We do know that human and all living things adapt in manner depends on their environment. It's part of the survival instinct that would allow living things to continually exist.

This introduction thus have something to say with what the title of this article.

What I'm saying is that the change from what we are accustom to is part of environment that we are living in and for us to survive we need to adapt. In this case, we need to adapt with the changes in our transportation system from fuel to electric.

Like in the old adage "change is inevitable" as such we can't escape the changes happening in our environment. The only way to survive is to adapt and the common denominator here is to accept and learn to embrace it.

There's no point to resist it as that would definitely going to happen and it's destined to happen. Don't even exert an effort as that would only put to waste.

Surely, this change has more pros than cons (as much as I can observe). Ultimately, the beneficiary of these changes is us. We as human and all living things that need to exist to continue the life form on earth.

Regardless of what we believe in, make sure it is not for selfish motive but instead for the benefit of mankind.

How to copy the JWPLAYER video on a website?

This may seem a common question for people who loves to download videos on the web. You can or cannot be able to download depends on the site. Earlier today, I tried to download a video however, it doesn't allow me, as there no option to download the video.

With no other option than to ask Google for answer, in a click of a button, I was able to came across a site with an instruction. This is not something new. It could be familiar but for the benefit of other who weren't aware of this, I take the liberty to share it with you.

The instruction is for the videos without an option (either you right click on the play button) to download it. Particularly, this is for JWPLAYER videos.

Below are the step by step instruction:

- Open chrome
- open developer tools (ctrl+shift+i)
- click network
- run / reload JW videos
- click size column on network tab
- look for largest file size (usually named videoplayback or mp4 extension)
- right click videoplayback
- open link in new tab
- copy url and close tab

The instruction is specifically for Chrome browser. If you able to use this instruction in other browsers, just comment below so other can do the same.

Have you notice that some of the websites have this restriction where you cannot right click anywhere on the webpage. This is one of the security precaution that website programmer do, so it will be a bit of a challenge for hackers to manipulate the website. But how if you want to save something on the website like songs, letters or short story. These steps are very simple, even a novice in web programming can do.

By the way, any web browser will work for this simple step.

1. Save the webpage on your desktop.

for chrome - Go to Google Control Panel; then click more tools; then click save page as.

IE user - Just click File then click Save as.

2. Open a new browser; then type (as it is) in the address field VIEW-SOURCE:

3. Open the webpage that you save in the desktop.

4. Copy the address showing in the address field and paste it to the other open browser which shows the VIEW-SOURCE: add it in here the address then press enter.

How to turn off auto update in Lollipop 5.1.1

Recently, I made an attempt to update my mobile phone to Lollipop 5.1.1 which eventually a successful one. At first, everything runs smoothly but I noticed that each time I open my WiFi an automatic update keeps on running which is somehow I don’t intend to get these apps updated. The reason is that it slows down my mobile and it will easily run out of memory space to my mobile which is not expandable.

So then I attempted to go over to my mobile to turn-off the automatic update. I knew that my settings in Google play is already set to “Do not auto update”. So I was clueless as to why it still run when I open my WiFi.

Thus I decided to go over more my mobile settings and truth enough it’s where it all started. The updates I made on the Operating System Lollipop 5.1.1 kick start the auto update of the system such as OneDrive etc.

See steps below which I did to turn off the auto update in Lollipop 5.1.1. This apply to Samsung S6 edge. Not sure with other mobile devices though.

1. Go to mobile settings then
2. Developer options – from here you click it and see options On/Off
3. so switch to Off

Additional to this:
1. Go to mobile settings then
2. About the device
3. Go to software update
4. from software update – turn off the Wi-Fi only which it turned on when the OS update I made.

So there, it’s easy as it sound but it's all about discovering things on your own thus really a goes a long way

Travel: Tagaytay Getaway 2015 with Family

I just wanna share the Summer vacation I had this year. Gladly, that I went there with family and it was a blast. Honestly, this was my first time in Tagaytay, though I'd been in Baguio but not in the 2nd summer destination of the Philippines. I know how the place looks nice in the picture but after I saw it in for real then I realized it was really beautiful and breathtaking.

Can you imagine a volcano sitting in bed of water was just astonishing creature of mother earth. Add to that, the place is just fascinating full of greenery and fresh air.

But all of this is just an icing in the cake for what really this tour is about is our family bonding.

Just wanna share some of the photos I had cause I cant help myself but just to take pictures of the beautiful place.

I know how this was a very late post since this tour was last June 13-14, 2015 and it is really really late entry as I haven't updated this blog for months. Just please bear with me as I'm busy with work.

Anyways, it's better too be late than never so here it goes...

By the way, this tour was a package which I arranged through the travel agency that I am an affiliates (also will create a separate entry for this one so watch out for it hehehe). It was a nice experience because since its a package tour you have not to worry where will you go and what places to visit since you have a tour guide/driver of the van that comes in the package and someone to break the silence when we don't have much to talk about while in the van was a clear help too (no pun intended we are just too silent people).

I'll post how this trip possible in the next entry, the places we'd been and also the travel agency that I'm an affiliates with so I can tell how things going currently on this one.

The start of the year 2015 has been a roller coaster for the Philippines. The month of January so far already have a half-full of big surprises with good and bad news.

Such an ironic event happened in the Philippines, I must say. The introduction of January for us was the visit of Pope Francis which left many Filipinos inspired and in high spirit. He delivered a message about Mercy and Compassion.

But, then just almost two weeks when he left a devastating news came out that envelopes our nation.

The 44 Filipino Police Elite Officers had been perished due to alleged "misencounter" with rebel group.

Whatever the outcome of the investigation of this ill-fated encounter, let us assure that the dignity and sacrifice of this bravemen will not put into waste and we should always remember them that they are the people who do their job very well.

Let the next generation realize this act of professionalism that no one can replace.

I just wanted to share the experience I had with Pope Francis. This is a picture trying to get a glimpse of him in personal. Though, it's far but the moment you know you see him flesh is a blessing enough for me.

Pope Francis was in the Philippines last Jan 15 - 19, 2015. I was at work when he had a schedule "Encounter with Family" in SM MOA Arena, Pasay. I'm blessed that I don't have to wait that long just to take a picture of him since my office is just beside the Arena.

But if you’re a responsible credit card user, there are some things that you should always buy with your credit card. “There are some nice perks associated with using a credit card,” according to Curtis Arnold, founder of CardRatings.com, in an interview with Main Street. “But all these perks never get utilized because people don’t know about them.”

Below, we’ve listed the five things you should always buy with your credit card. Not only will putting these purchases on plastic make your life easier, but you’ll earn rewards while you’re at it:

1. Bills, bills, bills. Are you already diligent about paying your credit card bills on time? You’re missing out by not enrolling your phone, electric, and other bills to your credit card’s autocharge facility. Doing this has several advantages: You earn rewards points on your card for bills you already pay anyway You only have to remember one due date You don’t have to waste time falling in line paying for bills All you have to do is pay your credit card bill at the end of the month and all your bills are taken care of HSBC cards have AutoCharge, which allows you to enroll your PLDT, Globe, Sun Cellular, and SkyCable bills, among others. EastWest Bank credit cards also have a Quick Bills Facility covering utility and telco bills, and even Philam Life and PhilPlans. Check whether your credit card has an autocharge feature. Enrolling is as simple as filling out a quick form, and once you’ve done that, you don’t have to worry about bill payments falling through the cracks any more. Remember, though, that if you close your credit card, you should update your bill payment methods as well so you don’t run into difficulties.

2. Plane tickets. Travel is expensive. And when you figure in the cost of travel insurance, it adds up to even more. Fortunately, many credit cards give you complimentary travel insurance when you buy your plane tickets with your card. When you pay with cash, you don’t get this benefit, so when it comes to travel, always buy with your credit card. Security Bank’s Gold Mastercard gives you free insurance when you use your card to buy tickets, so you can prepare for flight delays, cancellations, and other mishaps that may occur on your trip (knock on wood). RCBC Bankards have the Travel Plus Lite and Plus Insurance programs, which provides cover for accidental death, dismemberment, and/or disablement, recovery of travel expenses for cancellations and terminations, and travel inconvenience benefits like baggage and flight delays. 3. Appliances and electronics. Things break easily. The fancy gadgets and appliances you buy may or may not come with their own warranties. What a lot of people don’t know is that buying these things with a credit card can provide warranty (if the thing you bought doesn’t come with one) or extend it, giving you protection on your new purchase. Simply paying for these purchases with a credit card gives you an extra layer of security, knowing that you get stronger warranty assurances than if you just paid for it with cash. Read the fine print of your credit card to find out if you can get warranty by using it. For example, the BDO American Express Gold Credit Card insures any purchase you make with the card from theft, loss or damage within 30 days (up to P50,000 per occurrence). The PNB Essentials Card covers your purchased items against accidental damage and theft for 90 days from the date of purchase.

4. Overseas purchases. Exchanging money to foreign currencies when traveling is a sure-fire way to lose money. If you exchange at a Travelex at the airport, you get worse rates than you’d get at the bank. A foreign bank, while giving you better rates than currency exchanges, usually charges an extra fee if you don’t already have an account with them. And if you have money left over at the end of your trip and you change it back to pesos, you’ll essentially lose money twice due to the unfavorable exchange rates you get. Of course, you could always withdraw money from an ATM using your ATM card, but that comes with its own fees. Using a credit card while you’re travelling abroad helps you avoid these charges. Let’s look at this example. BPI credit cards charge a 0.75% foreign currency conversion fee, along with an additional 1% Visa or 0.8% MasterCard assessment fee. Meanwhile, making a foreign currency withdrawal with a BPI ATM card charges a 2% fee (if over US$175; if below that, the charge is US$3.50). And that doesn’t include the fees that the ATM you’re using will charge you — for example, Bank of America charges $3 for non-Bank of America customers. Of course, you should still have some cash on you when you travel for emergencies and small purchases, but as much as possible, use your credit card, especially if the fees are more favorable for you. And with some cards, you’ll earn rewards much faster when you use your card for travel. The HSBC Platinum Visa lets you earn 4x the bonus points on overseas purchases.

5. Online purchases. There are a lot of payment methods out there now that let you buy things online, but credit cards are still the easiest, most secure way to pay for these purchases. The warranties you can get with your credit card (see #3) apply to your online purchases, so if it’s lost in transit or damaged within the time period, you can file a claim with your credit card institution. Many cards also provide virtual credit card numbers you can use to shop online with. Simply check with your bank for your virtual credit card options to keep your account secure when you buy things from online stores. Some cards come with additional protections for online purchasing. Security Bank cards come with eSecure, which lets you set limits on your internet purchases to lessen the likelihood of internet fraud making a significant dent in your bank account. Benefits like these aren't available with Cash on Delivery options or wire transfer payments, so these purchases should always be made with plastic.

For some including me, I don't wear my so called 'in-style' clothes in an ordinary day or when I'm just going to work. Most of the time when I'm outside like going to the mall or just buying something, I don't exert much effort to think of what to wear.However, I still make sure, in my own way I look decent of course comfortable with what I'm wearing. I think each one of us have different purpose of how we want to look either for ourselves or for others. But most importantly, we are happy and confident on our look. It's not just a matter of having a designer clothes or high price garments but the feeling of self-assurance that we look good and comfort it gives to us. Add to that, we could prolong the wear-ability of our 'in-style' clothes because we don't wear them often.

Many to none of us would want to commute. As the hassle of commuting is really frustrating and annoying. For sure we have unique to common story to share. As for me, it is not unusual that you find commuting by train a headache. I say that because most of the time train ride can be so full of people and it seems impossible to get inside the train. This often happens in over populated city. It's pretty obvious that the reason behind that would be a lot of people in the city uses the train as the means of transportation. Other than that, train ride is one of the affordable way to go anywhere in the city. As for most of us, who always ride train going to work. We should always make sure we bring with us a lot of patience and tolerance as we ride the train. This could help us from getting carried away with frustration and can lead to confrontation with other people who might give us a hard time riding the train.

This weather condition (Habagat) that affecting the Philippines as of the moment is really unprecedented in many form. I say that because, according to PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration ), the 24-hr accumulated rains of this Heavy Habagat has surpassed Ondoy. Habagat has (472 mm) of rainfall while Ondoy has (455mm) of rainfall. If I may recall, Ondoy has more power in terms of rainfall in a span of just 6 hours however, this Habagat have the longest rainfall and the amount of rain is massive.

We don't usually accumulate flood water unless the other area in our place is already flooded. For the second time around, first it was Ondoy because of heavy rains that Habagat brought, our place accumulate an ankle deep of flood water. Not as enormous as what in other areas of Manila incurred, but still something to worry about. May we all learn to appreciate and take care of our environment, so that this won't happen again.

There's a lot of ways to say Happy Birthday. You can say, "Natal Day", "Born Day" or simply "Birth Day". In any way, it's something to celebrate and remembering the time you first acquire the space in the world. Also, in different languages Happy Birthday would be say in Korean as "Saeng il chuk ha ham ni da!", Tagalog "Masayang Kaarawan" and French "Joyeux anniversaire, or Bon anniversaire". There are times that we were looking for something only to find out that we unintentionally discover much better thing than what we have initially in our mind. This happened to me a few times and just recently, I was trying to look for instructional video and found one. The odd thing, I was not focusing on the video itself rather on the music behind the video. This situation perhaps common to others however, for me this is something special and it gives a good message for me. I know for some this is kinda mushy and all but I don't mind. The truth is this video is inspiring and help us to be more appreciative with higher power. Whatever your faith is, you'll get to see the message clear.

As I always do, I posts topic here on my blog about valuable tips that will make a positive impact in my life and to others. Here is a topic about boosting your confidence on finding job and setting a goal for this year 2010. It was written by Susan Whitcomb, a well known career advisor and the author of the best-selling "Magic Series" published by JIST, including Job Search Magic, Interview Magic, and Resume Magic, now in its 4th edition.

1. Be Intentional: That’s right. #1 on the list requires that you focus on being intentional. It all starts with awareness. What do you need to do to stay focused on your goals and not let the busyness and distractions of life take you off course? 2. Make Space for Career Management: Like exercise, it won’t happen unless you make space for it. Set aside time, at a minimum once a month, to evaluate where you are with your career plans and what adjustments you might need to make. 3. Find Out What Your Boss (or Boss To Be) Wants: It’s impossible to experience career success without intersecting your desires with what your employer needs. When is the last time you asked your boss “How can I help you be wildly successful?” 4. Share with Your Boss What You Want: Frame it in the context of company goals. For example, “Mr. Boss, I’m committed to helping XYZ Company continue on its course of success. Down the road, I see myself _____ [fill in the blank – for example, “contributing in a director role and coordinating new product launches that will allow us to be first-to-market in Web-based widget solutions.”] Then ask, “What would it take to make that happen?” 5. Leverage & Collaborate with Your Career Community: These days, it takes the cooperation and collaboration of teams to make real progress. Who are the key members of your career community—the people who can help you get where you want in your career? Who needs to be added to that community? How can you reach out to them, learn what they need, and deepen connections? 6. Know Your Value: Can you identify how you deliver a return-on-investment to your employer? If not, start thinking about how you can make them more money, save them money, solve important problems. This will allow you to become the “hunted” and not a “hunter” of new opportunities. 7. Know Your Values: Are you honoring your values in your current work? Do you know what your values are? Whether it be the ability to make a significant contribution, work with integrity, take risks, etc., knowing your values and living by them is the one thing you can always control during the day. 8. Don’t Give Away Your Power: If you’re in a difficult situation, don’t resign yourself to thinking, “I’m stuck. There are no options. This is the way it’s always going to be.” Instead, remember the saying “If it’s going to be, it’s up to me.” There are always options you can take action on, even if it’s only reframing your perspective. 9.FAIL Forward: A wise soul once said that FAIL stands for “From All I Learn.” Make 2010 a year of learning, even in those places of unmet expectations and disappointments. Ask yourself, “What do I want to learn in this situation that will benefit my career long-term?” Likewise, identify what new skills, competencies, or credentials you want to add to your toolbelt in 2010. 10. Be an S.O.S. Worker: S.O.S. stands for Serve Others Selflessly. I’m not advocating being a doormat or a candidate for abuse. I am advocating that you “find the need and fill it,” without an agenda or expectation of a payback. Trust that it will come to you. Those who persevere, prosper.

Long Vacation in Blogging

It's been (Let me count, more than two weeks) even before that I haven't posted any entry on my blog except just for the holiday greetings (lol!). Well, isn't too obvious that I'm lacking inspiration to post or maybe I'm bored about all of this. I tell you, for the past few weeks I've been lazy and been a couch potato. I have to admit I lack inspiration to post anything, that's why as you can see on my previous entries, it's all just copy topic from the internet. So now, I decided to at least create one to three entries per week just to make sure that my blog still up on the radar of Google. Hope to start the year with positive and happy energy.. COME YEAH!!!
