We’re back in the soap kitchen mixing up soap and hoping our little winter here in the foothills of Tennessee is over. For those of you that have battled a long cold winter, I hope it’s almost over for you, too. I love winter and the snow, and I don’t even mind the cold temperatures, but I am ready to see the colors of Spring and smell fresh grass and the sweet fragrance of the wildflowers and blossoms.

We’ll be adding a few new soaps this year. Basil Sage Mint, Lemon Verbena, Roaring Fork and Woodland Glade. We’ve discontinued Sea Glass, but we’ve added an addition to our Cinnamon Orange, this soap will now have added Clove.

I had to take some personal time yesterday morning, but we’re back today and continuing on with posts profiling our collection.
Cinnamon Orange soap I think, is perfect for those mornings when you need a little comfort and soothing, maybe every morning!
Sweet Orange is energizing, white the soft scent of Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil and ground Cinnamon powder is warm to the senses.

Eucalyptus Mint Is Ready!

Your handcrafted Eucalyptus Mint soap is both warming and cooling, making this a great soap for all seasons. A real wake you and your lungs and get you going, soap! I like to take a bar of Eucalyptus Mint soap and cut a few slices and tuck into my kitchen drawers and cupboards. The Eucalyptus keeps everything smelling fresh.

Good Morning! We will be posting and profiling each soap as it comes off the drying racks this week and next. We had a great Winter Break, not as much snow as I would have liked, but great times with family and friends. I do hope your winter season was everything you hoped it would be!

Today we are profiling our Calendula Soap. If your idea of the perfect handcrafted soap is one without scent yet filled with creamy goodness and healing properties, then Calendula is the soap for you. Keeping in mind that ANY of our handcrafted soaps can be used as a shampoo bar, Calendula is by far my favorite for that purpose. Calendula has been our top seller since the beginning, and continues to perform well for people who want gentle cleansing for both hair and body. The infused Calendula petals make this soap an excellent choice for people with dry, acne prone, aging or even oily facial skin. Not only is Calendula one of my favorites to use, it is also one of my favorite to make.
