Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message “NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION” was removed.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,
No longer Voluntary

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program.
Now 7.65% on the first $90,000 plus your employer pays another 7.65% on your behalf. Self-employed workers pay the entire 15.3% from the first dollar of wages.

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year.
It is no longer tax deductible

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program.

Under Democrat President Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

Under Democrat President Clinton & AlGore that was changed. Now 85% of your Social Security can be taxed.

Many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month, finding out that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to “put away.”

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent “Trust Fund” and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.

Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice-President.

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments. The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it.

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve.

Paris Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas Friday night after cocaine was found in her purse!!

The passenger, Paris Hilton, was arrested on cocaine posession and her driver/boyfriend on a DUI charge.

The boyfriend, Cy Waits, runs a nightclub in the Wynn hotel and they were busted just outside.

Of course the cocaine found stashed in Paris’ 10,000 dollar purse wasn’t hers. She was then booked at the Clark County Detention Center and quickly released this morning.

Paris has had quite a busy summer keeping the drug war going on in Mexico where most of American drug addicts cocaine comes from. Maybe that is why most all the celebrities support an open border.

European Socialists React to Failed Policies

Europeans have stumbled upon the truth that Socialism only works if everyone but the rulers live in poverty, but they have quickly dusted themselves off and looked around hoping that no one has noticed.

The euro has been rescued for the moment, possibly to give Barack Obama time to finish socializing America, but Europeans have thrown their common currency overboard with an unprecedented bailout package for Greece. The working class in Greece can now continue their three day work week and retire in their 50’s on the government’s dime for a short time longer. The dangers of the crisis will only increase as they flood billions of euros into nation after nation trying to save their failing socialist form of government. Inflation will eat away at working people’s paychecks like salt eats the flesh of a slug.

European Socialists are bringing their banks back as zombies, and brain-dead companies are being kept alive on life support. Politicians started the too-big-to-fail problem by excepting corporate bribes for turning their heads and selling us out. American Politicians have followed suit.

The major part of the policy response to the crisis has been more financial consolidation and bigger to-big-to-fail corporations. They allowed JP Morgan to buy out Bear Stearns and Bank of America now proudly owns Merrill Lynch. What we now have are financial institutions that are even bigger and have billions of tax dollars to keep their pocket politicians in hookers and Dom Perignon for eternity.

Those institutions know if they do something very risky and win, they will all make billions. If they lose, their buddies in the loop will gladly bail them out again. No one will lose their oceanfront mansion, french maid, pool boy, golden parachute or their 50 million dollar bonus.

And why not? The corporate billionaires and the politicians are so tightly spooned in the bed that their is plenty of room for the moist pantied, star-struck Katie Couric and a few, suddenly mute enviormentalists and war protesters.

In November we have a decision to make. Are we going to go the way of Europe and live in poverty, begging the government for bread and cheese, or are we going to stand up against these traitors that have lied their way into office and bankrupted our once richest nation on the planet?

There are dozens of citizens turned candidates that truly believe most Americans take personal responsibility for their own families, neighborhoods, towns, and states. Candidates that will support the ones that carry the water, not the ones that only drink.

The judge sentenced her to 90 days in jail for skipping her court appearance last month while she was out of the country.
