ALBA CALLS FOR HOLLYWOOD EQUALITY

Actress Jessica Alba isn’t competitive with rival actresses - because she believes they should come together to seek equality with their male counterparts.
The Fantastic Four star has risen to become one of today’s biggest Hollywood actresses, competing with fellow movie star pals Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson and Eva Mendes for the top roles.
But Alba doesn’t consider her peers a threat - instead urging them to stand up and demand equal pay and similar treatment to male actors.
She says, “I’m not competitive with them (actresses). I root for all of them because we definitely don’t have equality with men in this business.
“There are a lot more men making a lot more money and headlining movies than women, and the more of us who can come up and do that the better. I want my friends to produce, direct, act, write, all of it.”
She adds, “I think being competitive defeats the whole female movement. I want to be encouraging to my girlfriends. Totally.”

Jessica Alba Wants More Children

Jessica Alba wants to have more children.

The ‘Sin City’ actress — who gave birth to Honor Marie, her first child with husband Cash Warren, on June 7 — says she is enjoying motherhood so much she would love to have more children and would even follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and Madonna and adopt if she needed to.

She explains, “I’d like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I’d adopt if I still want more children after that.

“What’s wonderful is that I have a man right now and, God willing, we can be married forever. He wants the same things in life.

“He wants to adopt and have a big family and he believes in marriage forever. It can really happen if we want it to.”

Jessica, 27, recently said she would not be raising Honor to be Hollywood’s next child, as she will be getting her education first.

“When she finishes college, she can do whatever she wants,” Jessica told OK! magazine in July. “[An education] is only going to benefit her in whatever she wants to do.”

American actress Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor is going to be a stunner exactly like her mom. The actress says that her daughter is truly a copy of her, and has all her characteristics. Alba even says that her daughter does not resemble her father.

“She looks like a girl version of me. She has my nose, my eyebrows and my forehead, dimples,” Contactmusic quoted Alba as telling OK! Magazine. “She has my mouth when I was a baby and my ears,” Alba added.

Yeah, Frank Miller as in the director of Sin City and other memorable movies. The normally stoic director had a confession in the recent Comic-Con and shared his geek-out moment that involved Jessica Alba. Frank Miller said, “I was on the set of Sin City, and we were doing the first scene where Bruce Willis comes in and finds out that the girl that saved him had become an exotic dancer. It was the first time with Jessica Alba on stage with a lasso. I had picked the music that would play that particular time. It was Emmylou Harris, ‘Wrecking Ball.’ And she danced, an elegant dance, swinging the lasso, and I found myself bursting into tears because that was a dream that had just come true.” WOW! Tears! Jessica Alba must have danced that goood! Or maybe she was sooo sexy that Frank Miller can’t help himself. LOL! Either way, it’s a great compliment for our fave actress right?? =)

SURPRISE! LOL! Now that the Mike Myers-helmed movie is being shown overseas, we’re getting a lot of non-American feedback on how was the movie. And more importantly, on how was Jessica Alba as Mike Myers’ love interest and as a hockey team owner. And guess what? Mirror.co.uk says that our favorite actress was great! YEAH! Previous reviews of her acting was not too good — a Hindu moviegoer even said “If you???re going to get mad [at the Love Guru], get mad at Justin Timberlake???s [scene depicting male genitalia] or Jessica Alba???s awful acting.??? OUCH! But hey, here’s the good news: Mirror.co.uk wrote,

Still, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba (in a sweet mock Bollywood scene) are great - and the truth is even a lukewarm Mike Myers can still make you smile at times.

Eva Longoria partnered with renowned chef Todd English and Beso is earning respectable reviews from critics. When it opened, there was a star-studded event graced by celebrities including Jessica Alba. And now, the dewy Mrs. Parker is looking at expanding Beso into a nightclub on the famous Strip. Wow! A friend of Eva Longoria told Ok!, ???She???s really excited to have a place to party in Vegas with all her friends.??? And by friends, fellow Latina Jessica Alba is definitely in the list! =) And our fave actress is definitely supporting Eva in her new venture. A source revealed to OK!, ???Jessica Alba thinks Beso is a solid investment.??? Maybe she’ll invest in it too?
