Drawn in biro, coloured and textured in Photoshop, Tobias at first approaches each mural as he would any other illustration. Printed onto acetate these initial illustrations are then projected onto the wall, an over head projector necessary when working to the pace denoted by the challengingly tight timescales of  restaurant-opening schedules.

The murals produced for Zizzi, full of colour, energy and character, have already garnered the right sort of attention.  The David Bowie mural for Zizzi Beckenham gained Hall a feature in Computer Arts, many murals have been sought for private commission and Zizzi have now taken Tobias on as a permanent member of their in house creative team.

Stellavie is a design studio  in Germany founded by designers Steffen Heidemann and Viktoria Klein. They specialise in the manufacturing of limited edition artworks and ‘prints’, paper greeting cards and lampshades. Their die cut works are just beautiful!

I love making things and putting things in an unusual context incorporating various visual languages coming from art and graphic design–eroticism is also a fascination of mine that I love exploring.

It was in New York in 1999, having lived there since the early 90s, that Bela began to focus on still life photography, which remains the focus of his work today.

Uniqlo and Nike are just two of Bela’s many notable clients. His surreal and undeniably eye catching still lifes can often be found adorning the pages of publications such as V Magazine and Vogue.

One of my favourite photographers is Jaryd Niles-Morris. I remember Jaryd before he began his career in photography, he was very laid back and one of those guys who was crazy enough to go skating down hills at college which was then followed by him rolling down them and jumping from two story buildings. You could say Jaryd is crazy, but anyone would tell you that most creative people are.

What impressed me about Jaryd is his rapid rate at which he started his career. He went from dabbling with photography while working as an assistant with Joel Brooks, another one of my favourite photographers to becoming a professional photographer working for numerous agencies in Barbados.
