Jordan will be releasing a boot-form of their Spizike sneaks. I’m gonna say, now, that I love these. Many sneaker-to-boot combos don’t work but these are fine in my book. I can’t see much difference unless I look at the sole closely but they look ultra-comfortable. They will be released Winter ‘09, which, I feel will be a good fashion season.

Fabolous feat. Lil Wayne – “Salute”

So, his album is somewhere on the internet by now. I don’t want too much to do with the leakage of quality projects so either find it or wait two more weeks ’til it drops. This track leaked before but here it is in better form. As much as I hate to like Lil Wayne, I must say that he goes in. He’s not the best rapper alive to me but I feel that he’s creative. He puts words and similes together well.

Here’s the single of the hoip-hop-quartet’s debut album due in stores August 11. This joint goes hard. The video is kinda mainstream-friendly so hopefully SH can collectively get out of the underground.

The Game – “I’m So Wavy (Jay-Z Diss)”

And here we have the case of Jayceon Taylor, the bipolar, attention-hungry rapper. Jay-Z said that he wasn’t talking about him on a freestyle –in a way to infer that he’s passed the beef– and Game concluded that this was not a dis.

Then he went on stage in a number of foreign countries and screamed, “Fuck Jay-Z,” on stage. Then he comes out with this song. Again, Game’s dis-records don’t suck. But he loses points in the decision-making category. What does he stand to gain from this? He said he deaded his beef with 50 Cent because of Michael Jackson and now he does this. These are signs of an unstable and emotional creature.

He becomes a low-life when it comes to beef. He attacks people’s girlfriends and crosses all kinds of lines that you don’t cross according to the unwritten code among men. He bigs-up Kanye West, then shits on Amber Rose. You might as well have dissed Kanye directly.

If Jay-Z is smart, he won’t respond. It’s not worth it. Regardless of how hot this is, or isn’t, Jay-Z quick BP3 freestyle still shits on ot.

Mase feat. Cam’ron & B. Rossi- “Get It”

This post, and the post immediately above this one, are clues that hip-hop is going crazy –and getting a tiny bit exciting. Murda Mase and Killa Cam have hooked back up for a track that’s not half-bad. It’s just funny how bitter-enemies become friends. Remember Jim Jones and 50 hooking up after the whole Curtiiiiiis debacle? Is this just another publicity ploy? I’m going to say, yes, but we’ll see.

Drake – “The Winner”

This is kinda tough but I think I like singing-Drake more than I do rapping-Drake (All hetero).

Freeway – “Freeway’s Beard”

This is the greatest flip of a line from a radio freestyle. Em’s “Conkyfire Freestyle” on Tim Westwood was full of Swag Juice and a line about Em hiding in Freeway’s beard, which free capitalizes on this track.
