Hi All,

I am getting ready for a change of website soon. My hosting with siteground.com comes to the end around the 13th July and I have decided to go the ‘free’ route for the website.

Ever since my move of house in December 2007 it has been hard for me to get the show recorded. In fact I am only just getting the studio re-set up in a spare bedroom even now in July 2009.

I was also a little dismayed with the lack of feedback and material I was receiving from the Hospital Radio community.

I don’t want to stop doing the podcast completely and will instead try to produce a few good quality episodes each year which relevant and useful material in them so please do subscribe to the rss feed – http://feeds.feedburner.com/onairpodcast and you will be aware of any changes or new content.

Well – it’s been a while!

There have been a number of reasons for the lack of podcasts. The main reason was that when we moved in December 2007 I have to pack up my studio and I haven’t unpacked it yet!

Also I felt that perhaps people were not getting out of it as much as I first thought they would.

Well I am hoping to setup my studio within the next 2 months so I may well record a little podcast and see how it goes.

In the meantime I have been working on a new site hosted by wordpress.com which will not cost me the £50 per year that the previous site was costing me as I don’t have the money for it this time around. In this transition I have to move files around and you may well receive old podcasts down the feed as I re-link to things.

I have been adding in to the feed the Bruce Shakespeare plays here has made which you can use on your HR station to fill some programming gaps – enjoy and feel free to email onairpodcast@gmail.com to say hi.

Apologies for the delay in getting out a podcast. I do have the recording of Paul Blitzs’ talk in Leeds about broadcasting from the wards to get out and I shall probably record some stuff at the Autumn conference.

I have been speaking to the PR company for Hospedia ltd who have taken over from Patientline and I hope to bring you an interview with them by October – depending on the Office for Fair Trading decisions.

My house is still in a mess so my studio is still not built so I have no facilities at home at present.

Hi All,

Just so you know I am still in the land of the living. I am still without my own studio at home whilst building work continues on my new-ish place.

This work is causing me high stress and so until it is sorted I won’t be putting out another podcast unless something really big happens.
