Well, obviously, the game was either never made or it’s far from finished.

Too much b/s all over the internet.

First of all, they asked $5 million from Take 2, of course, they refused to give them money (who would drop 5 mil to someone who delayed things for a decade)? However, instead they offered $30 million for all game (now they owe publishing rights only), 3DR refused and closed down instead. Like what the fuck?

If it’s like 90-95% or whatever already done, why they just can’t work from loans and/or just get no pay for month and finish damn game? Ah, yes, maybe it’s not 90% complete… Or if we assume fact that it takes ~8% per year… Well, fuck yeah, not possible then. Unless you start taking pre-orders and pray for the best. Oh, or maybe they don’t feel it’s a good game.

Okay, let’s check interview from: E3 2006: 3D Realms’ Scott Miller Discusses Value of Original IP

It’s like when we made “Max Payne.” The game itself cost $4 million and 4-1/2 years to build. We said, okay, we might only make $8 million in sales, but think about what the franchise will be worth. As it turned out, the game made $20 million in royalties … and we later sold the franchise for almost $50 million.

THR: What about the latest “Duke” game … the one that seems to be taking forever to build?

Miller: We’ve put about $7.5 million into that and we’ve been working on it since late 1998. So it really hasn’t been that much of an investment. And once it comes out, if it’s as successful as we think it’ll be, we’ll make that money back in the first day or two of sales.

So….. They spent like 7.5 mil within first 8 years and then just burned all the budget? Doesn’t make sense at all.

Anyway, the recent leaked gameplay looks decent. Of course, all fanboys cry on how awesome it is. Yeah, right. Expect for few annoying parts (jumping on bosses, standing up when you fall all the time. etc) it’s kinda ok. But 12 years…

So my guess? It’s going to be released.

Today I would like to share some of my recent experience.

My partner and I are doing wholesale business. He does the customer support and sending items, while I on another hand everything what is marketing related + calls to important customers.

Anyway, over the last few days he decided to drop small customers (who orders like 5-10 items per month) and focus on catching big fishes.

Now the pros of course are:
More time
Only a couple of USD profit loss (which probably is being compensated by the increase of free time).

Of course, I am against that. To be fair, big fishes already got their suppliers and rarely seeks for new ones.

Also, since our small customers business is growing, it wouldn’t be wise just to drop them. I truly believe that some of them will become big fishes later in the future. Some actually already orders stuff for over 40 000 USD / year (but not from us… yet).

So since he wants to drop them, there is 1 issue:

I don’t want to do that

Of course, I could just do that myself, but that’s kind of eliminates the whole point of doing business with partner, since with double profits, I can do that by myself.

Yes, that would mean starting my own company, re-doing all things I done (marketing, SEO, etc.) + finding new clients…

Also, since my partner sends all the items, manufactures them… I would still need a new partner or just move closer to his location and do that by myself (hardly possible).

So yes, I am still not sure where will this lead if won’t be able to convince my partner to stop this bs.

Oh, did I forgot to tell that he already said some customers who contacted us recently that we will be handing big fishes only without telling me?

Few months ago I was a hardcore Christian… But now… I don’t believe in fairy tales. Why? Upon the studying of Bible and prayers I come up with facts which totally changed my beliefs.

So what are they?

1. There shouldn’t have been any Jesus

Book of Isaiah (7:14) says:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Yes, Immanuel was supposed to be a real messiah, not Jesus. Some people might argue that Immanuel was Jesus (huh?) so here are just a few more facts to support my statement:

Emmanuel

Jesus

Ate butter and honey (Isaiah 7:15)

Ate meat (Luke 24:41-42)

Knew to refuse evil and choose good (Isaiah 7:15)

Was waxed strong, until his mission was shown unto him (Luke 1:80)

Shaved his beard (Isaiah 7:20)

Under Levitical Law was prohibited from shaving his beard (Revelation 1:14)

Lived in an area ruled by kings (Isaiah 7)

Was brought up amongst Pharisees, scribes, and Ceasar, not kings (Matthew 23:1-3)

Was to deliver the House of David

Was sent unto the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel (Matthew 15:22-24, John 16:7)

2. There are no evidence of Jesus

Despite his popularity and unquestioned existence, there is not the slightest bit of physical evidence to support a historical Jesus – no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus.

In addition, there is not a single contemporary (ie secular) piece of documentation that mentions Jesus. All documents regarding Jesus were written well after the alleged life of Jesus (so that’s like: dropping random facts about the past which were not true) by either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings.

All reliable evidence for the historical actuality of Jesus Christ are purely hearsay.

3. New and old testaments issues

If old testament was written by someone who heard a voice of God. Why in the world they wanted a new one. God doesn’t change his beliefs.

P.S. Old testament supports slavery and many other things which no longer exists in new one.

4. Christians “pray to other” God.

Okay, how many Gods there are? One.
What does God say about that?

“I am the Lord thy God and thou shalt not have other gods besides me.”

Okay. Now let’s see this:

Hail Mary prayer says:

“Holy Mary, Mother of God”

That means: Jesus = God. That means: Whenever you say this prayer, you actually say that Jesus is a God which fuck ups the first God commandment. Ironic? Yeah.

5. So there are other Gods?

Bible says that God created the universe in 7 days, right? Okay. So if there are other Gods as well, which one of them created the universe? Were all Gods playing checkers or something and main prize was universe creation?

Whatever. I am out of this.
