This is Candy, Bobbie’s best friend of many years and fellow blogger, and I am coming here to ask you, her loyal fans and readers to please pray for her. She was in a car accident along with her husband and children. Her kids are fine, no injuries, her husband has some minor injuries, but Bobbie has been seriously injured. She was thrown from her car and she has a serious leg injury and facial injuries. It’s going to be a long painful recovery for our dear friend so please send any good thoughts and prayers her way, i know she will appreciate them and she will update you when she is feeling better.

Update January 26th – Bobbie is improving! She is able to see out of both eyes now and the drainage tubes have been removed. Still in a lot of pain but definitely on the mend. Thank you for your continued prayers!!

When I first shared the news of McKenna, I showed you some photos of the look, doll and come of the accessories. As expected the doll arrived and exceeded my expectations. I love her shoes! The colors are so neat and they are gymnast shoes! Her hair is a very pretty carmel colored hair. It’s straight and it’s about waist length. It’s already pulled back, but restyling into a pony tail is fun too. There are many accessories for McKenna, outfits and more. I think my favorite is her school outfit. My daughter loves the pajamas and off course would like the matching set for herself. Perhaps for that upcoming birthday!

{The First Snow} It comes every year. I love in the Midwest. I should be glad that it waited this long, but none the less, I still don’t like after all these years. I am not sure I will ever like it!

Eddie Bauer’s new Fairview collection is a really stylish and sheek look for any gender. Eddie Bauer has always been a company that takes pride in their products and their name, so you know that the quality is going to be nothing less then great. As expected, when we took a look at the Eddie Bauer Fairview Pack & Play, we loved it. There are so many features when it comes to this pack and play. It was really amazing to see how much things have changed since the last time I bought a pack and play. I still have my old one from my children and it’s stable enough to use, but it really lacks a lot of the features and many of the parts for the bassinet area on my pack and play are packed away in the basement. Since we’ve been using it primarily for my nephew, who is 2, we don’t need the baby parts on it. A few friends have also used it, but the children are not newborns either.

The details that are on the Fairview Pack & Play are really amazing. I love them. As I said the pattern was pretty gender neutral. It’s a plaid, maroon, grey and tan. The mattress that goes in is a light tan color, which was a little odd for me. I know that I have sheets for it, but this color really looks like it will stain easily. The sides on my old pack & play were straight. I liked that. This one the sides kind of dip down. I put my  two year old nephew in it (he’s under the weight limit) and although we have him sleeping in a toddler bed now, he fits in a pack & play because he’s smaller. The weight specifications on this pack and play are for a child 5-40 pounds. With the sides, he can easily escape, but he can out of the old one too. There is a small area on the end of the pack and play for storage of toys, diapers, etc. I really liked that. It’s attached, so there is no worry about it falling out. The elastic on top is tight so I don’t really see a toddler being able to reach over and grab things out of it.

There are also some other nice features on this pack and play. It has a performance styled canopy that fits on nicely and allows shade and also shields from siblings and light for peaceful naps. It also features 2 very cute tan teddy bears that hang from it in a mobile type fashion to entertain baby. The changing table attached very easily to the pack and play and clips in. It’s a really nice changing table and it “flips”  to come out of the way. I know this was a big plus for my brother, who expressed that his pack and play, which is newer then mine, clips on and it’s not as user friendly. I really LOVED the flip away too! It’s quick for mid night changes or even daytime changes.

I always hesitate when I read that something has “quick and easy set up“, but this truly was pretty quick. The bassinet pieces, changing table pieces and even the vibration unit that clips to the side for soothing, all fit in the carrying case. It has separate pocket on the side which fits all the accessories. I LOVED that!! You can take it all with you. I suppose if you did it more then a couple times, it would get easier and easier to take apart. I thought the changing table was a little difficult to take apart, but if I was going away for more then overnight, it would be worth taking apart to bring with. Otherwise I would leave the additional pieces like the canopy, changing table and bassinet at home. All together this pack and play weighs about 33 pounds. It features 2 wheels for easy moving that can lock in place when you have it where you need it. These wheels would make it nice for someone that couldn’t carry it from room to room or if you want to move it and it’s all opened and assembled.

Overall, I think this pack and play is an amazing item and well worth the money for all that is included. The Eddie Bauer Fairview Collection also has a matching Classic Wooden High Chair and Trailmaker Travel System with onBoard 35 Infant Seat. The collection is very modern. I LOVE the wooden high chair!

After reading a magazine article that insists if a woman has slept with at least 20 people that they have already missed Mr. Right, marketing executive Ally Darling (Anna Faris) begins to panic, thinking that she will be alone forever. With the help of her hunky new neighbor (Chris Evans), Ally starts tracking down all her ex-boyfriends, hoping to find her real true love while she helps him escape his latest fling. We watched the movie a few days ago and I really liked it. It’s the kind of movie that I really like, so I was glad that it was funny and everything that I had heard was right. Watching Ally on her journey to find Mr. Right was comical and heart warming. Her sister is getting married and her date to the wedding is a big hang up for both Ally and her mother. She’s the older sister in the movie. In the end, we learn that no one is perfect and that you don’t have to try so hard to find love. What’s Your Number is the perfect movie for girlfriends to watch or even for date night. It’s pretty universal!

I am really excited to be able to share information with you about the Kenmore brand and the things that I will be learning. It’s surely going to be a fun filled day and I am honored to be apart of it. First up.. a little reader challenge and giveaway!!

Now for me, I tried to think of some of my major appliances and ways that I use them. Of course there are no wrong answers to this question and it really got me thinking. I thought of a couple things that I use my household appliances for, that are “out of the ordinary”. My top appliance has to be my dishwasher! That poor machine! It gets used for so much more then DISHES. I don’t really care to dust, so I put all my little nick-nacks and glass items in the dishwasher. Less dusty and they are nice and clean! Here’s some other nice uses for the dishwasher:

• Wash your baseball caps
• Action figures and other small toys, including baby toys! Perfect for drool combat & sanitizing
• Ceramic cabinet knobs, oven knobs, baby proof door handle covers
• All plastic hairbrushes & combs
• Light fixture covers
• Vacuum Attachments
