Modern Warfare 3 Elite DLC schedule will deliver until September

Activision has lifted the curtain on its Modern Warfare 3 Content Calendar which it calls the 'MW3 Season of Content'. This schedule outlines what's to come for Call of Duty ELITE Premium Members.

Below we listed out the content revealed today, which actually runs until September this year, quite a long time. Of course by then you'll have to get your pre order in for Black Ops 2. The DLC will include Maps, Spec Ops Missions and new Modes.

February: Map
March: Map + Two Missions
April: Two Maps
May: Map + Mission
June: Map + Mission + Mode
July: Two Maps
August: Map + Mission + Mode
September: Map + Mission

The Darkness II Launch Trailer Featuring NIN Soundtrack

There isn't really too much to be said about this new Darkness II Launch Trailer, other than that it features Nine Inch Nails and Jackie’s Quad-Wielding.

FIFA Street launches on March 13 with 'In-Game Social Features'

Today EA Sports revealed the release date for the FIFA Street reboot. The game will drop on March 13th on PS3 and Xbox 360.

EA also included an all new social network called 'Street Network' which will 'encourage social competition among players'.

I myself am a big supporter of the FIFA Street franchise and hope it will overcome some of its challenges in previous iterations.

The Street Network will present players with some pretty neat features like video capture and sharing.

The Street Network will enrich the World Tour story mode, where gamers create a team of friends and compete in a connected world against other FIFA Street gamers’ teams. Players will be able to follow each other’s status as they build their squads, unlock new tricks, and progress through the story of their journey to street soccer glory. Players will be able to share and compare progress with friends directly in the Street Network and it will also broadcast in-game videos like “Goals of the Week”, and alert friends to each other’s accomplishments throughout the game.

Call of Duty ELITE Premium Member MW3 DLC Maps now on Xbox LIVE

Today marks the beginning of your return of investment on that Call of Duty ELITE membership. Activision has released the first Premium Member exclusive DLC on the Xbox 360.

The two maps are Liberation and Piazza - both must be downloaded from the in-game DLC menu to avoid matchmaking errors.

Rayman Origins coming to 3DS March 20 and gets a 'Making Of' Trailer

Hey Rayman fans, I know you have waited long enough for a good and proper sequel and already received it on the consoles in Rayman Origins but wait a second. That was all child's play since you can soon grab the 3DS version.

Ubisoft has revealed that Origins will release for 3DS on March 20th. The game will also be available on PlayStation Vita on February 14th.

Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party dates and prices revealed

As the annual Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party approaches Xbox LIVE Director of Programming, Larry Hryb has released the exact prices and release dates for the four titles of this year's edition.

The four games in the promotion will start with Warp for 800 MSP on Feb 15th, followed by Alan Wake's American Nightmare on Feb 22nd for 1200 MSP and Nexus of Feb 29th for 800 MSP. The last game in the House Party will be I Am Alive on Mar 7th for 1200 MSP.

Resident Evil 6 to feature 6 player online co-op and 8 player online multiplayer

According to an official Xbox LIVE Marketplace listing Resident Evil 6 has just received some juice feature details, at least for now.

If the website is to be believed the game will feature 2 player offline coop, 6 player online coop and an 8 player multiplayer mode. While the coop modes seem pretty straight forward, we dont have an confirmation as to what the multiplayer will include.

If prior Resident Evil games are any indication, it is most likely a form of mercenary mode.

MLB The Show 2012 reveals the Adrian Gonzalez box art

Activision will be bringing back those memories and HD-ified the original Tony Hawk titles to stay with modern times.

[Updated with Trailer] Capcom confirms Resident Evil 6 for November 20

After much rumor and speculation about Capcom's full numbered sequel in the Resident Evil series, the publisher has finally made it official. In a press release Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 6 will release on November 20th this year and launch on PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game is supposed to follow.

Resident Evil 6 will be a blend between action and horror. The game will be loaded with bombshells as it includes Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield together for the same time ever.

Resident Evil 6 takes place 10 years after the 'Raccoon City incident' as Leon has to make some questionable decisions about his President and Chris will travel to China which is under a bio-terrorist attack as is the United States.

The game has already received a trailer on the Resident Evil Portal which shows cinematic as well as gameplay.

Tequila Works' Deadlight is a 2D Zombie Platformer for 2012

Shank 2 sets his blades for a Feb 7 release date

When the first Shank came out it was a hit on the downloadable space and called for a sequel. EA and Klei Entertainment are doing just that by releasing Shank 2 on February 7th in North America for PS3 and PC.

The game also release in Europe on February 8th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Of course it is another downloadable game and will cost $9.99 or 800MSP as well as 9.99 Euros across the pond.

Set in a pulp fiction world, Shank 2 puts players back in control of their favorite ex-mobster hitman, Shank. Klei has evolved the combat experience with precise controls, new weapons, smarter enemies, and more advanced combo techniques, all set to the backdrop of beautiful 2D art and animation. I have had some good memories with Syndicate when it originally launched as a Bullfrog developed and EA published title on floppy discs. I actually still own those originals but installing them would be a pain on a modern machine.

Today Good Old Games, better known as GOG, has released this exact game for 5.99 Dollars on their site and should please retro fans everywhere.
