Formula1 İstanbul Grand Prix'i izlemek için Bridgestone'un davetlisi olarak gittiğimizde Akay ile motorsporları ve pistler hakkında uzun uzun konuşma fırsatımız oldu. Bu sırada uzun süredir kanayan yaralardan biri olan pistsizlik sorunu hakkında da fikir paylaşımı yapma şansımız oldu. Bir yandan evlilik koşturmacam bir yandan iş koşuşturmam devam ederken aldığım bir mail bir anda yüzümü güldürdü geçtiğimiz hafta. Sevgili Yalçın Pembecioğlu Bridgestone'un davetlisi olarak Cumartesi günü İstanbulPark'ta yapılacak sıralama turlarını izlemek için 15 kişilik bir grup oluşturulduğunu, benim de bu gruba katılmak isteyip istemeyeceğimi sormuş. Ford Transit, altı milyonuncu aracın üretimini gerçekleştirdi. Dün gerçekleştirilen törenle Kocaeli Ford Otosan fabrikası'nda üretilen Transit  banttan indirildi. 
Ford Otosan'ın Kocaeli fabrikasında gerçekleştirilen törene Koç Holding Yönetim Kurulu  Başkanı Mustafa V. Koç, Ford Avrupa Başkanı John Fleming ve Ford Otosan  Genel Müdürü Nuri Otay katıldı.
