I then met with designers, RJK on Tuesday to discuss outfits ...]]> On Monday, after a fabulous weekend at The Table Bay Hotel and the official Parliament Dinner on Saturday evening, I flew back from Cape Town. I then met with designers, RJK on Tuesday to discuss outfits for an Iman shoot this week. The garments are absolutely gorgeous!

Wednesday saw me return to Cape Town for a Top Billing Magazine shoot, which took place on Thursday in beautiful Constantia. The Table Bay Hotel was once again incredibly accommodating! Thank you! I was then interviewed by a German Magazine on Friday morning at The Table Bay about my reign before flying back to JHB to attend an award evening at Sun International Head Office.  Thank you to the “Dance Team” - I can now do the “Diski Dance”!!!

On Saturday I attended the Launch of the Multilingualism Awareness Campaign presented by the Department of Arts and Culture in Pretoria. It was a rewarding experience and has made me realise how important events such as these are in our country! "Diverse Cultures Unite." I was then off to watch the Bulls' defeat over the Brumbies at Loftus in the Sun International box on Saturday evening.

On Sunday, I enjoyed a spa day with “Reach For A Dream”. All the "Dreamers" attended with their mums and sisters and it was a wonderful day of relaxation and bonding. Well done to “Reach For A Dream Foundation” for making these children’s dreams come true!!

Tuesday marked a meeting with Iman Cosmetics where they handed me my make-up package to keep me looking my best throughout my reign!

I completed a shoot for Heat magazine on Wednesday morning and later visited Jamie-Ann, a brain tumour patient who is well on her way to recovery – she is an absolute inspiration. I then went off to meet with the amazing Jenna Clifford in Sandton and rounded off the day with the Forum Toastmasters Club in Pretoria who invited me to be a guest speaker.

On Thursday, I enjoyed a successful meeting with Craig Duff from Varsity College – lots of new ideas! In the evening, at the invitation of Luxury Limousines and 2 Thai 4 Restaurant, 8 of my family members and friends were picked up and chauffeured off to a wonderful dinner.

We spent Friday night at the Wanderers for the twenty-twenty cricket match and had an absolute ball! What do the “Lions” have to do to win a game?

On Saturday I flew to the Mother City for the Parliamentary Dinner and spent the rest of the weekend with my very special hosts at the five-star Table Bay Hotel. I would recommend the hospitality to anyone!

As an invitee to Edith Venter’s “ladies day” at the SA Tennis Open, it was really rewarding to experience the effort made by all those involved in making the game of tennis more popular in SA.

A Bafana Bafana “shoot” took place on Tuesday. This for a PSA Announcement in support of our national soccer team and for support of charity! It was a lot of fun and should flight on Super Sport soon!

A superb luncheon was hosted by Avis at their Travelbags event. It is great spending time with our treasured sponsors! Friday ended off in me attending the super PG Autoglass annual awards dinner in Benoni.

A good rest was in store for the weekend!

My compassion for every person I meet grows every day through moments like this.

Had a most enjoyable lunch with members from the Miss SA Pageant office.  We flew to Cape Town and bid goodbye to the rainy weather in Gauteng!  I had the opportunity to meet with Kluk CGDT, Accessorize and La Senza: all proud sponsors of the Miss SA pageant!

Attended the J&B Met on Saturday - had a most enjoyable day! Thanks to Rob Dalton for making it such an exciting day! To The Table Bay staff: what a wonderful weekend! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel very special. Very excited to go back and visit!

Jamie-Ann will remain in my heart forever. She is an unbelievable example to her peers and those around her, such a strong and beautiful person!

Jame-Ann's operation took place on Saturday and to all our relief appears to have been a resounding success! She has shown interest in entering the Miss South Africa pageant in a few years time and certainly has the credentials to achieve her goal!

I was invited to a interview on Radio 2000 on Sunday. It was relaxed and conversational.

After the interview, I met with Doreen Morris, representing the Glitterati TV programme – it was a wonderful opportunity to meet this well-known South African icon. Following my meeting with Doreen, I conducted numerous interviews with both newspaper and magazine editors where I felt like a true celeb!

At 13h00, I met with Chris Prinsloo from Barloworld and could barely contain my excitement as I was handed the keys to the Miss South Africa VW Sciroco!

On the evening of the pageant, I felt elegant and fashionable in designer outfits from David Tlale, Malcolm Kluk, Cameroon and Dax Martin. I donned shoes to die for from Europa Art and my hair was styled beautifully by Gary Rom.

Following my crowning, I feel that my life-long dream has come true! I am thrilled that I now have the platform I need to work from in order to make a difference in our beautiful country! Tonight I also had the opportunity to meet with all my wonderful sponsors, I feel truly privileged and honoured to represent South Africa with Sun International as my new family.

It was then off to Monaco, Germany, Monte Carlo and Italy – all in 5 days! My highlights were definitely a fashion show in Monaco (gorgeous) and showing off renowned South African designer, Terrance Bray's Collection at the Exclusive Monte Carlo Ladies' Lunch, which was attended by the Royal Family. Now that’s a life I could certainly get used to!
