The Wolfman Hollywood Movie Review :
The Wolfman' Review The film is a remake of the 1941 horror film of the same name. The central plot follows Lawrence Talbot (Benicio del Toro), a man who re-unites with his father (Anthony Hopkins) after learning his brother has been brutally murdered. Talbot, who has had a distant relationship with his family, decides to stay home in order to discover what happened to his brother. As he gets deeper into his 'investigation', he unravels secrets from his childhood and crosses path with the werewolf, which eventually bites him and makes him a target.
Let me start off with some of the positives of the film. The performances in the movie were absolutely fantastic. Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Emily Blunt all delivered and really brought their characters to life. It's always good to have great performances in a horror/action film. Everything seems genuine and all of the characters are very engaging. The set pieces and cinematography are all beautifully created. There's a lot of eye candy in this film just as far as the sets are concerned, and I really love the atmosphere this film created. The visuals I saw were pretty cool, although some of them were still in progress. I imagine the visuals will be awesome when the film is released next year. The music is also pretty unique and memorable. I rarely comment on the score of a film, but this one really had some great music.

The story even forgets to answer some questions that may have been burning in your mind, and when you leave the theater you wonder why these questions were never answered (you can blame the writing and fast-paced scenes for that). Emily Blunt's character also seemed to be useless, and was just added to give off some romance. Finally, the ending wasn't that great. I wish it gave off more of a conclusion, but the ending just wasn't for me.
Overall, The Wolfman is a fun horror/action film. The acting is great, the sets and visuals are awesome, and the action sequences are pretty cool. There are also some pretty nice kills in this one for all of you blood/gore fans. While the film can be fun, the plot suffers from the film's inconsistent pacing, which eventually leaves some plot holes. Trust me, the trailer makes this flick seem a lot cooler than it actually is. Just eat your popcorn and leave your mind at home...it's just brainless fun.

There were some scenes that blew me Daylights. The film is damned scared. And your question is one of the most haunting films, Ram Gopal Varma, said the rookie who is not nervous, but glad that his films at the 3rd September were published.

Plot:
A troubled evangelical minister agrees to let his last exorcism be filmed by a documentary crew.

Synopsis:
When he arrives on the rural Louisiana farm of Louis Sweetzer, the Reverend Cotton Marcus expects to perform just another routine “exorcism” on a disturbed religious fanatic. An earnest fundamentalist, Sweetzer has contacted the charismatic preacher as a last resort, certain his teenage daughter Nell is possessed by a demon who must be exorcized before their terrifying ordeal ends in unimaginable tragedy.

Buckling under the weight of his conscience after years of parting desperate believers with their money, Cotton and his crew plan to film a confessionary documentary of this, his last exorcism. But upon arriving at the already blood drenched family farm, it is soon clear that nothing could have prepared him for the true evil he encounters there. Review The Last Exorcism:
Yes this is our review for The Last Exorcism and it comes courtesy of our friend and Canadian horror review "bastard" Will Brownridge (The Film Reel). All joking aside Will has did a ton for us in the past and this has to be one of the coolest. It pays to work at the HorrorBid Canada offices. Not only did he have the chance to screen the The Last Exorcism but he had a Q and A with Eli Roth, Ashley Bell and Patrick Fabian....

Below is Will's review and the Q and A while he attended the TAD (Toronto After Dark) Film Festival 2010.

I have to be honest that I wasn’t really excited to see this one. It looked relatively spooky and it seemed to have a straight forward idea. Girl is possessed, preacher comes to perform an exorcism, end of story. At least that was the impression that I got from the trailer. I was completely wrong. It was the exact opposite of what I thought it would be and it was an incredibly amazing film. This is the kind of movie where I’m so taken by how good it is that I’m not sure what to write about it. I always find it easier to write about something that is bad and I can’t think of one thing I didn’t like about this one. From the first few seconds until the very end I was glued to the screen. It was funny, creepy, shocking, surprising and full of twist after twist. Just when I think I had it all figured out it would take another direction and leave me wondering what would happen next. Before I get too much into the film I’ll let you check out the intro with Eli Roth, Ashley Bell and Patrick Fabian.
I’ve thought about this one a lot and I’ve decided that I don’t want to give anything away about the movie. The reason I enjoyed it so much is because right from the start of the film it went against everything I was expecting. This left me wondering what would happen next and it makes every second of the film that much more surprising. I did film the Q&A afterwards and I will be posting it here but I went to the trouble of taking out anything that was a big spoiler. They do still explore some of the bigger themes of the film and if you’re really into checking this out then I suggest skipping the Q&A altogether and just going to see the movie. After the film does come out I’ll probably repost this review with the full Q&A and all its spoiler goodness.

What I will talk about is the incredible job each actor does in their role. Patrick Fabian as the minister is the strongest character in the film. His ability to charm everyone is a key point to the film and I have to admit that I’d probably listen to anything this guy told me. He’s incredible in the movie. Ashley Bell does an equally good job as Nell Sweetzer, the young girl who is need of the exorcism. She can go from sweet to scary in a few seconds and her twisting and convulsing is all physical, no effects needed, which was hard to believe once I had seen it. Louis Herthum plays her father, Louis Sweetzer and Caleb Landry Jones plays her brother Caleb Sweetzer. They’re opposite ends of the spectrum with Herthum as the deeply religious dad and Jones as the faithless brother. Both actors bring the creep factor to their roles for different reasons and they play a huge part in the film. I just don’t want to say what part!
I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with this one although I’m a little on the fence about the ending. It’s good but I’m not sure it was necessary. Through the entire film my thoughts on what was happening were turned on their head. As soon as I thought I had it figured out it would flip and go in a new direction and it flowed perfectly. Aside from the ending there isn’t a really shocking twist and all the ideas flowed together naturally. The performances are amazing, the creep factor is high and it had some impressive jump scares. My friend and his girlfriend joined us for the screening and I thought his girlfriend was going to pass out. I’ve never seen someone jump so high before! The movie was just a mind-blowing experience and I am dying to see it again. I loved every minute of it and will be going to the theater with my girlfriend to see this one again. Dabangg Synopsis:
Set in Uttar Pradesh, Dabangg is the story of a corrupt police officer played by Salman Khan and highlights the flaws and loopholes in the system.
The film will primarily deal with the unlawful practices in the states of UP and Bihar.

Dabangg Music Review:
Hud Hud! Here comes desi Robinhood aka Salman Khan with his film Dabangg and its full-on-masti music. The promos are already a hit on the small screen. So what is lined up for the music buffs, or, to say, Sallu fans?
Sajid-Wajid, Salman’s favourite composer duo is back after Veer, creating songs for Dabangg as well. So, plug-in to Dabangg music, which for sure is going to entertain you.
In a typical Sajid-Wajid style, the album begins with Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, a Bollywood romantic number soused in sufi flavour. If Rahat Fateh Ali Khan delivers the song in his usual vigour, Shreya Ghosal’s saccharine voice adds melody to the song. Deadly combo and terrific rendering! However, the remix version of the song fails to make a mark. Rahat again wins hearts with the sad version of the song which is slow and immensely passionate.

Welcome Munni Badnam Hui song and get into the Dabangg rustic mood. The masala track has Malaika Arora’s thumkas, so expect the screen to sizzle. Newcomer Lalit Pandit is the composer of the song and gets Mamta Singh and Aishwarya to sing this raunchy number, and one will definitely enjoy its catchy lyrics, main jhandu bam hui darling tere liye - that’s mind-boggling. Well, the credit goes to lyricist Jalees Sherwani. Alas! the remix version of the song has not much to offer.
The album slips into mushy mood with Chori Kiya Re Jiya. Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal team up again to give us a love ballad. But the track falls short of expectations; sadly it is just an average number.

Now comes the true Dabangg song. Hud Hud Dabangg is gritty and valorous in tone and who else than Sukhwinder to sing it. As usual, the crooner has done a brilliant job with this number which makes it one of the must-hear songs in the whole album. So what if it’s a bit similar to the Omkara track.
Hamka Peeni Hai, is another song that promises sharab, shabab and music. The folk based song crooned by Wajid with Master Salim is full on masti which makes it undoubtedly a treat for the Salman maniacs. The remix version is racy and saucy; get ready to have a blast.
The most entertaining of the lot seems to be the Dabangg theme, which is extensively used in the promos. The instrumental song has some of Salman’s dhasu dialogues from the film too. Like a fireball, the theme song enthralls.
Music directors have done full justice to the album and to Salman’s character. The actor’s die-hard fans will surely not be disappointed. The groovy songs bustle with vim and fun.
You would like to hear - Hud Hud Dabangg, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, Munni Badnaam.

The Last Airbender Movie Review

I have to say the film was okay, found it very choppy and yes it did not hold totally true to the main animation of the original Avatar the last air bender. Plus it was a major speed through like if somebody just hit the fast forward button from the beginning right to the end of the film.

There was no time for you to have a real feel of what the story is truly about let alone have a understanding of what the charters where going through. I did however enjoyed the first 3/5 min of the film where it did hold true and found interesting but really OUCH for the rest.

The art work, graphics and design where good almost great but good. Generally I would not say anything about film but in this case I really don't recommend it to anybody unless your renting it. This film I say needs a lot more work to be done to it and cut back on the cheese action far to many action very little quality care.

I have seen many cheese films and this film would defiantly be add to the cheese list of films. I knew the film was not going to hold true to the main story line but still I did expect better from M.Knight. This is not his greats work at all out of all the great films he has down this is the worst film that I have ever seen come from him.
