Although I’ll still close down the blog in October, And my posting frequency will be low (once a week or so) I’m very happy and proud to announce that I will be joining the Phase 3: Profit! network!

This post just to say thank you!
I’ve gotten more mails in the last week then I’ve had the last year of you guys! (32 mails to be exact!), I’ve gotten great comments, and even a farewell post!

So hereby again Thank you to all! Special thanks to Zekta! I won’t forget you man! And twitter will keep us in touch! And if I feel the urge to blog again you’ll be able to see my posts over at his site! (if he still wants me by then)

I’ve also just noticed: this is my 250th and final post, so this is great closure!

I’m playing EVE online a lot(read: 1h max a day) and am thinking of setting up a blog about it, yet it kind of feels like betrayal… time will tell of course!

I’m just going to come out and say it:
I’m done.

I’ve quit playing wow a couple of months ago, and continued blogging a bit after, yet everyone noticed my posts comming less and less frequently.
And today is the day that I have to say I’m sorry but I’m done with this.

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy WoW but it’s sooo goddamn slow! I don’t mean the game pace, but the updates. I’ve been staring at a wall ever since February where I entered Icecrown. In the last year of wow nothing has changed NOTHING. in the last 5 years the raiding scene has become easier (good) and more accessible (very good) but also it stayed the same, kill 5 bosses in a row for loot and let’s do it again next week. Ulduar was the last real Raid, and I’m sorry but I can’t pay 30 bucks every 2 months for re chewed content.
I love wow and I’ll probz level a toon through cataclysm again, but that’s it.
I’ve seen all there is to see from raiding to pvp to rp I did it all, enjoyed it all and am past it all. I’ve played through the game with every class to 80 as dps, tank and healer, pvper and pver and I can honestly say that there is nothing left to do that interests me.

So here I draw the line, I had a lot of fun blogging about WoW, it even let me develop my short story writing. (Published in EON magazine!) And it did wonderfull things for my English .(okaj maybe not)

I’ve been ignored, gotten into a flame war, got linked, made friends and a lot more. I enjoyed all of you readers, And I enjoyed your company. I hope you learned something in the progress and that you’ll use the knowledge in cataclysm.

The blog will remain here until October. After which it will probably disappear. Maybe I’ll start a new blog in a bit (since I’m playing EVE and DDO again) and maybe not. aah the future is so beautiful and scary at the same time!

Now let’s drop the goblin mask for 2 seconds:

I thank the community for being wonderfull.

Yeah you’ll have to wait a bit for the podcast folks, again sorry. The problem here is the timezone. I’m on gmt and Coffelord is on … euhm well something American, which makes it pretty difficult to actually meet up on skype. Normally we do it at friday but since I’ve been gone the podcast missed 2 weeks of shows already!

Well we’ll try to do it tomorrow or friday and I’ll get some stuff ready so you’ll get a big long 2H(!!!) show! Look at it for my “making up” gift.

In the meantime, be sure to have a look at the post below this! It’s a great way to show of your own skills and knowledge and maybe even get some fame for your blog while your at it!
The alchemy questions is not an easy one, but yet I found a way to still make an easy buck in the last weeks of raiding and lvl80 end-game that I’ll be sharing not only with the man that asked the question but also with you guys on the podcast.

oh btw: Donate button is broken… AGAIN so don’t try to donate… yet!

Alchemy Questions

So yeah the podcast didn’t get recorded last night due to a power failure at my house, damn storm!

oh well at least I’m not leaving you high and dry. I got this email saturday and I’m awnsering it at the podcast, now since it’s also nice to know what you guys think I’ll be posting the question here already: help the guy out and show off your Gold-making skills!

I came across you blog/podcast during wednesday’s EU down time : )

I have 5000 flasks stockpiled and i want to sell them

They sell on ah for 15-17g each.

Now i have this stokcpile because i have been using the Zamboni method of resource starvation on anything linked with flasks, so frost lotus, lichbloom, icethorn, goldclover,etenral life, adders tongue, deadnettle, tiger lily.

So every week i always have more flasks crafted than i can sell.

I’ve managed to raise the price of frost lotus and frozen orbs from 12-13g to 20g+ but flask prices have remained the same at the ah.

Herb prices are all up this week anyways because DMF is in town and two people (with a good chunk of cash) are gobbling up herb mats for insane title.

what else can i do to raise the price of flasks? i cancel reposted all my flasks of endless rage to 25g a couple of days ago but 5-6 people undercut me to 15g within minutes (i’m already starting to dislike competitors ghost posting using the Remote auction house).

For every gold i can push the price of flasks up i basically make an extra 5k gold

5000 flasks @ 15g = 75k
5000 flasks @ 20g = 100k
5000 flasks @ 25g = 125k

I’ve been thinking a lot about this flask scenario because it’s a lot of gold and i am not sure how to play it.
Worst case scanrio is i can sell them for 14g/ea in trade and make 70k.This will clear out all my stockpile in one day.

Maybe you and your listeners/readers could help me

Also i still have 200ish stacks of lichbloom ” left over”, i was thinking about stockpiling it all because people might be interested in being ‘flasked’ for the level 80-85 journey?

Wooooooowwwww! I’m back, I’m back oh yeah I had the most wonderfull time in France the last week…not really, I was there with work (yet again) and once again a 3-day job turned into a 7-day disaster. Lucky for me though this was the last planned trip out of the country untill my vacation comes in, with other words… no more dead air space for more then a week on the blog!

So to give you a run down on what we want to do here:
- Podcast! yes yes You’ll get the 4th podcast this monday don’t worry about it. and in a couple of episodes we will start bringing in other bloggers as well! I just need to finalize what we are going to talk about and when we are going to do it.
- Verbal B2B, since we try to give some tips every episode I thought it was pretty nice to turn get a true “guide” section in the blog on how to make money. (comment on this! I want to know if you like it!)
- Do you remember the WAR posts? what if they came back? on the podcast? Social vs Goblin WAR!

and the last and probably the most important announcement, well a question.

Do you want a longer podcast (2h orso) or is it at a good length? Do you want posts during the week or just the podcast? With other words:
Do you want to keep the written blog? or should One Copper transform into a fully fledged podcast?

So the podcast should be up by now since It’s done, well it was done like 3h ago even but yeah let’s just say I’m starting to hate godaddy.com and here is why:
