*Full disclosure. We’re all outta whack on posting sessions & blogs for everyone to see. It’s what happens when 2020 runs into 2021. Better late that never, right?! So without further ado, we present a session that was done last fall. *

If I remember correctly, this was maybe what you’d call a “perfect fall day”

-Cooler weather. Check

-LOTS of great colors on the trees. Check

-Warm light. Check

-A happy 6 month old Logan and his adorable older bro Tommy. Check.

Yup, all those boxes were checked, so that’s a perfect fall family lifestyle session if we ever saw one.

This sweet babe joined her big brothers & sister last summer!

We met up (socially distanced, and masked) at the very spot where her parents were married to photograph these special images. Their tree that they planted during the ceremony even makes an appearance in a few images. Betsy & Tom left the big kids with grandma & grandpa so they could spend some time with their sweet girl Rosi. We love that this location has so many happy memories for this family and it’s been fun to watch it grow and change, just like their family. These are some of our favorite types of sessions, causal & relaxed (most likely the calm before the storm of having 4 kids!).

We can’t wait to see her grow up you guys. Cheers to Miss Rosina and her entire amazing family.

Grab your fanciest bow-tie, some confetti to toss and a DONUT, MACK turned ONE!

We spent the morning with the Wallis’ documenting some BIG NEWS (more on that HAPPY news in the next post!) and documenting THIS KID because Mack had a “DONUT GROW UP!” birthday! This kid knows how to party, a chocolate donut in one hand and a glazed in the other; if you’re going to do it, might as well do it right!

The babe inside Sarah’s belly is already a year old…how does time go so fast?! We’re catching up on getting all of last year’s sessions blogged, and we’re starting with Sarah, Phil, Tommy and baby boy. Sarah wanted to do a little something different for her second time around (who remembers their sun filled maternity session?! One of my favorites!) and opted for a super simple studio session. We love how they turned out.

Stay tuned for their newborn session, a fall family session AND a YEAR session with baby Logan!

I swear we’ll get all caught up one day.

While the pandemic is still very much present, we’re taking all the recommended precautions and would like very much to get back to doing what we love; documenting life. Robbie is fully vaccinated and I get my second dose at the end of the week (!), and we’ve officially OPENED UP the books for 2021 lifestyle family sessions, senior portraits & weddings! If you or someone you know is thinking about having photographs taken, send them our way. Small businesses took a hit in 2020 (and are still working on opening back up) so spreading the word about shopping small is now more important than ever. 2020 through us ALL for a big loop. For Robbie and I, it wasn’t only canceled weddings and big events, but knowing that we’d miss out on photographing family sessions (which is a HUGE part of our business AND also is a time for us to hang out and socialize with clients turned friends). Luckily for us, THIS CREW was up for a small road trip and a very safe and socially distanced family session! With the sun was out and fresh air aplenty, we 100% made the most of our day with the Schubbe Family (and MAN OH MAN, did it feel good to laugh!). We celebrated with pumpkin cookies and it was glorious. CHEERS! to the Schubbe Family and their fun family, we love you guys and we’re so glad we could spend the morning with you all!
