and intense suspense are all outstanding. The climax is tense, with a mixture of terror and happiness.

The mystery of the curse in the Hallows Ends lingered in the air, urging us to keep our eyes peeled for the next volume.

My Review

Gabriel broke Elise's heart to ensure his place in the consortium, a place filled with people who are the cause of his and his sibling's misery, as well as the murderer of his parents. This is his sole plan to destroy them until his last breath. A string tied to Elise's heart reminded him over and over that he needed to leave her as well. Elise's guilt blinds her to her sisters, but one plea for help from her younger sisters persuades her that to protect her sisters from her father, she must enter into his father's game, and its ultimatum would be death. Until death comes, she would make sure it is worth it by staying at Gabriel’s side. When Gabriel and Elise strike to test the limits of their revenge plan and love, they each face years of trauma to survive.

This book strikes me as significantly darker than the last one. Though the plot is a little slow, the character development is fantastic. I'm excited to see Elise in action, but I'll have to wait one more time. The maturity before the time and trauma of a child shine in the book. This story is more about the character’s development and what a beautiful transformation it is. Gabriel is more invested in the game and has a darker edge that draws you in.

A quick read that is dark with traumas and anguish and twists a few times to get an unexpected cliff ending.

Violet is trying everything she can to avoid Gavin after he broke her heart, but it's impossible since he lives next door. A camp trip promised to her cousin's sister forces her to face Gavin and share a tent with him. When Violet was sick and had no one with her, Gavin took it upon himself to look after her. Violet struggles to manage her thoughts and emotions witnessing Gavin's loving and caring side again. They agreed to give their relationship a fresh start. Violet was terrified and insecure over her past. Gavin also has family troubles, potential employment uncertainty, and old blunders that remind him that his life is a mess. There was so much in their way that either strengthened them or broke them completely.

Violet is everything and much sweeter and more strong-willed, but Gavin, in the guise of a jerk, comes out buttery and soft, and that makes a place without knowing. The story is refreshing without lingering too much in the past, focusing only on the present, new insecurities in the relationship, and uncertainty of future career possibilities. The presence of Daisy and Jordan is a bummer. This novel is not a match for the first one, but it has its strengths. Every remark in Jane Auster's historical romances and novels hits the heart.

With the charm of new love and the reality of broken hearts and torn families, the author takes us to the next level of swoony, soft, and scorching.

My Review

Where the Sun Never Sets is the story of Iti, who returns to her hometown, Mussoorie, after a long time due to COVID-19. She has to write a movie script and stay away from the people of her past. But she hardly has any idea to write nor control the unexpected stumble upon her ex-boyfriend and her forgotten best friend. She starts to read her old diaries to find ideas for her script but ends up with so many emotions and the greatest and worst memories of her past that she had buried for so long. It is a total nightmare or maybe the closer to moving on from where she is stuck.

Some stories play with your mind, and this book exactly does that. The author tricks you, confuses you, holds you in one moment, then surprises you with unexpected twists. The beginning of the book is slow, allowing you to get into the plot, but the end is rushed, much like a movie story. But I was most struck by Iti's growth over the years, a voyage of mental healing, and an exciting twist at the ending. The author wrote beautifully about young rebellious feelings, obstinate adults, and confusing relationships. Until the end, it never seemed like the story was about mental healing nor overburdening me with deep and more complicated thoughts.

This book is not a romance story but has elements of it. It is more about friendships, family, and acceptance of unexpected circumstances. The entire story is about re-discovering and mending herself, which has been lost somewhere in the past. When you read a story that mixes fiction and reality, you want the two to split at the end. The beauty of Mussoorie didn't explain the way I had expected.

An incredible read which has left an imprint on my heart. It holds a special place in my heart and mind. This book is written in the form of diary entries and feels like a quick read to me.

This book is impressive with its simple and engaging writing style. Despite being in the self-help genre, it doesn't feel boring. The author uses her creativity to use many realistic examples and stories to prove her points. She discusses many small details, from the author's hesitation in writing to the health of an author.

I had a different image in my mind for this book, but instead, I got the life story of the author and her experiences, which is a good thing and helped me to connect with her, but not something I was looking for. Sure, there are many facts with which I agree with the author; it also helps any writer to know and start from some point. It is fascinating that there is an author who can write a book in 8 days, but you have to have an experience like her or make it by reading books and using the various methods she described.

After reading this book, I went through all of her works and began to match the stories she discussed in them. Her writing style has really impressed me. This book is an icebreaker for you if you are searching for a book that motivates you to write and gives you a push with the insights of writing, marketing, and publishing a book.

When her parents offer to join them on vacation. She knows this is the ideal break for her. She meets Ed, who is alone on his honeymoon. She is fascinated with his whole marriage as part of some reality TV show. When Ed offered to join him on his honeymoon activities, she decided to have some fun for a while. But things change and make them split from one another, and there are fewer chances to meet again.

The concept and plot are intriguing. That's why I picked it. However, things didn't turn out as expected. This is a fast, simple, and cute read. The writing is hasty, lacking little details and old jokes. It's hard to connect with Charley and Ed, thus feeling their relationship isn't a factor. It takes a long time to connect to the main storyline, which makes me bored. Though I adore Maddie and Charley's friendship, Ed's personality, and some light and hilarious moments. It's a quick and entertaining read.

This book has a refreshing summer feel; it's quick, simple, and easy to read with little complexity. Like any other simple romance, I enjoyed this.

The vistas from the Taj Mahal always pique my interest, and every historical structure is built on stories. History and stories are something that I crave. Having visited the Taj Mahal before, Amma gives me a closer tour than any tour guide, and many facts and stories come into my knowledge from this book. Shiv and Veer's funny interactions make the story light, engaging, and believable for me. Reading this book has only increased my desire to return to the Taj Mahal and examine new and old facts more closely.

Bakthi's captivating narrative would be incomplete without Priyanka's breathtaking illustrations. Though intended for children, this book is ideal for anybody interested in Indian history, cultural heritage, and magnificent stories. The narrative and storyline flow are buttery smooth, and the images are stunning. You can never deny the beauty of children's books, no matter how old you are. Every second, this book reminds me of that.

Meara's simple life was upended when a mysterious and powerful man kidnapped her baby sister. On her mission to save her sister, she discovers her power and the hidden secrets of her family. Fighting the supernatural isn't enough. She must resist the pull toward the arrogant pureblood demigod.

It has a beautiful fantasy world filled with different supernatural creatures. Meara was a powerful and strong-head at the start, but she faded in the middle, distancing me from her inner anguish. Every character had an imprint to leave, even if only for a little while. It's fantastic to have a fantasy world that combines numerous mythology with the current world but can also be overwhelming at the time. The book's tension produces excellent perplexity, and the underlying tales keep me captivated.

The slow-burn romance is absent in the book, as is the connection between Kamraan and Meara. Some facts and events still remain untouched, confusing, and underwritten. The ending filled me with a rush. While this fantasy world is fascinating and unique, it still feels like a hindrance.

Overall, Meara has an enormous and entertaining fantasy world with a young adult story and a slow-burn romance. Despite the lack of romance, this novel is pleasant to read.

She receives more attention from royal princes. Each prince protects her in their own way. But, she must figure out what to do about her growing feelings for four princes. Three princes are ready to tear themselves apart for her, but one cruel prince wants her out any way he can. Aura struggles to find her place amidst secrets, mysteries, unknown bonds, power-hungry beasts, and dirty power politics.

The book has a variety of surprising elements, each with its own twist. The magic in this world, the four mates, and the fast storyline appeal to me. I enjoy reading their funny banter and progression in Aura. This book kept me on edge many times, and after finishing, I wanted to read the next one right away. Although this book has its own darkness, I still find its plot light. The confusing characters and twists are fantastic.

But there is a lot of information presented too quickly at a time, one after another. A few twists are predictable, and the plot and characters aren't as deep as they could have been. Aura is understandable and flawed, which gives the book a breath of fresh air. The secrets of other guys are revealed way too quickly. Although Riven keeps secrets, there is something about this mystery guy that captivates me. His hatred, push-and-pull behavior, outbursts, and angry revelation are amazingly written to life and come out bit by bit.

The Lost Elementals is perfect for those seeking a quick, fast-paced story with less depth in plot, characters, magic, and a setting that's different but with the same high school drama. The book was still a pleasure to read, despite all its flaws.

Charu felt an unfathomable connection with Rudra the first time she met him. Separated for years, that doesn’t stop Charu from liking him less. But fate shows magic by reuniting them. Distance does not separate them; instead, it draws them closer. They both struggle for their relationship, but circumstances force them to split again, with no possibility of ever meeting again.

This story is simple but enjoyable. The notion of a soulmate is well depicted, and the narrative is quite realistic. The writing style is unfamiliar to me and feels a lot like storytelling. Nonetheless, it crips and sweet romantic story that touches beautifully.

This novel takes the reader on a journey from meeting a high school crush to separation and reuniting to fall in love, only to have their job priorities force them to choose between love and work.

The conclusion is rushed and does not bring me any closer. Charu's level of suffering must be thoroughly justified. Aside from that, this is a quick and refreshing read.

Lucy’s one wrong decision cost her losing her business and nearly ended her friendship with her childhood best friend. To make her best friend happy, she joined a yoga retreat where she met the calm, charming, and never-on-time Zack and disliked him immediately. After losing everything, Lucy can't lose the chance to buy her childhood home. But Zack also wants that house. Zack makes her agree to buy it with him because she has no other choice. Lucy made a plan to make Zack irritated enough to leave the house, but Zack is more patient and leaves marks everywhere. Lucy is losing her own self in this mess.

This is such a sweet and soothing story that it touches my heart. I relate to Lucy's stressful working life and her approach to life. Zack is a charmer, carefree, and so much sweeter man. The story is more plot and character-driven, and the development in both of them is magnificent, especially in Lucy. Every moment is new to me and immerses me in it, never distracting me as if I had read it before. It’s hard to remember how many times I smiled while reading this. That doesn’t mean it doesn't make me cry. It is a really amazing read.

The beginning of this novel is slow, as is the romance. I didn't get an enemy's vibe, but surely dislike is present everywhere with a valid reason. I can feel the point Lucy has regarding Zack. And I love both of them.

Overall, Stuck With Him is a fabulous read with tons of hilarious banter and a unique housemate story that takes my mind off for many hours. I enjoyed every moment spent on this book.

There is nothing else to say except that I love this book. It has a soft and sweet story with sweet characters. It is a dreamy delight romcom, and Aaron Blackford is one of my favorites.

Catalina lied to her mother about having an American boyfriend when she was single for a long time. And her sister's wedding is coming, so she needs to find a boyfriend to show her whole family and her ex-fiancé to save herself from humiliation. And there comes Aaron Blackford, her all-time nemesis, who is willing to go to Spain as her fake boyfriend. When they learn more about one other, the fog of their hatred starts to clear, and secrets and insecurities threaten to reveal themselves.

This novel offers a compelling plot and fascinating characters. Catrina’s family is cool. The drama that starts in Spain sucked me in instantly, and the slow-burn romance is pleasant. Both characters' backstories are heartwarming, but the connection to the present story is predictable. However, the uniqueness of the book is still intact.

This book starts with fake dating, enemies to lovers with office romance, and comedy. All the tropes that I love to read. I enjoyed reading this magnificent book that gave me swoon-worthy characters and a memorable story.

This is the perfect time for her to get what she wants with her future plans intact. Santino always hates his bodyguard job, wants a way out of it, and Paris is his way out. For a long time, he had controlled himself, but away from home, every day, his rising anger and tension led him to burst. He is so deep in trouble as he already knows he has no future with Anna.

Anna has a sharp mouth and may be annoying and overwhelming at times. Regardless, I like her. But Santino is a surprise delight, going from arrogant to gentleman. The banter between both of them is to die for. It was fascinating to see Val and Dante's points of view. The story starts slow and fast in the middle and at the end. Its end and last twist are the most satisfying and spectacular parts. The story differs from Cora's previous bodyguard romance, which is also the reason I enjoyed reading this one.

This novel has a lot of potential. I wanted to read the mafia and political romance. I enjoy the interaction between Anna and Clifford, as well as his personality. He has far too many stories to tell that can breathe fresh life into it. I was expecting a love triangle but was greatly disappointed. The plot was so fast that I couldn't connect and barely felt Anna and Santino's relationship evolve. I was quite disappointed because Cora is great at slow romance, so I expected that to be there.

Finally, this novel is good for its powerful characters, great story, and new Outfit changes. And the promise of a fantastic story about the Outfit's next heir. Leonas, though, is what makes this novel memorable for me. Prior to reading this book, I didn't have any strong feelings about his novel, but now that I have, I am quite eager to read it.
