In our youth, bending to pick up a ball, getting up from a chair or sitting down for that matter was not something we thought twice about. However, with age and added weight, our joints become more fragile and sensitive, and the thought of carrying out these simple actions reminds us of the pain they will cause. Luckily, the way to treat this ailment is simple. As we age, our bodies require more nutrients, and our bodies’ stores of these nutrients can become depleted if our diet isn’t made up of the supplements that will renew these stores. Therefore, joint pain can be eliminated by flooding your body with certain doctor recommended vitamins and minerals.

Flexcin

Flexcin a joint pain remedy that guarantees results. This formula was created by doctors who specialize in treating joints. First time users with severe joint pain will notice a marked improvement in their joints after just two to four weeks of taking this supplement. Flexcin is made of all natural ingredients, and there are no side effects or cons to taking this on a regular basis. Also you don’t have to worry about it interfering with any medications you are taking, as it can be used by those on prescription and nonprescription meds.

Flexcin Ingredients:

Flexcin contains five powerful active ingredients.

Glucosamine
Glucosamine is a substance found naturally in our bone’s cartilage, and when taken as a supplement, it boosts the strength of our joints.

CM8

CM8 is a natural ingredient that lubricates the joints and prevents pain by stopping inflammation.

MSM

MSM is also an all natural ingredient found in strong and healthy cartilage. Here, it works to build up cartilage and make it stronger.

Hydrolized Collagen Type II

This type of collagen allows your joints to seamlessly produce stores of new connective tissue.

Bromelain

This is yet another ingredient that works as an anti-inflammatory agent.

Also, ask about the joint maintenance formula. Once Flexcin takes away immediate pain, this joint maintenance formula from the same company works on restoring your joints to their youthful state so you never have to experience pain in your joints again.

Flexcin works most quickly when the recommended dosage is taken daily as instructed. To make sure you can do this for the full two to four weeks without running out, it is best to just order two bottles at once. It will usually cost you around $100 for two bottles, but if you order today, you can get both bottles for under $50. With the recommended dosage, that means you’re paying about a dollar a day to get rid of your terrible joint pain. What’s more, there are no doctors, surgery, knee braces or bandages involved. Visit Flexcin to order today and get some well deserved relief from your joint discomfort.

I think there is a point in everyone’s life where you’d had “that” headache. The headache that is no fun. It might stop or slow down your activity. Headaches happen. There are times in life that can be stressful and they in turn can lead to a headache.

Excedrin wants to know.. Who deserves Excedrin the most? You can head over to the contest on their facebook page. Through a series of humorous video vignettes, Excedrin will bring to life 16 headache inducing situations that undoubtedly everyone can relate to. Sixteen groups of headache suffers will go head to head but only one will will be voted most deserving of Excedrin. Entry is easy! Just click like on their page, read about the different groups and watch the videos and the vote for your favorite. Sun, sand and a relaxing slow pace. This is the perfect way to cure those headaches!

I checked over the videos and as I looked through them, I could relate to all the situations and all the headaches that come with them all. I’d have to say for me Technology Crashers is one of the top for me. Since I rely on the internet, a connection and my computer to do my blog and my job, I can relate to that so very much. I’ve had a crash before. They are NEVER fun and they always come with headaches. For me there was also a large tie with Customers on Hold. I do a lot of phone work. Hearing the hold music triggers a crazy amount of insanity to me. I don’t do well with being on hold! I think many people feel that way. I do have to say though that it’s not just the hold, it’s the prompts that you have to do to get through! It’s crazy and some days, you are on the phone trying to multi-tasking and getting things for the children and then the prompts want to hear my voice. I say something to a child and it pushes me back and says it doesn’t understand my request. It’s a never ending cycle.

Learn more about Excedrin:

Potty Training is one of those things that is every parent has to deal with. It can be easy and it can be incredibly hard. I have 2 kids and had to potty train them both. While I was potty training I often asked questions from friends. Neither of my kiddos potty trained the same. Both were SO different. I got insight from other parents, online and other sources. It was a long process and a learning process for me as a mom. Since both of my children were different, tricks that worked with one didn’t work with the other. Some did, but most didn’t. When you are potty training one thing remains.. It HAS to be a POSITIVE experience. If they have an accident, it’s okay. If you make that accident overly negative, they are going to remember that. Keep it positive. With both of the kids we had books and even a DVD. Now things are evolving and there are electronics, which appeal to kids, but also help them learn so many things. Potty Training Learning With The Animals is a great interactive game that will help your kiddo get familiar with the potty and how everyone uses the potty, even animals.

The app comes pre-loaded in 6 languages! I love that! It reads you a short story and then the interaction begins. You can click an animal (or the girl) and it opens up and you tap to help the animal or girl use the potty! It’s very cute and interactive.

The animals and the girl really love it when you help them. You can see the green arrows above in the screen shots. You tap them and then the animal or girl will successfully use the potty. I love the little girl. She’s preloaded with the potty dance and all. It’s nice and realistic for the kids to see.

Potty Training Learning With Animals is available in the iTunes store. You can also follow development and more on their Facebook page.

I’m a huge fan of LYSOL products. I have been using them ever since I moved out of my parents house. I trust the brand. My mom always used LYSOL. I never questioned it, I just picked the same products she trusted. Now I have small children and children in school here all year around. This makes cold and flu season a nightmare. Kids touch EVERYTHING!

It’s not a matter of you telling them yes or no, kids are kids and play is play. They end up in a world of possibilities. I love my LYSOL products around the house. I vacuum and then I spray the rooms with LYSOL at least once a week. It doesn’t stop there though. We have LYSOL’s new dispensers that keep our hands germ free. I love the way the products are designed and that they are so easy that even my 9 year old can use them. LYSOL products are a must in our home. I love the variety of products offered by LYSOL as well. They have it all. Everything from disinfecting spray and disinfecting wipes to No Touch Hand Soap. All of the products are easy to find in my local stores and the prices are perfect! For the quality and the help I get from these products, I think it’s a fair price!

I also send LYSOL products to school in the beginning of the year and then again 1/2 way through the year. I hope that the teachers use these within the classrooms to control germs and start healthy habits! LYSOL is introducing the concept of Healthing – a new idea centered on keeping families as healthy as possible, by looking beyond just cleaning and ensuring that the proper steps are taken to stay well. Working together with television personality Giuliana Rancic, LYSOL has partnered together to visit YMCAs in select markets across the country to demonstrate Healthing in action. Healthing is more then just the cleaning! Start Healthing in your home today with LYSOL! You can learn more about the LYSOL Healthing Movement on their website or their Facebook page. There is ALWAYS some sort of shopping needed within a house. You are either shopping for household items, clothing, electronics, groceries or other things. I have to admit, I do try to group my shopping. I will do as many things at one store as I possibly can. I know that a lot of you will understand this. With kids, it’s easier to run into one store then multiple stores. I love a store that has it all. I’ve really learned to develop a game plan and stick to that plan. It generally works and I am left with a few stops over multiple stops.

Imagine browsing a site that’s mastered the art of one-stop shopping. With the limited amount of square footage in retail stores, we’re excited to know Sears offers an expanded assortment online. Thank goodness for unlimited virtual space! Don’t see a size, color or style you want in store? Visit the Sears website for millions of additional options at your fingertips (you might want to sharpen your decision making skills)! In addition to the trustworthy Sears brands you know and love, Sears.com carries some of your favorite designer brands like Tory Burch, Ray Bans, Nike & more! So go ahead and get everything you want in one place; you deserve it. With new arrivals every week, you never know what you’ll find! Check it out: http://bit.ly/X7zM09

What Are The First Steps Towards Opening a Bank Account?

As an essential step in any approach towards money management, opening a new bank account is something which requires a great deal of thought. You want to make sure you get the right account for you and that you know what will be expected of you when you enquire about setting it up.

Step 1: Application

To open a bank account you will have to fill in an application form, either in person at a branch or through online services. You will have to provide proof of your identity, including your full name, date of birth and address, usually by presenting two separate documents, one of which must be photographic. Any photographic identification must be valid – out of date passports, for example, will usually be declined.

The presentation of acceptable identification does not necessarily entitle you to open a bank account though and there may be other reasons why your application is declined.

Step 2: Choosing a bank

There are only a few major high street banks, but there are also a number of building societies which offer similar accounts and services. The choice between them may come down to whether they have a convenient branch near to where you live, work or study, or if they are offering certain deals or packages which are particularly useful to you.

Step 3: Identify potential problems

A bank doesn’t have to accept your application and nor do they have to give any reason why they might decline to have you as a customer. You may be refused permission to open a current account if you have a particularly poor credit rating, for example, so it is always worth checking the criteria to see if you’re eligible and to identify any potential problems you may have before looking to open new bank account.

Step 4: Read the terms and conditions

When you open an account with a bank or building society and use their services, you are entering into a joint contract. Each institution has its own terms and conditions which will vary from account to account, so you need to read these carefully before making an agreement.

Step 5: Wait

When you choose to open a new bank account, it can take up to 2 weeks for the whole process to be completed. This is due to checks that the bank will carry out to verify your details and also the time it takes to send you various items through the post, such as debit cards, cheque books and PIN codes.

Many of you have walked with me through the last year of my life. To be completely accurate it would be 1 year 2 months and 4 days 3 1/2 hours. If your not sure what I am referring to, I’m referencing to my accident. It’s been completely a fight and struggle. I’ve poured my heart and sole in to my treatment. As a result I neglected other things, like my blog, my friendships and my other health issues (my muscle disease). I really haven’t had the energy. I’ve spent so much time on healing. While my major milestone happened over summer when the orthopedic surgeon released me, I still had under the radar things to deal with like dental work. Today, March 26, 2013 I close the book. I woke up this morning knowing today would be a bittersweet day. I had a lot of emotion. I woke up, I worked out, I tried to stay busy until my appointment. I knew this was THE appointment. While I’ll be back to the dentist for other things, when I walked out of their door today I finally felt whole. I felt like a huge weight was lifted, physically and emotionally. My goal was to not use any anxiety medication. I know it seems very silly and even a little ridiculous, but when you’ve been through what I have, the smallest moments of anxiety take over and I’m unable to breath properly and function. I made it! No anxiety medication!!

As I walked in the door feeling nothing short of an overflow of emotion, I waited and waited. It was my turn. I walked back and got all the usual hellos and waves. EVERY dentist there knows me and has at some point assisted in my treatment.

I took my seat. They started. He placed the veneers that had been missing for over a year. I had a temporary piece in place, so it wasn’t too noticeable, but I knew. I could tell. That’s all that mattered. I was handled a mirror. I looked. My eyes welled up with water, but I held the tears back. I couldn’t believe that my mouth was whole once again. It was emotional.

As I walked out the door I walked past every dentist and every assistant that helped along the way. It was emotional and before I hit the door I was wiping tears. I truly felt like they cared! They’d all been there for my journey and they made me smile on the way out so they could see just how wonderful it all turned out. It’s an experience not one person wants to have with their dentist, but it’s an experience that I truly feel bittersweet about. I wish it would never have been, but it did. Instead I was given more support and love then I could have imagined.

So for me.. This is bittersweet. While I may face a surgery in the future (on my ankle, to reduce pain) I am for all sakes and purposes, medically together! It’s emotional. And when I think this is all because of a stupid seatbelt, the emotion I get is sad and angry. It was preventable. Instead I wasted 1 year 2 months and 4 days 3 1/2 hours..

Think about that folks!

I’ve truly had it with my cable TV service. I’ve had cable TV for over 10 years with Time Warner Cable. In the last year I’ve had to call at least once a week to have them “fix” my service. I say “fix” because they never take care of the problem. My cable boxes spend more time UNPLUGGED then they do plugged in and on. My DVR’s record if and when they want. I have several series set up to record and what happens? They record ALL the shows even though I am opting for only NEW episodes and also saying only at a specific time. So my DVR is full or creates conflicts for the shows I WANT to see.

My internet with them.. It’s even worse! It’s out all the time. They’ve blamed it on my router, so I went and bought a brand new TOP LINE router. Now they blame my laptop. Really? My laptop? That’s what your going with? How about the other 3 laptops, the desktop that is hard wire connected (not wireless) or the blu-ray player which is also hard wired or the iPads and the iPhones.. Yeah, they are all broke according to Time Warner Cable. Despite the fact that I can use ANY of them at my parents or anywhere else there is WiFi without ANY problem. NONE. So this my friends means Time Warner is the issue and they refuse to admit it or fix it. It’s old.. I’m done waking up to try and do things to find out.. My internet is OUT! Again and again. u

This morning I made a call.. I am switching to DirecTV and I couldn’t be happier. Even though it’s satellite and the weather worries me, I am taking that risk. I figure even if it’s completely out 5 days a month (which is unrealistic since our weather isn’t that bad) that’s better then what I have now! On top of that I only have the ability to record 4 shows right now. With DirecTV we can record up to 5. We also don’t have to worry about missing our favorite games anymore! The NFL Sunday Ticket comes with! The kicker.. My BILL. My bill will be $150 cheaper! Yes you read that correctly.. ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS cheaper. I’m cutting my bill in half and I will have more perks!

I’ve always been a girl who’s loved cable TV for the convenience, but it’s gotten to be awful, so I am ready to throw in the towel and call it a day! I’ve never been so excited to ditch a service in all my life! So long Time Warner! I would rather have NO service then use your craptastic service that I pay up the rear for!

You never know when it will come in handy or when you may need a part from something. I have saved so many things that my kids played with and will never use again. One thing I am particularly guilty of is keeping electronics. They can be working or broke, I keep them. I have old hard drives from computers that I really should transfer data to a larger external hard drive and get rid of them. I have a drawer full of old cell phones. I don’t want to just toss them. This has come in handy multiple times when friends phones have failed and needed warranty replacements. They borrowed in the meantime. I have donated some to the local women’s shelter here, but the I still have too many.

The kids have upgraded their hand held games a number of times through the years and guess what? I still have the old ones. In the process of my mission to declutter, I began looking at options. I wanted to see what options I had. I hate to throw them away, so I starting looking for someplace where I could maybe sell them or trade them in. Some money for them would be much better then having them age in closets (which is what’s happening now). I found out that Music Magpie buys electronics as well as CD’s and DVD’s! Since we buy all our music digitally and transferred the CD’s all on to a few hard drives, there is no reason to keep the clutter. My kids have outgrown SO many of the DVD’s and to be honest, they are FALLING off the shelves. It’s time to pack some of it up and ship it off. I like that I can plug my item and get a price, so I know right away if it’s something they will buy. Having two kids plus hubby and I the electronics, games, DVD’s, CD’s and cell phones add up. Why not make a little cash and sell them off! It’s a brilliant idea!
