This place looks like a movie location old rock building with potted flowers and the charm of southern france. Rob and Mike look across the street to make sure we can fit the bus in.  We are parked ok…so  I must get out and look around this town.The air is fresh and I can feel the lake dew on my skin. The place reminds me of home as a girl running barefoot in the sand. so I played outside with Chris my piano player and Jen his girl we laughed and jumped around what a magical place. I can’t wait to see the place in the light of day.  WOW  morning is here.  I and gotta tell ya, This place is even more enchanting in the light of day.  We walked across the street to the inn and have coffee and are greeted by warren the man who runs the  place. What a nice man. We met a man named Jim and talked about the town. The people are down home kind. REAL people. SHOW TIME….I gotta tell ya..We had the best show sunday at the rock inn. That will be a mothers day to remember, for all you great people that were part of the show thanks for singing and making the whole day fun. I must say I love the place. I think next time I am there I am going to go fishing. For those of you who never have been up to the rock inn GO…..you can stay at the inn they have six rooms and the best food. I hope you meet rose when you go …she will tell the best stories about the history of the place.  The high light of the show for me was when Chris played Rose a song on the honkey tonk piano she had in her class room years ago. Her face lit up like christmas. Big hello to warren and everyone who works in the inn, and to all of you fun loving people at the show. I am honored to say I will see you for the days of 49 and labor day. I can’t wait…

I have got to give huge thanks to Michael Moore for his caring about health care in America. If you guys get a chance check out his movie called Sicko, I gotta tell you the movie has struck a nerve with me…. I think every American should be able to see a doctor. What the hell is wrong with America. No one is being held responsible for their actions. The men and women who stamp DENIED on an insurance clam, and the person who needs the help dies, should be accountable. 1st degree murder and the insurance carrier listed as a co-conspiritor….Sham on you….What  gives you the right to decided who lives or dies…you insurance companies have gotten rich off Americans. If we stop feeding the beast then it will die….but fear has us by the throat if we stop paying and something happens to us we die….guys….its WE THE PEOPLE not ME THE PERSON like the insurance companies think, they dont care about us, they care about the dollar.  WE THE PEOPLE should join hands and take to the streets aginst health care in America. Its our money…. we make it happen… why are we killing ourselves to pay for insurance….The goverment should be affraid of us the PEOPLE. Lets stop the fear and make a differance. Anyone who has had a loved one murdered by the insurance companies should make them accountable.

What a man. He sang his heart out for two hours. Anyone who has ever seen the legend live knows the feeling: he smiles and the crowd yells, moves his hand and they yell, hell I was yelling too.

I looked around at the crowd, 3500 people, all ages, all dancing, all having the time of their lives. Then Willie introduced his son Lucas who was on guitar, wow what a player and a good singer. Willie’s sister Bobbie played her heart out on piano.  The best part of the night was  when Willie’s tour bus and my tour bus had a honk fest as he was leaving. Willie is doing something right..see you at the next show Willie…..

It’s hard to imagine that we just did 24 shows in 4 weeks. We’re taking the next week or so to review where we are and put the plan in place for the rest of the year. We know now that we have something - with hundreds of people dancing and singing along to the songs, signing up to the mailing list, sending encouraging emails and video - we can’t wait to take the show to the next level.
