<blockquote><p>Sixty-four percent of those surveyed said their brands do not influence decisions made at their companies.</p>
<p>For those who responded that their brands did not influence organizational decisions, the causes cited included: Incentives do not support the importance of brand (51%), inability to prove the brand’s financial benefit (49%), current branding expertise is not widely accepted (40%) and metrics do not support the importance of brand (39%).</p></blockquote>

<p>Three EU companies feature in the top ten: Nokia in 5th place (up from 17th), with an R&amp;D investment of €5.3 billion, Volkswagen in 9th (up from 14th) and Daimler in 10th (down from 5th). The world&#8217;s biggest investor in R&amp;D in 2008 is Microsoft, with €5.6 billion. Il Premio andrà alla migliore azione di micromarketing diretta a creare valore, per l&#8217;azienda e per il consumatore, attraverso le informazioni di cliente.</p></blockquote>
