DEADPOOL.

The Marvel phenomenon that got every talking about R-Rated superhero movies (kind of).

It premiered in February 2016 and earned more than $760 million worldwide, making it the biggest R-Rated opening weekend of all time and Twentieth Century Fox’s biggest debut ever.

Ryan Reynolds personally campaign to have the film made and eventually went on to portray his favorite superhero when it finally became real. Now he’s campaigning to get it nominated for an Oscar (possibly Best Picture) and people are rallying behind it.

This begs the question: Is Deadpool an Oscar contender?
