After a great Nordic Ski Season this past winter, I was able to find time to do all the fun summer things we all enjoy. Still time to get out there and hike, cycle, paddle, garden, camp, sleep in hammocks. Otto’s Ski Shop has a small warehouse packed with NNN touring and skating boots, Nordic touring poles in all sizes. We have a small selection of new adult touring skis. New touring youth skis in 150, 160, 170 cm. If you are looking for a new pair of boots, please have the skis you are using with you.
Another area where we are well stocked is our junior season rental skis are in great shape and being sold for $49 for a complete Junior package of skis boots and poles.

Left to sell we have a small collection of both used rentals and new touring and back country skis for adults. We have a large number of boots in both Salomon SNS Pilot and Profil, as well as NNN BC and NNN boots, from Alpina and Rossignol. Tons of touring poles are available.
For our Skaters we have Skate boots(Alpina, Salomon, Atomic) and poles for sale.

At last count Otto’s has over 100 pair of Junior touring skis, boots and poles in good conditions that I will be selling for $49 a package from 90 CM to 170 CM. The skiing has been fabulous the last few weeks and the snow pack on the east side is good. Teacup intends to groom at least through the third week of April.

Please come out and help us have a last Hurrah and stock up on “yard sale priced” equipment.
Any one wanting to help advertise the sale please share this with your group. I am looking for a few good employees for set up, the actual sale and packing it up for the liquidator. I am open to requests for equipment donations.

After a couple of days this past week where temperatures soared to 60 degrees at Teacup, the long term forecast shows snowier weather for the next week. With new snow coming in, we’ll be skiing well into April! Come enjoy one of the longest seasons in the United States. Grab your Day Pass or Season Pass and take a break from the garden. Spring skiing awaits!

The great news is we get to keep on skiing. I personally ski in the morning and garden in the afternoon. Exciting News from our adventure with Foster Outdoor in Portland. We have sold more than half the gear we had placed with them at their great store at 6615 SE Foster Rd., Portland. Better News for you: we have half of it left and in two weeks time it will be removed from the display floor. We want to find all of that gear a home in the next two weeks so Andreanne can retire and just wander around helping where she can and having fun the rest of the time.

This week has brought us lots of new snow on top of a nicely frozen, in place base. Looking like a great season continues. I have a small supply of Madshus in track skis with the MGV pattern, the Madshus Active MGV, that would fit a beginner to intermediate skier wanting to do the Teacup Classic this Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025. Register on the Teacup Nordic.org. I interested in the Madshus ski you can call ahead of my Foster Visit this Saturday and I will be sure to bring your size into town if that suits you or make an appointment out here in Sandy. On the skating scene, I have one Peltonen Skate ski for a skier weighing between 165- 198 lbs. I have 23 pair of Alpina, Atomic and Salomon skate boots. They are selling for at least $100 off of retail pricing and the used one time or so Atomic boots are selling at $159.
