It has been long time since Windows10 is released and the most amazing part of it is you can upgrade to Windows10 freely from your current Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. Many of us has already upgraded to windows10 but due to some reasons most of the users are again downgraded to their old windows. One of the main problem among them is no WiFi after upgrade, what ever we do the WiFi doesn't work at all. So, here is the solution that might help you:

First don't forget to check your WiFi button or switch is ON, unless it is ON nothing will change and always install the latest software updates. So, check the manufacturer site and see if any new updated driver sometimes it might fix the problem by installing the new version.

Still your problem is not solved? Then try the below solutions:

1. Enable/Disable your network adapter:
After upgrading to Windows10 your network adapter (LAN) or WiFi adapter may be disabled, you must enable it for functioning of WiFi. For enabling go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center on top left side click on Change adapter settings, if your LAN adapter or WiFi adapter is in grey color than it indicates they are disabled. To enable right click on adapter their you can see enable option click on it and this will enable your networking adapter and your WiFi will start functioning.(Sometimes you have to restart your computer after enabling)
If your network adapters are already enabled and still WiFi is not working, then try disabling and enabling the network adapter. Still problem not solved? Then try next solution.

Click on the image to enlarge

2. Enable WLAN service
Windows has a services viewer where you can check which services are running and which are stopped. Not only checking but you also start the service. To open services viewer go to File Explorer and right click on This PC, now click on manage and computer management window opens in that go to Service and Applications>Services>WLAN AutoConfig and double click on it, in general tab change the Startup type to Automatic and restart your computer. This will enable your WLAN service. (An image is provided for better and easy understanding)

Click on the image to enlarge

3. Power management
This solution is to change the power management settings of network adapter. For that go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center on top left side click on Change adapter settings and open properties for network adapter and then click on configure>Power management> Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." In some computers their may not be separate power management tab then go to Advanced>Power Saver>Change it to OFF.

4. Windows Firewall
Windows Firewall may be blocking all incoming WiFi signals. So, turn off your firewall for once and check if it works. For turning off go to Control Panel>System and Security>Windows Firewall>Turn Windows Firewall on or off(On left side).
Caution! Turning off windows firewall means your computer is exposed and won't block any potential harmful software or incoming connections. So, do this at your own risk.
If WiFi started functioning after turning off Windows Firewall and you doesn't want to turn off windows firewall permanently and turn it on, then change the settings so that even when firewall is on your WiFi works:
Windows Firewall>Advanced Settings>Inbound Rules scroll down to Core Networking and make sure that you enable all the private and public networks, but not the domain except for DIAL PROTOCOL SERVER(HTTP-IN) & iSCSI SERVICE and next scroll down to Network Discovery, select YES to all private and public, NO to domain. Set WiFi Direct Network Discovery, Scan Service use and Spooler use to YES. This change in settings will let you connect to WiFi.

5. Resetting Network Adapter
Resetting network adapter clears static IP if any. For resetting right click on start menu window logon icon and open Command Prompt(Admin). It is important to open the Command Prompt as admin. So, don't open normal command prompt, after opening type this exactly "netsh winsock reset catalog" and HIT Enter. Now restart your computer and this solves your problem, if still not solved then once again try the below command in Command Prompt(Admin) type this one exactly "netsh int ip reset" and HIT Enter, after when the process is completed restart your computer.

6. Device Manager(Uninstalling networking device)
If above steps didn't solve your problem then this is one of the best method. Uninstalling your network adapter device from device manager will fix your problem. Since, Windows10 automatically installs all the required drivers for your PC. To uninstall open Start Menu and search for Device Manager and after opening go to Network Adapters, right click on the wireless adapter and uninstall it (During uninstalling tick "Delete the driver software for this device" if it appears). After uninstalling restart your PC. Don't forget Windows10 will automatically install devices and its drivers. In any case uninstalled device is not installed automatically then install your network adapter driver manually.

The most commonly faced problem is unwanted search engines like

Delta search

Babylon toolbar

PlayThru Player

Stamplive

Binkiland

Delta toolbar

Facemoods

Offers4U

Visual Shopper

Qvo6

Search Assistant SearchWeb

Search result

Snap.do

Vitalia installer and many more.

in our browsers. These search engines are installed into our computer while installing any free software. Once they are installed they start appearing in browsers homepage and every tab of it. When we search for anything these search engines shows up and displays inappropriate results and too many annoying ads. Simultaneously they steal your personal information and sometimes they inject virus into our computers. Having a good antivirus software won't prevent you from suspicious activity it does and antivirus softwares can't detect them because you agreed to install agreement. Even though you change the homepage search engine they start appearing again and again. So, removing this search engines is a little bit tricky but not too difficult. Here in this post we have provided some of the ways to get rid of this unwanted search engines.

First things first:

While any installing any software read the user agreement carefully. I won't say to read the entire agreement as most of us may not be having time but have a glance at it because in that agreement it will mentioned that you agree to install search engines as mentioned above. So, pay some attention towards user agreement and the steps while installing the software. If you find any suspicious lines like "You agree Delta Search as your default search provider" immediately cancel the installation and prevent yourself from unwanted search engines. Well if by mistake you installed the software that contains unwanted search engines or already facing the problem of it, here are the few steps to get rid of them.

Norton Power Eraser:
Symantec Norton developed a program called Norton Power eraser to remove all the unwanted search engines or toolbars. Download it and scan your computer for any unwanted toolbars and adwares. For downloading Norton power eraser click here.
After downloading install and open it. In the norton eraser window click on unwanted application scan icon. When Norton Power Eraser completes the scan, the results are displayed in the unwanted Apps scan complete window. If you find any unwanted programs, click uninstall and follow the on-screen instructions.
After installation restart the computer. If norton eraser doesn't work, then you have manually uninstall them.

Uninstall unwanted programs:

Go to control panel-->Programs-->Programs and Features their you will be find all the installed programs on your computer. Uninstall all the programs that you doesn't need or any suspicious program and don't forget to remove the toolbars as they slow down your browser. Uninstalling such programs will clear most of your problem.

Remove from extensions:

Still not solved?
Even doing all the above steps doesn't solve your problem. Then here is the possible reason for that
An extension may be added to your browser shortcut(On Desktop) that often used by you for opening browser even it causes search engine problem. For clearing it right click on the shortcut and then click on properties. Delete all the text other than the below shown one:

Delete from register:
This is for a little bit advanced users if the above methods solve your problem no need to do this one. But if you want to remove every trace of search engines do the following:
Use a register cleaner software like CCleaner or you can do it manually open run command window (windows key+R) and type regedit press enter. Then register window opens and search for the unwanted search engine you want to remove and delete what ever key it shows.
But if you want to remove every trace of search engines do the following: Use a register cleaner software like CCleaner or you can do it manually open run command window (windows key+R) and type regedit press enter. Then register window opens and search for the unwanted search engine you want to remove and delete what ever key it shows. Confused? All the above steps confused you?

Most of us think that we are getting the best performance of our PC. Are you sure that we are getting the best of our PC? To enhance the performance of your PC to the best, try the following the tips:

Operating Systems: Windows 7 and Windows 8

Disable Unnecessary programs during Startup for Windows 7:

Many unnecessary programs load automatically when you boot up your PC. These programs increase the boot time and slow down your system.

To disable these programs open "run command window"("windows key+R" opens run command window) and type "msconfig" then a window opens as shown below:

Click on the image to enlarge

Now click on Startup tab and in the startup tab list of all startup programs are shown. Uncheck the unnecessary programs and click on apply. Then it will ask to restart your PC and do it.

Note: Don't disable all the programs in the startup, there are some programs like "Microsoft windows operating system", "Intel common user Interface" etc. (not only those two there are some other programs also which shouldn't be disabled as an example i have mentioned only two). If you are unaware of what to disable contact us we will help you.

For Windows 8:

In windows 8 startup programs are shifted to "Task Manager". To open Task manager right click anywhere on "Taskbar" and you will see the option Task Manager. After clicking the following window opens:

Task manager option

Now the Task manager open and click on More Details at the bottom to see all the tabs, where you find the startup tab and you can disable the unnecessary startup programs their.

Uninstall Programs:

Regularly delete unnecessary programs in your system i.e., delete all the trial versions after usage and also programs you haven't been using for long time. In order to uninstall programs goto Control Panel-->Programs-->Programs and Features.

Uninstall a program

Ready Boost an excellent option for low RAM systems:

Ready boost is a special feature that is available in windows 7 and 8. Ready boost increases the performance of the system by allowing mass storage device to be used as a temporary hard-drive memory cache for the purpose of increasing the access speed to the hard disk.

Devices that can be used for ready boost are:

USB flash drives

SD Cards

The above mentioned devices must have atleast 250 MB free space. To enable ready boost plug your drive and open properties of the drive then you can find the option Ready Boost as shown below:

Ready Boost option

To enable ready boost select "use this device" and it also allows you to specify the space to reserve for system speed.

Detailed information about Ready Boost is not provided here. For more information you can visit the following websites:-
Link 1- http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/products/features/readyboost
Link 2- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReadyBoost

Clean hard disk regularly:
Cleaning of hard disk is one of the best option to get rid of unnecessary files and increase the performance. For cleaning of hard disk you can use windows Disk Cleanup or you can also third party software's like CCleaner.
To open Disk Cleanup you can simply type it in the search. Disk cleanup clears all the junk files including temporary files also.

Updates:
Most of the people never worry about updates that are released by Microsoft. These updates have security patches and helps in protecting from being attacked from various websites or sources. So, keep your updates on and stay protected.

Disk Defragmentation:
Disk Defragmentation is the process of combining fragmented data on the hard disk. So, that it can work more effectively.
Fragmentation occurs over time when you save, change or delete files. The changes that you save to a file are often stored in a different place on the volume than the original file. This doesn't change where the file appears in windows-only where the bits of information that make up the file are stored on the actual volume. Over time, both the file and the volume itself become fragmented, and your computer slows down as it has to look in different places to open a single file.
To combine the fragmented data defragmentation software is provided with in the windows. Type Defragmentation in search and then you can open it. Click on Optimize to defragment the hard disk.
You can also Turn On Scheduled optimization which automatically optimizes your hard drive.

Upgrade your RAM:
RAM stands for "Random Access Memory", your system speed mainly depends on the installed memory i.e., on RAM. Even though by using Ready Boost you can increase the performance of your system but test cases shown that a system with 512 MB of RAM ready boost can speedup the operation from 11.7 seconds to 2 seconds, where as increasing the installed memory from 512 MB to 1 GB reduced it to 0.8 seconds. Since the prices of RAM has been dropped down it is better to upgrade your RAM.

Troubleshoot:
If your PC worked fine until yesterday and when you turn on it next day, you will find that it slowed down suddenly. You might be wondering what could be the reason? The main reasons for sudden slow down of your PC are: Infected by virus, Free space and Corrupted programs.
To stay protected from being infected by virus have good antivirus software installed in your PC and empty your hard disk regularly by deleting unnecessary files in it. Some times corrupted program cannot be removed so easily, to uninstall them boot your system into safe mode. In safe mode you can uninstall corrupted programs.
Here is the solution for the problem "Netscape is not supported, please use IE or Opera."

We often get this error message even though if we are using internet explorer. These problem is encountered while filling an application form or submitting an application. The best example of one such websites is http://ssconline.nic.in. When we try to register in this website it always says 'Netscape is not supported, Please use IE or Opera'. In order to avoid this problem follow the below steps:

Browser used: Internet Explorer 11

Operating system: Windows 7, 8 , 8.1

Demonstrated website: http://ssconline.nic.in

Step 1:

Open the website that you want to register or apply for a job in internet explorer. After opening the website if you get the above error message just ignore it by clicking close or OK for now.

Step 2:

After opening the website in internet explorer press F12 key then a Developer window will open at the bottom of the browser as show below: (click on the images to enlarge)

Step 3:

Now press Ctrl+8 then Emulation will open in developer window.

Step 4:

In the Emulation window change the "Document mode" from Edge(Default) to 10. After changing the Document mode your website automatically reloads otherwise manually reload the website.

Now your problem is solved and you can complete the registration. If still the problem pursuits follow the below step

Step 5:

Even after changing the Document mode if still the error message displays than change the "User agent string" from Default to Internet Explorer 10 or 9 or 8.

After changing Document mode and User agent string reload the website. The error message stops displaying. Don't change other settings expect what we told here. If you change the error message starts displaying again and you can't register in the website.

Note: Don't close the Developer window until you complete your registration. If you close the Developer window after changing Document mode and User agent string everything sets back to default. Then again the error message starts displaying. If developer window is closed unfortunately follow the above five steps again.

Another method:

If the above method is not working or having problem with the above steps. Then use this method for solving your problem. First open the Internet Explorer and now open the website in the browser. After opening website click on the "Tools" icon on the top right corner of your browser and then click on "compatibility view settings".

Now a small window will open having two boxes. One is "Add this website" and the other is "Websites you've added to Compatibility View". In add this website box you can already find nic.in just click on Add button. If there is nothing in the box then type nic.in in that box and click on Add button. Then it will be added to websites you've added to compatibility view. After adding simply close the small window your web page automatically reloads otherwise reload it manually, you will find the error message stops displaying and solved your problem.

For Firefox Users:

Most of the times old Internet Explorer browsers crash more frequently when compared to new Internet Explorer 11. As you are changing your browser to an old version it might crash. So, if you browser starts crashing off and on. Then use Firefox browser for registering. If you open the website in Firefox the error message displays in order to rectify this problem there are many add-ons available for Firefox. These add-ons changes the Firefox into internet explorer and then you can use Firefox as internet explorer. The most popular add-ons that are presently working are

User Agent Switcher

User Agent Overrider

To install anyone of the above add-ons click on the Firefox icon on the top left corner of the browser and choose Add-ons. After choosing Add-ons a new tab will open showing Extensions that your browser have presently. Now Click on Get Add-ons which is just above the Extensions Tab and search for any one of the above mentioned add-on and install(preferably install User Agent Overrider as it is easy to use). After installing restart your browser(If you had installed User Agent Overrider Add-on no need to restart your browser) and change the preferences to Internet Explorer 8 or 9 or 10. Preferences can be changed by the installed Add-on icon. Icon starts displaying in your browser on the top right corner of the browser i.e., beside the home button. After changing the preference you can open the website and can register in it. If the user agent overrider add-on hasn't helped you then you have change the user agent string in the browser configuration. For getting into your browser configuration type about:config in the address bar. But be careful in this as it displays all the configuration of Firefox if you do any mistake here your browser will be either corrupted or it will crash and never opens.

For Google Chrome Users:

Similarly Google Chrome Users can also follow the above procedure. In order to download above Extension goto chrome web store and search for the extension. After installing you change the Google chrome into Internet Explorer and register in the required website.

After completion of your work change the preference back to default or disable the add-on temporarily(don't remove it if necessary you can use later by clicking enable). If you don't change the preference back to default your browser will work as Internet Explorer only. As internet explorer is a bit slow when compared to other browsers like Firefox and Google chrome. So, change it back to default.

Today most of the computers are having these shortcuts problem. When we plug in a pendrive or hard disk or memory card i.e., any removal disks into computer all of a sudden folders and files in the drive changes to shortcuts. Not only in removal disks but also our computer hard drive folders and files show shortcuts.

If we try to open the shortcut sometimes it says "Missing Shortcut" and we can't just simply format our removable disks or our computer because all the important data will be erased completely. Even though we use good antivirus software's like Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Norton, Avira, Avast, Eset, etc., this problem cannot be solved easily. So, we have found a simple way for this problem. Follow the below steps carefully to remove the shortcuts and retrieve back your folders.

Step 1:

First download the "UsbFix" software which is of just a 1MB file.

Previously we have posted the software directly due to the various complaints we received direct link is removed. If you want the software we will send it to your email. So, please provide your email address in the comment box. Sorry for the inconvenience please try to understand us. We have protected the file with a password in order to avoid misuse of software and password will be mailed to you.

UsbFix software is completely free from virus. Checked by using Kaspersky internet security 2014 and Norton 360 antivirus. You download it without any doubt. If still you have doubt you can scan it after downloading the software by using any antivirus.

Step 2:

Downloaded file is in .rar format. So, after downloading extract the .rar file using winrar or winzip software. If you don't have winrar or winzip software download them from net directly they are available for free. After downloading and installing winrar or winzip extract the usbfix software.

Click on the images to enlarge.

Step 3:

After extracting now double click on the UsbFix to open it. When you open the software a "User Account Control" message appears with yes and no options, click yes. Then a window will open as shown below.

Now plug in all the pendrives, hard disks, memory cards which have the shortcuts problem and click on "Deletion" option in the software. Then it shows an message to connect all your external devices as you have already plugged in just click ok. Then another message opens to save all your work, click ok and the software starts running.
Note: Save all your work before running this software because it stops all the applications and software's and you cannot even open anything until the process is completed. For process it may 10 to 30 minutes based on the extent of problem. Don't try to close the software in between the process.
Important: This software doesn't delete any of your files and recovers all your hidden files and removes the shortcuts in your drives and computer. UsbFix is tested working on the following operating systems:
Operating systems tested: Windows 7, 8, 8.1
This software can also be used when your pen drive doesn't show any files in it but the memory is full. Such kind of situation can also be solved by using the UsbFix Software. Follow the above same procedure to recover your files.

After removal of shortcuts use a good antivirus software to protect your system from infecting again. Perfect antivirus software's available in the market are:

Bitdefender

Kaspersky

Norton

AVG

Avira

Actually $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information folders are not dangerous virus or any malware folders. These folders are present in every partition of your hard disk. They contain information about your volume and files in the disk.

$RECYCLE.BIN folder stores your deleted files and folders information. So, that you can restore any unfortunately deleted file or folder by using recovery software's.

System Volume Information folder bears useful info regarding your volume i.e., info about each and every partition in hard disk.

Generally speaking, these folders are present in every windows operating system. Even a newly bought desktop or laptop have these folders but they are hidden. So that we cannot see them. Now a question might have raised in your mind that when I marked the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" in Control Panel>Folder Options>View they haven't showed in my system previously but now these folders appear and most of us think that our computer is infected. Because most of the websites in internet say that it is a very dangerous virus or malware. Don't believe such kind of fake websites and stop worrying about these folders. If you want to see these folders there is a separate option to view these folders in Control Panel>Folder Options>View uncheck the following options:

By using the above option we cannot see $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information folders directly there is special option for them.

After unchecking the above option $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information folders appear in every partition of hard disk. So, we can't say it is a virus or malware.

But if these folders get infected than it is problem. As antivirus software's does not have access to these folders, so they cannot scan these folders. Even if they scan and detect virus infected files cannot be removed. So, always use good antivirus software to protect your computer and prevent these folders from getting infected. If you have any doubt that these folders are infected full scan your system using Microsoft Safety Scanner to download the software go the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Remember Microsoft Safety Scanner doesn't install. It can directly scan your system without installing. You can also use MalwareBytes software to scan computer. To download a free version of malwarebytes software click on the following link:

https://www.malwarebytes.org/free/

After checking you can just make them invisible by checking the option "Hide protected operating system files(Recommended)" in Control Panel>Folder Options>View as shown in the above pictures.
Note: As these folders contain system operating files You can't delete them directly. If you want to delete them boot into safe mode there you can delete them. But doing like that may corrupt some of files in your hard disk. So, be careful before doing this action.

In order to prevent these folders from infecting use any of the following good antivirus software's:

Bitdefender

Kaspersky

Norton

AVG

Avira

Avast

G-Data

F-Secure

Trend Micro

ESET etc.

Bitdefender and Kaspersky are the highly ranked antivirus software's at present based on protection but they slow your computer. If you have low random access memory(RAM) then don't use this Bitdefender and Kaspersky antivirus. They impact your system performance and slows it down.
