Vision is impaired. Paranoia kicks in. A crack of a branch sends you into a panic. Are you breathing too loud? Can they hear your heart pounding through your chest? Who can you trust? Where can you hide? The dark envelopes you. Nowhere is safe. It is MANHUNT 2011.
Teams will battle in an epic night of hide-and-seek extreme, where the seekers might not be who you think they are. Some get lost. Some have never been found. The woods taunt you. Your sense lie to you. And every sound could be the last you hear before you are caught…

Our annual retreat down south to South Carolina for an incredible weekend about Jesus! Overnight, we stayed in a church gymnasium. We goofed off. We played some sports. We ate some snacks. We had some great fellowship and time to be a family. A few hours of sleep later, and we were headed over to the Farm. Carnival games, great food, football and volleyball filled our time outside the tent, but the main action happened around God’s word. Aaron Coffey opened up the gospel for us and shared God’s grace! God’s word met our needs!

Currently, we are seeking a fresh glimpse at the cross to understand how the gospel shapes every aspect of our lives.
If the gospel is constantly “bearing fruit and growing” (Col. 1:6), then everything has to do with the gospel—God, humanity, salvation, worship, relationships, shopping, recreation, work, personality…everything!
What to expect:
Expect to be challenged. Most of us have reduced the gospel to something much less than it is. As you work through each lesson, expect your thinking about the gospel to be challenged and expanded.
Expect the Holy Spirit to be the one ultimately responsible for our growth, and for the change in each person’s life—including your own. Relax and trust him.
It’s FARM FEST time in Tennessee!
October 7–8, 2011 | $15
You are invited to join 1,500 teens from across the Southeast for Farm Fest 2011. This over night trip experience is packed full of carnival-type challenges “out in the pasture,” delicious food, hilarious skits and great music. In addition to these festivities, teens will attend three preaching services held under the “big tent.” After the teens worship the Lord through singing, evangelist Aaron Coffey will bring relevant messages about salvation and Christian living.
Who can come?
Teenagers in grades 7–12
How Much?
For just $15 you get an overnight trip, breakfast, a whole day of awesome—with games, activities and a delicious lunch. Bring some extra change for paintball and all the concession items, and for a fast food meal on the way home.
What Do I Wear?
Put on your overalls for the trip to the farm—don’t forget the farm atmosphere and the type of activities. We do ask that there be no shorts, halter tops or tank tops.

We set up. We tore down. We worked. We ate. The Big Help, our oppurtunitiy to serve our church and community by giving a day to just working hard for Jesus was a huge success.
WHAT IS THIS THING?Every year, we take a whole day out of our busy schedules to serve–both the community and our church! And we have a blast doing it!
One major part will be participating in the annual Walk for Life to support our Choices Pregnancy Center in Oak Ridge.
We will then spend the rest of our day serving our church. We break up into teams and are distributed about our community as a roving encouragement/landscaping crew fulfilling tasks for some needy individuals in the church.
Once the work is done we meet back up for a cookout and some serious games before calling it a day.
Plan to join us for a satisfying day of fellowship and service!

Recharge Race is a massive event that happens Wednesdays in October at CrossTraining:Oak Ridge Baptist Church. It is a month-long competition that is jam packed with intense outdoor competition, free food, hanging out with friends, hilarious skits, awesome prizes, and whole lot more. Every night there is some time to hang out, some time for competition, and some time to learn about what is really important!

The night was right. The screens were set: a main stage for epic competitions, and 2 smaller side shows for Kinect and mini-competitions. The mood was joyful to begin. Teams were divided. And the match began. Spontaneous 4-square matches broke out. Yelling and screaming erupted. Pizza was consumed. Candy devoured.
It can only mean one thing. Wiiville happened.
