July Discovery Guides Training

Want to earn service hours by working with children? Sign up to be a Discovery Guide, and lead crafts, science and technology activities, and more at the NEW Discovery Depot in the Youth Services area!

At this meeting Sara will take you through the steps necessary to become an awesome Discovery Guide, and then you will sign up for volunteer hours. We will meet promptly at 4:00 in the Youth Services area.

Who should attend this meeting: ALL new Discovery Guides are required to attend this meeting.

Previous volunteers can stop by the Junior Desk any time after 4 p.m. on this day to sign up for volunteer time slots.

July Teen Techies Mandatory Meeting

When: Monday, June 29, 2015 - 4:00 PM - 4:20 PM

Help with computers and earn community service hours. During this program you will provide basic one-on-one computer assistance for adults. Volunteers must commit to at least one shift a week for 4 weeks.

At this mandatory meeting, volunteers will sign up for time slots.

Pinterest Palooza Teen! - Sheet Music Monogram

When: Monday, June 29, 2015 - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Youth Services Program Room

Calling all teens in grades 6-12 and their adult guests ages 18 and over (parents, older siblings, relatives, and adult friends welcome)! Join us for a Pinterest-inspired craft night. We'll provide the supplies to make amazing projects.

Please note, adult guests must also register for a space in the program.

Registration for any and all Pinterest Palooza Teen! programs begins on June 6th at 9:00 a.m. either online or in the Teen Area.
