A 25-year-old man was arrested after Palm Bay police said they used night-vision surveillance cameras to record him stealing tires from a Ford dealership.

St. James Cathedral begins 18-month, $10 million renovation

Workers began removing pews in downtown Orlando's St. James Catholic Cathedral Monday morning as the 56-year-old church begins an 18-month, $10 million renovation. The pews are being sent to Jamaica for use in Catholic orphanages and schools, said Father John McCormack. On Wednesday, workers are scheduled to begin removing the two pipe organs and their combined 3,500 pipes for a $1 million restoration. The last mass inside the cathedral was held Sunday. Future masses will be conducted in the church's social hall.
