Robert Pattinson spouts a lot of over-the-top lovey crap to that girl, but he doesn't take his shirt off at all. Why am I supposed to want to see this movie again?

Last we saw Sassy Gay Friend, he was coming to the rescue of poor Ophelia before she could drown herself over dumb old Hamlet. Now he's waving his swirly finger in Juliet's face and dissuading her from suicidey tragedy.

Enjoy him while he's still on YouTube-- before you know it, I'm sure the Logo network will completely miss the point and give him his own sassy show! OMG, Sad: Corey Haim dead of overdose at 38

Corey Haim, the '80s heartthrob who was partially famous for having the same name as other '80s heartthrob Corey Feldman, was found dead this morning in his apartment.

LOS ANGELES -- Actor Corey Haim has died at the age of 38, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed to KTLA.

Haim died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday of an apparent accidental overdose, according to the LAPD's North Hollywood Division.

He was found unresponsive inside an Oakwood apartment, between Burbank and the Hollywood Hills, police said.

His mother was at the home at the time.

OMG, Eric Massa Can't Keep His Hands to Himself

Oh hey! Have you been following this whole Eric Massa scandal? The former Democratic congressman (he resigned on the 5th) is caught up in a whole web of scandal based on (obviously true!) allegations of his totally crazy gay antics. The latest is today's breaking news from Politico that

The House ethics committee has received allegations that former Rep. Eric Massa groped at least three male staffers and conducted himself improperly with interns as well as full-time aides, a source familiar with the matter tells POLITICO.

I'm starting to wonder what kind of parents would send their virginal little ~~boys~~ bois off to be congressional interns. Shit, at least when you sent your kids to Michael Jackson's house for a sleepover, he'd give you a Rolex or whatever as a bribe. But now Mr. Jackson is dead, the Neverland Ranch is all boarded up, and the House of Representatives is starting to look like America's molestiest house! (Not to worry-- with news of the Pope's gay hooker ring, the Vatican still holds the international title.)

BUT ANYWAY, obviously the absolute best part of the whole Massa scandal are the former congressman's bizarre (and erotic!!!) counter-allegations, which involve a sexy, nude locker room showdown with Obama Chief-of-Staff and white-haired sex-machine Rahm Emanuel:

"Let me tell you a story about Rahm Emanuel," Massa started. "I was a congressman in my first eight weeks, and I was in the congressional gym, and I went down and I worked out and I went into the showers...I'm sitting there showering, naked as a jaybird and here comes Rahm Emanuel not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me because I wasn't going to vote for the president's budget. Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man?

"By the way, what the heck is he doing in the Congressional gym," Massa continued. "He goes there to intimidate members of Congress...He's hated me since day one, and now he wins."

Hmm! I wonder what could possibly be so intimidating about a naked Rahm Emanuel!?

AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? I cannot wait to find out!

OMG, a Q&A with VV Brown

Who is VV Brown? She is the latest in a seemingly never-ending conga line of British pop starlets to sashay across the Atlantic to perform on our late night talk shows, dazzle us with fabulously self-styled outfits, and subject themselves to interviews with our gay music bloggers.

Brown, who is 25, released her debut album Travelling Like The Light in the UK last summer and was immediately branded 'one to watch' by several mainstream media outlets. Her first few singles - "Shark In The Water", "Crying Blood" and "LEAVE!" - energetically blend classic soul and blues influences with indie rock hooks and R&B swagger.

Ahead of the album's official US street date in April (it's already available for download), Brown has been hitting the North American club and talk show circuit to drum up interest. It was in a Washington, D.C. hotel room a couple weeks ago that we reached VV via phone to chat about writing the songs for Travelling Like the Light on a one-string guitar, her forthcoming comic book and her trip to Nigeria with Damon Albarn's band Gorillaz. OMG, How Romantic: the gay You Belong With Me

I usually hate this kind of shit, but this romantic gay crush video set to Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me is actually kind of cute and heartwarming. Let's face it-- I would follow Ms. Swift anywhere.

One caveat: while this video is totally nice about the whole fag thing, I'm sad to report that-- like so much of Hollywood's output-- it is extremely glassesphobic. If you are part of the glasses-wearing community (including friends, allies, and those questioning their eyesight!) you might want to avoid it altogether.

Last week, loyal readers will remember, I gave you a quick primer on the topic of "Who is Justin Bieber."

Today, I bring you news of a very important blog: Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber. Note: that's NOT Justin pictured above. It's a lesbian! (Actually Dani from Tila Tequila: A Shot at Love or those keeping track.) Who knew a chipmunk-cheeked teen heartthrob from Canada could so closely resemble every swim team dyke on earth!?

Of course, this being the internet, there are plenty of birdbrained commenters with something to say about this comparison. Naturally they're offended! To wit:

You have to be a fucking idiot if you think Justin Bieber looks like a fucking lesbian! I mean seriously? First off, if you are a lesbian, you would NOT even be looking his way...unless you're a pedofile. "The pre-pubescent voice, skateboarding, video games..." If you haven't noticed, HE'S A FUCKING 15 YEAR OLD BOY. Jesus christ! You lesbians try to give yourself allllll the credit. You're the ones who decided to shop in the little boys section & skateboard. I'm not even a fan. But in my opinion, I find it creepy how 18-25 year old women claim Justin is "lezzin' out." Give me a break.

In the biggest news since we found out that the moon is not actually made of green cheese, The Advocate has just broken the huge news that Will & Grace's Sean Hayes is a gay. What do you know! I had no idea he was in the closet in the first place. I can't decide what to think about this, but Mr. Hayes seems kind of annoyed at the whole thing:

"I am who I am. I was never in, as they say. Never."

"What more do you want me to do? Do you want me to stand on a float? And then what? It's never enough."

"I feel like I've contributed monumentally to the success of the gay movement in America, and if anyone wants to argue that, I'm open to it. You're welcome, Advocate."

OMG, a numerological countdown to Erykah Badu's album release

A lot has been happening in the world of soul/R&B singer Erykah Badu since we blogged about her latest single "Window Seat" a while back. We've been AWOL with the updates so in case you haven't been following her every tweet, here is one big recap of most major Badu-related news items from the previous weeks.

The countdown to the release of Erykah's latest album, New Amerykah Part 2 (Return of the Ankh) is continuing with a numerological campaign called (((333))). The idea springs from the record's March 30, 2010 release date: March 30, 2010 is 3/3/3 or 2 + 0 + 1 + 0 = 3. Leading up to the big day, Erykah will periodically release new bits of material via Twitter at 3:33 p.m./a.m. (In fact, there should be something new happening on her website at 3:33 p.m. today.)

"The number has always been in my life -- every time I look at the clock it seems to be there, whether it's a.m. or p.m.," Badu explained in a recent Billboard interview. "I look at it as a sign that I'm on the right path."

The Billboard article also contains several other interesting tidbits, such as:

At a listening party last year, Erykah swore that she wouldn't release any new material if it leaked online. True to her word, she hasn't been performing any new songs at recent West Coast concerts. Instead, she's been mixing cover songs, such as the Snoop Dogg classic "Ain't No Fun", into her set lists.

Erykah has an executive assistant and tour manager, but she's never had a manager, and "she does everything from conceptualize and direct her videos to style her outfits and handwrite her albums' thank-you notes."

Delta Airlines has licensed "Window Seat" as boarding music for its flights. The song debuted at No. 47 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart making it the best debut of the year and the second best of her career.

AND if that isn't enough Erykah news, she also made headlines when she managed to clear a sample from the "unusually funky" Paul McCartney song "Arrow Through Me" by hollering at Lenny Kravitz and Stella McCartney on Twitter.
