Interested in the history of War Brides?  Take a look at ”Most Excellent Citizens: Canada’s War Brides of WWII,” a remarkable study of Canada’s 48,000 World War II war brides. Eswyn Lyster spent the last decade of her life interviewing a staggering 5,000 War Brides and hundreds of their descendants.
