<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That's what MaryEllen Tribby is going to teach it to you in her webinar to promote <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/06/inbox-empire-from-ryan-deiss-maryellen-tribby.html" target="_self">Inbox Empire</a>, the system that is 500% more profitable than blogging.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> It's time to be honest. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you've built a list, then I'm sure you put a lot of effort into developing a great lead magnet and sending traffic to squeeze and offer pages to get people to opt-in.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">After all, the gurus say that the "money is in the list".</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But what is your open rate on average?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're like me, it varies based on the subject line and the first sentence or two of the email that can be seen in the preview section.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But the biggest factor is based on the reputation you've established for the name that your email goes out under.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">People learn based on whether they get value for their time as defined by their own motivations, attitudes and interests.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you've built a good reputation, then your emails get opened.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you haven't really established a reputation, then your emails probably get ignored.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I've recently been clearing out the Trash folder of my email server.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It's been quite an eye-opener on the effectiveness of email marketer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm astonished at how many emails I've had from some people - perhaps 30 to 60 - and if I'd been asked, I'd have said that I'd never heard of them and had no idea about their main message.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That's staggering when you think about it.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">In come the emails and they've been virtually automatically deleted without being opened and consumed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Some of them will be pure spam where I never opted-in and have no interest although I'm usually pretty quick to opt-out in those circumstances.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Most of them I've opted in, downloaded the lead magnet because it sounded interesting but I've never consumed it. If it was a report, I've never read it. A podcast? I've never listened to it. A video? I've never watched it.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You see, if there is no consumption of the information provided, there is no relationship being built.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're suffering from very low open rates on your emails, then you should watch this webinar from MaryEllen Tribby.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/inbox-imp/a271/" target="_self">The Secret To 40% Open Rates</a> - affiliate link</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Should you then go on to buy the course that is being promoted?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It's very good but you can learn much more at my <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/06/inbox-empire-from-ryan-deiss-maryellen-tribby.html" target="_self">Inbox Empire review</a>.<br /></span></p><xhtml:img xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/online_profits/~4/WGi_qmHPQIQ" height="1" width="1" /></div></content>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://digitalmarketing.infusionsoft.com/go/ytgh/a279" target="_self">YouTube Google hack</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I particularly appreciate the fact that he doesn't try to fluff things out because when I learn I want to learn quickly, get excited and start implementing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">These principles apply to YouTube Google Hack which is all about using YouTube to dominate Google for the keywords that matter to you most.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This is the latest front end product to introduce <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/05/digital-marketer-lab-by-ryan-deiss.html" target="_self">Digital Marketer Lab</a> and <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/11/digital-marketer-pro-from-ryan-deiss.html" target="_self">Digital Marketer Pro</a> (links take you to my reviews) and in my opinion, if you're serious about making money online and you haven't invested in either, then you're making a big mistake.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">YouTube Google Hack </span></strong></h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">YouTube Google Hack is a short report - 13 pages of content - that gives you the lowdown on how to use YouTube videos to rank high on page 1 of Google.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://digitalmarketing.infusionsoft.com/go/ytgh/a279" target="_self">YouTube Google Hack</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">YouTube is huge with enormous traffic and is the second biggest search engine in the world, behind Google itself but bigger than Yahoo and Bing and if you do it right, a video will get you traffic from both.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let's be honest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">YouTube has been around for many years and ever since broadband connections became the standard, videos have become the most powerful way to communicate a message to an audience.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That may be pure entertainment...</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">or it could be a marketing message to a tightly defined target audience.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://digitalmarketing.infusionsoft.com/go/ytgh/a279" target="_self">YouTube Google Hack</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But ask yourself, what have you done about YouTube and video marketing despite the fact that you'll know from your own experience of using the search engines that YouTube videos rank high on page one and they are always very tempting to click.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> YouTube Google Hacks is the report that can stir you into action.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It's a short summary of a RAW training video from <a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/dmark/a271/" target="_self">Digital Marketer Lab</a> (affiliate link) [If you're wondering, RAW stands for Real, Actionable and Works today].</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">What's In YouTube Google Hacks?</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The report starts with an introduction about why YouTube is so important and the special relationship between Google and YouTube.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It then goes on to outline the best practices for using YouTube for search engine marketing:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Channels vs Pages</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Video Creation</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Video Sequence</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Video Types</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Listing Optimization</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Five Minute Video SEO</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">In summary, YouTube Google Hacks is packed with stuff that I didn't know until Ryan Deiss started bringing it to my attention.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://digitalmarketing.infusionsoft.com/go/ytgh/a279" target="_self">YouTube Google Hack</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Who Are You Spending Your Money With?</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're an ambitious Internet marketer, then I'm sure that you're only too well aware that new things come along and established things change (don't get me started on the Google Panda change).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You can't keep track of it all yourself without investing in training.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The two people I pay most attention to are <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/rich-schefren/" target="_self">Rich Schefren</a> and Ryan Deiss.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Rich is great at the big question strategic stuff.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Ryan excels at the tactical stuff that is based on extensive testing of what really works in multiple niches.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I am biased (I'm an affiliate and will profit if you buy after clicking on my links and I get free stuff to review) but I think you should be trying Digital Marketer Lab for yourself.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://digitalmarketing.infusionsoft.com/go/ytgh/a279" target="_self">YouTube Google Hack</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That way you can make your own judgement about whether the content and the style of delivery suits you and your needs. If you don't like it, get your money back under the guarantee but if it makes you money, stick with it. I'm always surprised at what Ryan comes out with next.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/dmark/a271/" target="_self">Digital Marketer Lab</a> - affiliate link</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/05/digital-marketer-lab-by-ryan-deiss.html" target="_self">Digital Marketer Lab Review</a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That way you get the YouTube Google Hacks report and the more extensive video YouTube Google Fusion already included.</span></p>

<content type="xhtml" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/"><div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I am a believer in email marketing as a low cost way to deliver targeted marketing messages to prospective customers and as a way to build up the "know, like and trust" factors that strengthen relationships to the stage where buying becomes attractive.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But often email marketing isn't done in a way that creates success.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">How People Read Their Emails</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">When I log onto my PC first thing in the morning, I usually have between 70 to 100 emails competing for my attention. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This is too many and if each email took between 30 and 60 seconds to read and think about, the simple task of looking at my inbox would take about one hour. Some emails and their links need much longer if they are attached to a long video.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">So when I read my emails, I have to be very slective about where my time goes and my finger or mouse is hovering over the delete button.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I bet you and your prospective customers are the same.<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You see, deleting emails makes me feel good because I'm taking control and getting rid of time wasting distractions.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">What Makes Me Pay More Attention To Some Emails?</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The two big factors I take into account are the subject line and the sender with my attention first on the sender.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There are some people I always pay attention to - family, friends, clients, people I believe can help make me money.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There are some people I automatically ignore and they fall into two categories:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">spammers who don't let me get off their lists - these get deleted<br /></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">marketers who I think have something to say but are not at the top of my priority list - these emails remain unread but in my inbox until I have a big clearout. You see, I think to myself "I'll take a look at those when I have some free time." But the free time doesn't happen very often. This is the problem of having a reasonably positive reputation - the emails are deleted but nor are they read.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Then there is the subject line.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If it's from someone I pay attention to, the subject line helps me to determine whether I scan it, read it or read it and click.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If the sender is someone I don't know, the subject line can either persuade me to:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">delete it immediately</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">read the first sentence or two.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">As I'm making my snap judgements I've only got one thing on my mind...</span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">What's in it for me to keep reading?</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You see, you have to earn the right for me to keep reading and giving your email my precious time and attention.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm looking for clues.</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Is this email relevant to me or irrelevant? If it's not relevant, it gets deleted.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">is this email consistent between the subject line and the first few sentences? I hate emails that trick me into giving my attention away and I'll hit the delete key at the first hint.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Is it a corporate email? Some of the formats with headers and images may look nice when they leave the marketer but when they arrive with me, all I see is "Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message" and a lot of white space. I used to have a similar experience when I used Outlook Express. Because they don't grab me, it would take a remarkably strong subject line to get me to take the effort to scroll down.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Does it look like a mass mailer - it's normally pretty obvious because of the way language is used - or has it been personally written to me?<br /></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Emails do get through and I do click on the links and pay more attention.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But the more that happens in a session, the tougher I get on the other emails that come into my inbox. This means that success doesn't just depend on whether you send out a good email and whether you've established a good relationship to me. It also depends on what else is competing for my time that day.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">How Do You Get Me To Read Emails?</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">To sum up about how you can get the best response rate from me and other people:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Have an existing relationship with me - the more I like you and the more relevant you are to my life, the more attention I will give to what you send out.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Use a strong subject line - John Caples' advice on headlines was right - focus on self interest, curiosity and news.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Start strong. The job of each sentence is to keep me reading the next.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Make me feel that this is not a mass mailer email.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Make it easy for me to read. Simple words that have meaning - not corporatespeak. Short sentences and paragraphs.</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Do You Agree With Me About How People Read Emails And What Makes A Difference?</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I've given you a very personal view on what works for anyone emailing me but do you agree?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let me know please by leaving a comment?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm particularly interesting to know what engages you and what repels you in an email.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I have a mixed view about stories. I always read the stories that a friend writes in his emails, even though I know he's marketing to me. But for many others, the hint of a long winded story causes me to move along quickly.    </span></p><xhtml:img xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/online_profits/~4/4n0Xk-DrZNI" height="1" width="1" /></div></content>

People can spend a lot of time on Facebook, Twitter and the other social media sites that encourage you to engage with other people in conversations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This means that social media can be used for marketing purposes and for time rich, money poor businesses, it is a way of marketing which suits their resources.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Social media marketing is also being promoted as a business opportunity to self employed people who love social media and would like to earn some money.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Courses like <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2012/01/lets-get-social-30.html" target="_self">Let's Get Social</a> from Kate Buck have been very popular and have created trained professional social media managers who offer a done for you social media service. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> This opens up social media marketing to any small business who is money rich, time poor. You just find a social media expert and pay them to manage your social media activities on a per hour basis or on a fixed fee per month.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> Social media can be used in two ways but only one of them really works.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The first is to use social media as a free broadcast channel, just like any other form of marketing media.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Can that kind of social media marketing work? Yes it might if you build up enough followers but it's not making the most of the social media opportunity.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The second way is to use social media marketing the right way and engage in conversations with your market. Instead of just broadcasting...</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">buy this...</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">take a look at this...</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">you turn it around and want to get answers to questions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It's the feedback and the response to the feedback that helps to build up the relationships that lead to more customers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But this engagement takes time and commitment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you can't give that commitment, then you have a simple choice.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Either</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Ignore the social media marketing opportunity<br /></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Delegate your social media activities to an independent social media marketing opportunity.  </span></li>
</ol><xhtml:img xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/online_profits/~4/9bZBPLHLSEo" height="1" width="1" /></div></content>

<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>Let's Get Social 3.0 - The Background</strong><br /></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2010/06/ryan-deiss-lets-get-social.html" target="_self">Let's Get Social</a> first came out in June 2010 and the training has already been updated once and now the second big update is about to be launched.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> While I'm not a big fan personally, it's pretty clear that social media marketing is here to stay and Let's Get Social helps you to build a business helping other small businesses exploit the social media opportunities.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Kate Buck On Fox News </span></strong></h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Kate Buck, the creator of Let's Get Social 3.0 has been featured on Fox News explaining the growth of the role of the social media manager.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>Let's Get Social 3.0 - Training To Be A Social Media Manager</strong><br /></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Perhaps you've dabbled with social media yourself for marketing purposes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If so, you'll know that:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It takes time - and time is something that many small business owners are desperately short of.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">To get results, you need to do it right and be consistently active.</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">And that's exactly why business owners need help if they want to market their business with Twitter, Facebook and the other social media.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let's Get Social has become the main training product that is affordable. Yes there are other training courses in social media but many of the well known ones are much more expensive and most don't cover what you need to do to market yourself as a professional social media manager.<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/lgs/a271" target="_self">Let's Get Social 3.0</a> - affiliate link</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're interested in building a career as a social media manager, you owe it to yourself to take a look at Let's Get Social. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Is it right for you? Well that depends on whether you're an action taker or a dreamer. Quite simply, if you buy Let's Get Social 3.0 but don't work through the training or you don't take the actions recommended, then you won't get value for money.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But if you are an action taker then you'll learn a lot from someone who has already done what you want to do... and if you don't, then you're protected by the money back guarantee.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let's Get Social 3.0 Review</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">As a successful affiliate for Ryan Deiss, I've been given access to Let's Get Social 3.0 to take a look at it and to write a detailed review.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Am I biased? Well I am an affiliate and if you decide to buy, I'd love it if you bought through my link so I get the small commission... but only if Let's Get Social is right for you. I see too many people buy products they shouldn't have gone near. (See <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2009/11/how-to-protect-yourself-from-guru-greed.html" target="_self">Protecting Yourself From Guru Greed</a>).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let's Get Social 3.0 is well presented and it has the feel of a quality product based around six core modules as you can see from the images below.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda591288330163012dcd35970d-pi" style="display: inline;" target="_self" title="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/lgs/a271"><img alt="Lets_get_social_welcome" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54eda591288330163012dcd35970d" src="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda591288330163012dcd35970d-800wi" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Lets_get_social_welcome" /></a><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The screen then scrolls down to show the main modules in Let's Get Social.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda591288330167622314c0970b-pi" style="display: inline;" target="_self" title="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/lgs/a271"><img alt="Lets_get_social_modules" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54eda591288330167622314c0970b" src="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda591288330167622314c0970b-800wi" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Lets_get_social_modules" /></a><strong>Let's Get Social Coaching Calls &amp; Q&amp;A Resources</strong><br /></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">In addition to the main training modules, there are the weekly coaching calls with Kate Buck from the very beginning (June 17th, 2010) where she answers questions from Let's Get Social members.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Even better, these Q&amp;As have been separated into a series of short questions and answers for you to listen to in the Audio Resources. <strong>I love this idea</strong> which makes the Q&amp;A's much more accessible and useful.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The categories are:</span></p>
<ul>

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Workload Management and Costs</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I can't promise that every question you need to answer when starting and running a social media manager business is there but I bet most of them are and if not, you can ask Kate Buck in future coaching calls.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Just to give you a flavour of the questions that are answered, I've listed a few of them from the new clients section because this may be the most important section to you if you already have good social media skills with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Evaluating Client Needs     </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">How Long Until I Get First Clients?     </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">How To Find Prospects in Specific Niches     </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Using PPC Ads to Get Clients     </span></li>

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Getting Started When Market Is Not Online     </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Attracting New Biz Only Online     </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Attracting Nonlocal Clients </span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This really is a superb resource and something I haven't seen elsewhere. It's also great social proof that plenty of people are using the training to create social media manager businesses. If nobody was doing it, there wouldn't be any questions.<br /></span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Let's Get Social 3.0 Core Modules Review</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> The main formal training in Let's Get Social is built around six modules:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Introduction to Let's Get Social</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Branding You</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Service Offerings</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Finding Clients</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Doing The Work</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Nuts &amp; Bolts (administering the business)</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Each module consists of at least one video plus a pdf copy of the presentation slides and an mp3 recording to suit different learning styles. Some modules have much more content with extra videos and resources.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 1 of Let's Get Social 3 - The Introduction<br /></span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The training starts gently with Kate Buck telling her story and introducing the idea of being a social media manager and an estimate of your potential earnings per hour as a beginner and a more experienced social media expert.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Kate also makes the point that you should only consider a career as a social media manager if you are a very social person who enjoys meeting new people.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 2 of Let's Get Social 3 - Branding You</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This module looks at how you set up your own Wordpress website/blog and your own social media profiles in a way that will help you to attract clients as a social media professional.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">After all, if you're going to help others to use social media marketing effectively, you need to make sure that you look good.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">As well as the main training video, there are plenty of supplementary videos in this module along with additional resources to help you to start your social media career in the right way.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This is all good, practical advice and even if you're already active on social media and know what you're doing, you'll benefit from going through this module because the way you currently tweet and use Facebook may not present a professional image.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 3 of Let's Get Social - Service Offerings</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You've made a start on your social media career but now you need to get specific about what you'll be offering clients.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You need to have something with more substance than "I'll do some tweeting for you" if you are going to persuade business owners to spend money.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This module of Let's Get Social explains the four main types of service you can offer to social media clients and how they will fit together to provide value. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This gives you a very structured approach to thinking through what clients want, need and will be willing to pay for. It also includes some suggested prices although you will find that different types of clients want to pay less or may be prepared to pay more.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Personally I found this module a little scary but I don't want to be a social media manager using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter for clients. Remember Kate Buck said earlier, if you want to do this stuff for a career, you need to be social.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 4 of Let's Get Social 3.0 - Finding Clients</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This is the most important part of the Let's Get Social training. If you don't have clients, you don't have a business.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Kate shares her experience of how to find your first clients and in particular how you need to build and deepen your network of contacts. This is the essence of social media marketing and doing it for yourself is good experience for doing it for commercial purposes for clients.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The extra resources include a very useful free report, the 7 Reasons Why You Need A Social Media Manager Right Now which you can use in your marketing. If i was being critical, I don't understand why this isn't available as a Word document to make it easier to brand for yourself. However the pdf protections have been set in a way that lets you copy and paste.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If I was marketing social media services, I'd be tempted to use a report that was routed in problems e.g. The 7 Reasons Why Your Social Media Activities Are Wasting Your Time And Not Helping You To Attract More Customers or The 7 Common Mistakes Made In Social Media Marketing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There's plenty of helpful advice in the Q&amp;A sessions about getting clients - when you buy Let's Get Social, make sure you go through it all and put the ideas into action.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 5 of Let's Get Social - Doing The Work</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Now that you've got your first few clients and they've bought into the benefits of social media marketing, you need to make sure that you deliver.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Your success is much more likely if you can win clients and keep them buying from you than having to go out and find new clients all the time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The focus is on helping you to make effective use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This module is packed with extra information if you haven't though about using these networks for business purposes. The more you know, the more selective you will want to be to save your time going over basics when you should be marketing your social media services.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Module 6 of Let's Get Social 3 - Nuts &amp; Bolts</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">We've gone through the glamorous stuff of branding, getting clients and using social media but this module makes it all worthwhile. It covers the essential stuff like contracts, billing and getting paid.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Good practical stuff.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">My Overall Thoughts On Let's Get Social</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Very positive for anyone who wants to be a social media manager. The course is packed with very practical advice on how you can achieve your goals and I love the audio resources with the Q&amp;As broken down into small snippets to help you to focus on what you need.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/lgs/a271" target="_self">Let's Get Social 3.0</a> - affiliate link</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're intrigued by the idea of a career in social media, then Let's Get Social gives you a great idea about what it's all about. If you like it, do it and if you don't then make sure you make your money back claim under the terms of the guarantee.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're a local Internet marketer thinking about adding social media to your portfolio of services because existing clients have indicated that they want to outsource these activities, then you providing the social media services will help protect your other work.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">However I think you should pass on the social media opportunity presented by Let's Get Social if:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You're not excited about social media - you need to be passionate about it if you're going to talk about it and do it all day.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You've got the bad habit of buying courses and you don't take action.At best, ask yourself why this will be different and I even recommend that you put it down in writing before you buy.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Let's Get Social gives you plenty of help to become a social media manager but you've still got to put in the effort. Nothing will happen if you don't take action. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">My thoughts on Let's Get Social are very positive if this is what you want to do.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It is a bit scary to go out to sell your own services. I know because I did it when I became a self employed consultant in 1995.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://schefren.infusionsoft.com/go/traf/spinone/" target="_self">The Traffic Strategist</a> - affiliate link</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> More Traffic - The Answer To All Your Internet Marketing Problems?</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> I've always liked Rich Schefren's contrarian view about website traffic. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Most people think that more traffic will turn an under-performing Internet business into a big money maker. I talk to people whose main aim is to get more traffic.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But things unwind when you start asking about how well their current (limited quantity) traffic is converting into customers and money.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Justin Brooke - The Traffic Strategist</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The big difference about the Traffic Strategist and what Justin Brooke will teach is that it focuses on both sides:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">how to get more traffic</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">how to make the traffic profitable</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The second is key and earnings per click is a great metric to use for your website.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The higher the average earnings per click, the more you can afford to spend to attract traffic and you're not scraping around trying to attract free traffic on long tail keywords.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Yes you want to be great at marketing but I've always liked the Dan Kennedy approach to marketing. If you really want to dominate your market and drive your competitors into the ground, the way to do it, is to be able to afford to spend much more than they do on marketing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The approach in The Traffic Strategist lets you do exactly that.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If your website has an earnings per click of $2, then how much are you going to be prepared to pay for traffic from Google Adwords?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Logic suggests that if it's a digital product without any creation or distribution costs, you can afford to pay up to $1.99 and still make a profit on every transaction.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But emotion also kicks in and if you're like me, you'll get a bit twitchy at paying over $1 per click (just in case the averages change) and find it really difficult to go beyond $1.50.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">But what if you take action to make your traffic mopre profitable:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">you improve conversion rates on your website</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">you add in backend offers to increase the future profits</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Imagine you now have an earnings per click of $8 while your competitor is still scratching around at the $2 level.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Suddenly you can pay $3 or $4 per click and you're still laughing all the way to the bank and your competitors is left wondering how you can possibly afford to be at the top of the PPC searches, have your advertisements appearing on Facebook, banner adverts on popular websites etc.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That's how you dominate the market.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">And it's what The Traffic Strategist has been designed to teach you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://schefren.infusionsoft.com/go/traf/spinone/" target="_self">The Traffic Strategist</a> - affiliate link</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Video 1 - 21 Sources Of Traffic</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There's a bit of a rags to riches story for Justin Brookes in this first Traffic Strategist video. He then goes on to talk about the 21 sources of traffic document.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This is well worth getting because you might be like me and think too narrowly about traffic. </span></p>

<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">RepMogul and Ross Goldberg</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">This time Ryan Deiss has partnered with Ross Goldberg to offer RepMogul. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Ross Goldberg is the author of <a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/1453742433/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=placonsolltd-20&amp;camp=0&amp;creative=0&amp;linkCode=as4&amp;creativeASIN=1453742433&amp;adid=0EC3MH3KJDH9RR06B169&amp;" target="_self">The Web Traffic Book</a> (affiliate link to Amazon) and one time faculty member of StomperNet when they were widely recognised as the leading Internet training organisation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">He's sold software to help website owners to get more traffic and now he has spotted the opportunity in online reputation management.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Rep Mogul &amp; Online Reputation Management</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Internet is wonderful and the popularity of social media means that businesses that do well can earn a great reputation as customers and fans talk online. It also means that the scam artists can be exposed for what they are and a simple check in Google can be very revealing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Unfortunately this power of the Internet to spread positive or negative word of mouth rapidly across the world can be abused by anyone with a malicious intent by posting nasty comments anonymously.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Online reputation management (and the RepMogul course) is designed to reduce the damage done by these negative anonymous comments which can cost businesses a lot of money in terms of lost customers and revenues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_reputation_management" target="_self">Wikipedia</a> defines online reputation management as...</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">"The practice of monitoring the Internet reputation of a person, brand or business with the goal of suppressing negative mentions entirely or pushing them lower on search engine results to decrease their visibility."</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self">RepMogul</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">RepMogul - The Opportunity</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Unlike many of the Ryan Deiss training programs, I haven't seen RepMogul.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Since it's satisfied his exacting quality standards, I'm sure it is good and even if you don't like it, the money back guarantees are honoured.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">RepMogul is being promoted as a business opportunity which can show you "how you can start making $3,000 to $10,000 a month yourself in just 3 to 6 weeks as an online reputation manager".</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self">RepMogul</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm naturally cautious of these high income claims.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">While big money may be possible for the exceptional person who works very hard, if RepMogul and helping small business owners to manage their reputation online appeals to you, I'd like you to scale back the income claims and the speed of success significantly.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">How much, I don't know but RepMogul still looks a bargain if you only think in terms of 10% - $300 to $1,000 per month. At that level, it wouldn't be enough to replace a 9 to 5 job but it is a nice source of extra income to top up what you get at the moment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self">RepMogul</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I think it's important you don't go into this with expectations that you'll make big money, very easily. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Life is never that simple. If you expect big things and they don't happen immediately, you get discouraged and rush off for the next magic bullet. On the other hand, if you start off with low expectations and you do better than you thought, you get a big emotional boost and a surge of energy to do even better.<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm sure there is a need for online reputation management as businesses are smeared on the Internet and have their reputations damaged. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Many small business owners will not have a clue about how to respond and defend their good name. They will feel vulnerable and may be sceptical but if you can prove that you can make the problem virtually go away, then it should be an easy sale.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The RepMogul Course</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">RepMogul is an 8 module course. Each module is about 30 to 40 minutes long. This means that with focused effort, you can complete it with a weekend and be ready to start promoting your online reputation management services in a few days.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The modules in RepMogul are:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Overview of the online reputation management opportunity</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Understanding SEO</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The reputation management process</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Getting clients - including how to spot the businesses you should avoid</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Research and content creation - including tips on how to get others to do the work for you</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Distribution</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Going local</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Managing and growing your business</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">With RepMogul you also get templates and documentation and the Link Bounder software that is said to make reputation management easy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There is also four weeks of Q&amp;A coaching to get the important questions you have answered.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self">RepMogul</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">An exit pop-up on the RepMogul page sometimes gives you the chance to try the first module (the overview) for free. If you don't see it, it's because Ryan Deiss is testing different things to see what works best. It's frustrating but it's also what makes his newsletter so powerful - see <a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2011/11/digital-marketer-pro-from-ryan-deiss.html" target="_self">Digital Marketer Pro</a>.<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> <a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" style="display: inline;" target="_self"><img alt="Repmogul_video" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54eda5912883301675eb2874f970b" src="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda5912883301675eb2874f970b-800wi" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Repmogul_video" /></a></span></p>
<p><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">RepMogul - affiliate link</span></a></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I haven't seen a competing training product on reputation management but I have seen organisations with a reputation problem online.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Who Shouldn't Buy Rep Mogul?</strong></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The  price for RepMogul is low but if you can't afford it, don't buy. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The sales video has a big value build and huge discounts. This is a classic sales technique designed to make you want to buy now. The price will go up in the future but if you're short of cash, I believe you're better off waiting, even if you really like the idea of offering a reputation management service.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Second, if you have a bad habit of buying Internet training products and then not taking action, your personal history suggests that the same thing will happen with RepMogul.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If you're thinking "yes but this is different...", ask yourself some hard questions about why it will be different this time. Yes there is a money back guarantee but only you know whether you can see yourself committing to do what's necessary to succeed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Third, I fear that RepMogul can be abused and, if it happens a lot, that could bring the entire online reputation management service into disrepute. Used honestly, the service is very valuable and much appreciated by clients when you help to restore their good name online.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">But there's the problem of the fireman who liked putting out fires and being the hero so much, that he went around starting them in the first place.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Dishonest scam artists can target good businesses, create malicious anonymous comments online and then pretend to be the cavalry riding to the rescue. In my view, that action is despicable and a complete scam. It's little different from the scum who launch viruses for phishing attacks to steal money from bank accounts.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">RepMogul service solves a problem but it's a bit like selling burglar alarms. I wish the underlying problem didn't exist and I'd like the big ripoff sites to outlaw anonymous posts and stop publication if people use fake email addresses.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If anyone has a legitimate complaint, they should have the bottle to use their real name and only resort to the Internet if they've failed to resolve the issue with the business. Bad stuff happens and things don't go to plan but a good company will see the customer right.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">However, we live in the real world and have to accept that there are nasty people out there with a grudge (against a person, a business or the world) and honest small business owners deserve protection.<br /></span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Who Should Buy RepMogul?</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If you're already active as a local Internet marketing consultant helping small businesses with SEO, pay per click and social media, then the online reputation management service seems to me to be a natural extension to what you offer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It is an important extra service you can sell to clients who have suffered from one of these nasty attacks or even as an insurance policy to stop it happening. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Online reputation management is subtly different from usual SEO work that is based around achieving high rankings for buyer-based keywords with clicks going to one website. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Reputation management is about multiple pages on different websites for brand based searches which force the malicious Internet attacks onto page 2 or 3.<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm surprised that I haven't thought about it myself because I know the reputation problem exists.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Because the work can be done outside of normal business hours, RepMogul seems appropriate for people who want to supplement their income from their day jobs. Just be wary of the high income claims made and reduce your expectations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/RMPub/a271" target="_self">RepMogul</a> - affiliate link<br /></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You can learn a lot by studying the email promotions from the best marketers which is why I like to keep a record.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The reports that I'm getting back as an active affiliate for Ryan Deiss say that RepMogul has been selling well and I'm seeing a bump in traffic as people land on this blog posting.<br /></span></p>

<content type="xhtml" xml:lang="en-US" xml:base="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/"><div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A few days ago I bought the Short Codes Deluxe Wordpress plugin to help improve conversions on websites.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm very impressed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="http://businessdevelopmentadvice.com/blog/shortcodes" target="_self">Short Codes Deluxe Plugin</a> - affiliate link </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">You may think it's strange that someone who has a popular Tyepad blog is buying a Wordpress plugin and especially if you've read some of my earlier blogging posts that effectively say "I love Typepad but hate Wordpress".</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">They were written a long time ago and I'm much happier now that the technical aspects of Wordpress have been simplified so that a tech dummy can do it. I use Wordpress for squeeze pages (<a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2010/12/optimize-press-gets-better-with-version-12.html" target="_self">OptimisePress</a> is my preference) and have one big blog <a href="http://www.differentiateyourbusiness.co.uk" target="_self" title="Differentiate Your Business">Differentiate Your Business</a> running on Wordpress.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">What is Short Codes Deluxe?</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The plugin lets you install all kinds of Marketer's Toolkit design features to help with conversions very simply and easily.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">If I can do it, then just about anyone can do it although the Short Codes Deluxe plugin is a biggie and needs to be FTP'd up to your website rather than using the automatic plugin upload. That made me nervous - anything with FTP does - but it worked fine.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The <a href="http://businessdevelopmentadvice.com/blog/shortcodes" target="_self">Short Codes Deluxe sales letter</a> (affiliate link) does any excellent job of showing exactly what you get with Short Codes Deluxe and all the different types of button you can add to your website.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Like...</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> <a href="http://businessdevelopmentadvice.com/blog/shortcodes" style="display: inline;" target="_self"><img alt="Warning_important_message" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54eda5912883301539370e39e970b" src="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54eda5912883301539370e39e970b-800wi" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="Warning_important_message" /></a><br /><strong>You Need <a href="http://businessdevelopmentadvice.com/blog/shortcodes" target="_self">Short Codes Deluxe</a></strong><br /><strong>To BOOST Your Website Conversions</strong><br />(affiliate link)<br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">There are somethings that I could do without Short Codes Deluxe but it makes it easier. There are others that I don't have a clue how to do with Wordpress as I have no web design skills with html or CSS.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Different Versions Of Short Codes Deluxe</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Short Codes Deluxe has been released in three different versions:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A licence to install on 3 domains</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A licence to install on unlimited personal domains</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A licence to install on unlimited personal and client domains for website designers and anyone else actively involved in improving website conversions.</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I'm not going to commit to the prices because they can change.</span></p>

<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">What's In The Traffic &amp; Conversion Blueprint?</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"> These nine courses cover just about everything you need to know about generating traffic and converting interest into money. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The modules are:</span></p>
<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Dirt Cheap Traffic (tips on how to get cheap clicks from Google Adwords).</span></li>

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="http://businesscoaching.typepad.com/online_profits/2009/11/undercover-list-building-system-ryan-deiss.html" target="_self">Undercover List Building</a> (another product, currently withdrawn from the general market)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Offers That Crush (how to improve your conversions by tightening up your copy)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Whale Method (how to maximise your winning efforts by driving focused traffic to these money-makers)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Psychic Sales Design (how to use design tricks to increase conversions)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Automated Selling Machine (how to use webinars and teleseminars to grow your list on autopilot)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Triple X method (how to use upsells and cross-sells to earn more from each transaction)</span></li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">As you can see, Traffic &amp; Conversion Blueprint covers a lot of important issues and the great thing is that improvements will compound.</span></p>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">An Example Of Improving Traffic &amp; Conversion</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Imagine you had a website that:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Received 100 visitors per day</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Had a 1% conversion rate</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">And a $50 average transaction value.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That would give sales of:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$50 per day (1 sale at $50)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$350 per week</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$18,200 per year</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That's not bad at all for a part time income that supplements what you earn from your job but it's not enough to tell your boss to stuff it!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Now let's have a look at what happens if you used the techniques covered in the Traffic &amp; Conversion Blueprint and each key metric doubles</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Traffic increases from 100 visitors per day to 200.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Conversions increase from 1% to 2%</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Order value increases from $50 to $100.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That now gives sales of:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$400 per day (4 sales at $100)<br /></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$2,800 per week</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">$145,600 per year</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">That is serious money and shows the benefit of compound growth. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">It's not all going to be profit because the pay per click, banner campaigns etc are going to bring costs.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Is these numbers unrealistic?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">They will take some effort and testing but $400 from 200 clicks creates an earnings per click (EPC) of $2. Many of Ryan Deiss own offers have an EPC of $4 to $6 i.e. double or triple the example.</span></p>
