ShareKit is a open source software for iPhone/iPod touch. Social network service is a main stream for web. It’s more fun that sharing photos and messages, than just store data locally.

Usable services are depend on data (URL, photos, messages and files).

Social services are also fun for smartphone users. There are a lot of apps which can post data to twitter, If data are shared to other social services, it’s more fun. ShareKit is helpful for developing that.

Gow (Gnu On Windows) – – The lightweight alternative to Cygwin

Gow is one of OSS products for MS Windows.
For those who usually use Linux or Mac OS X, command line operations are real pains when they switch to Windows. As we have no choise but to use GUI on it, it would be convenient if we can do some work on a command line.

Over 130 commands

In that case, I used to use Cygwin. But I didn’t like it bacause of its frequent changes of registries and the naming “cygdrive” itself.
If you want to use just commands simply, try Gow.

Gow (Gnu On Windows) is a set of Linux commands, which can be used simply. It is a package consists of around 136 common commands includes ls, wc and wget, serviceable programs such as cvs, scp or putty. Interestingly, it has vim as well .

Gow will be added to PATH so that we can call various commands freely on the commnad prompt windows. A “Command Prompt Here” menu will be added to the context menu in Exploler as well. If you use Gow, the command prompt would be more useful tool. As it is simpler than Cygwin, it would be great for the most people.

TouchpadPal is freeware for Windows.　Personally,　I’m no good with a mouse or a track pad, so I usually use a touch pad. Even with a desktop PC, I use an external keyboard with a touch pad. A touch pad is useful because we don’t need to move our hands from a certain position.

There is one weak point of the touch pad though it is useful. The weak point is that a cursor will move when we touch the touch pad while we enter characters. TouchpadPal will help this weak point.

TouchpadPal is resident software for Windows. When we keep on entering characters on our PC for some seconds, the touch pad is locked. In this situation, the touch pad is disabled even if we touch it. It’s very useful for reducing our touch misses to the touch pad.

TouchpadPal might be more useful for someone who don’t use a touch pad mainly. Someone who use their laptop with a mouse will disable the touch-pad function entirely. It will be a little bother for them to switch the touch-pad function when they use their laptop with no mouse outside their home. TouchpadPal will resolve this.

There is a vertical mode in some word processors but it’s quite difficult to apply the same when we talk about the web. Circumflex, diacritical marks, punctuation mark, and etc. there are plenty of difficulties in converting them. I mean you can’t just turn the letter around and read as a vertical layout. It’s just not that simple. Taketori JS has all the features of repairing such scripts to vertical layout.
